Sarafina had to admit, it wasn't exactly a walk in the park after Ravi was born. Sarafina went to online schooling while staying with Kaleb who was practically home all the time when he wasn't out parting somewhere. Getting pregnant her Junior Year wasn't exactly part of the plan, but when Dodger agreed to stay with her she knew she had the perfect chance to have a family with him. Then came the proposal from Dodger, a few months later and that will be a day she would never forget, and now six years later and she's married to the guy of her dreams. She couldn't help but chuckle at his comment, "I'm not carring you up to the bedroom. She teased, as they walked to the bedroom.
When they finally reached the bedroom room, Sarafina tiredly crawled onto the bed getting under the somewhat warm covers. She rested her head on the pillow, pulling the covers close around her, the best part about sharing this bed was waking up in Dodger's arms, and he knew how much she loved that.

If Ravi came with an instruction manual, he would certainly liked to get his hands on that thing. His parents said the same thing about Dodger, before they decided to space out completely and throw in the parenting towel. Not even "Dodger for Dummies" could even begin to explain the intricate workings of the never dull Dodger Moore. He hadn't the slightest clue as to how to raise a kid, the only experience he ever had with them was the few times he would visit his uncle and his son. He could only hope that Ravi would grow up with some common sense, and a touch of class to keep him from becoming the misfit Dodger was. And still is, arguably. "Aw, that's not very nice of you." With a sly grin, he followed her up the stairs in hopes that sleep wouldn't take very long to get to him.
As their trek to their room ended, Sarafina sleepily climbed onto the bed and burrowed underneath the covers. Marv was already resting at the foot of the bed, and not even the atomic bomb would get him to move his happy butt. Like owner, like dog. He plopped down face first into the pillows, rolling over at a few seconds, leaning up to pat a sleeping Marv. This was right where he needed to be, and after years of searching for it he had finally found it. "Goodnight, love."

Sarafina knew how Dodger could be but to her, he wasn't a misfit. Dodger and Ravi meant a lot to her ever since she met Dodger in Texas he had meant a lot to her. When she first met Dodger, he wasn't the same as he was now. He was a drunk, and got into drugs but he gave that up for and she was happy he did, sure his personality hasn't change much, but his personality is what made him Dodger, and she wouldn't change that for anything. Well maybe a bit of his smartass side but not much, his personality is what made him stanplay along d out from the crowd, he could take a joke, he knew how to take joke. And he had been there for her since the beginning, even when Sarafina told him she was pregnent with his kid he had stayed with her and she was happy that he did.
A giggle escaped her as he plopped down onto the bed, and of course the plopping hadn't change at but she didn't mind at all. Marv had already made himself comfortable on the bed, while Beau, who was too big for the bed made himself at home on a few extra blankets and pillows in the corner. She smiled at Dodger's words, "Goodnight sweetheart, see you in the morning. She said lovingly, before turning around so that she was facing him, giving him a good night kiss.

He was far too content with laying in that spot, about ready to give in and close his eyes. Hell, he could sleep forever if sleeping forever was an option. Old habits die hard, right? "I'll see you....whenever I wake up. If I wake up." He was kidding around with her, of course, but he wasn't kidding about being completely exhausted. That was one habit she would never be able to shake from him, including his undying love for sugary sweet snow cones and keeping his car as clean as possible. There wasn't so much as a speck of dust on that thing. But above everything else, was the only girl he'd ever loved and the only girl who got to him like she did.
His eternally lazy Boston Terrier gave a content sigh, standing up and stretching himself out before trotting up to Sarafina and crashing right next to her. Just as he closed his eyes, she bid him goodnight and kissed him right then and there.

A lot of people asked what she saw in Dodger, even though deep down he was snarky, had a lot of pride and had a mind of his own she knew deep down there was a Dodger she knew that she could only bring out, she would do anything for Dodger. Hell, even though she knew it was more the other way around she would give her life for him. She had been through hell and back before she met Dodger, but when he stepped into the picture everything just seem to get better and better, sure they hit a few bumps in high school but she forgave him, cause she loved him and she knew how much she meant to him, her and Ravi.
A smile appeared on her face as she felt Marv move next to her, she rememered when she heard the "Like Dog, Like Owner." Well that was Marv and Dodger, even from day one Marv was literally in love with Sarafina, wherever Sarafina went Marv went. Even when Sarafina is sleeping and Dodger came in to wake her up, Marv would give Dodger the "Back the fuck up" growl at him and everytime Marv did that Dodger gave him the same respone, push off the bed and Sarafina would tell Dodger, Be nice to Marv. But Dodger was never nice to anyone or anything that got in his way to Sarafina, and that was the truth.

As sleepy and delusional as he was tonight, he was still awake enough to notice that "Bitch, please" look his Boston Terrier had on his face. However, Dodger liked to call him the fluffy mutt from hell, although in Sarafina's eyes he wore a halo and was a complete saint. That got his curiosity flowing, what would happen if you flicked holy water at Marv, what would happen? Would be burst into flames, maybe? Run away and whine for a minute? Or would be just sit there and blink and wait until you weren't looking to plan his revenge. As appealing as those options sounded, Dodger decided to let the sleeping dog sleep next to Sarafina. Fine, next time he needs his shots...she can take the monster to the vet. At least she wouldn't threaten to kick him out of the car if he dared chew at her interior.
"Good night Demon Dog...good night Sassifrass...good night Ravioli. " That got a snicker out of him, his sense of humor was even more strange and unusual during the odd hours of the morning. If he couldn't make any sense of it, surely Sassifrass could give it a shot. "Yeah, that's right. I called him a demon."

Of course this was one of the nights when Dodger decided to be a complete pain the butt. First he said he was tired, and now he was making snarky remarks. But one thing that did put a smile on her face was Dodger's and Marv's love/hate relationship, when Dodger first found Marv and brought him over to her dorm, Marv had fallen in love with Sassifrass, and he proved it to. Anytime when Dodger would come near Sarafina the only thing you heard was a growl that was coming from Marv, of course Dodger knew that Marv wouldn't do anything and that he would be back on the street quicker then in a blink of an eye if Marv did anything to Dodger's car.
When Sarafina heard Dodger call them by their nicknames she couldn't help but raised a puzzle eyebrow at Dodger who called their son Ravi, Ravioli. Dodger was a strange guy, but she loved him, "I really hope Ravi has more of my personality then yours, I think i'll go nuts if I live with two snarky men." She said with a playfull yet, teasing expression on her face.

Pshhh, if it hadn't been for Dodger being in a peachy mood the day he went to the dog shelter, Marv wouldn't have the delightful life he had today. That's what you get when you name your dog after a little martian who was obsessed with world domination. Yes, Marvin the Martian was a lot like Marv the Boston Terrier in more ways than one. But either way, he had a soft spot for that dog even if he wanted it or not. It was cute, in that pain in the ass kind of way. "You're just lucky I adopted you and not some other, nicer dog." I knew I should have adopted that lab...at least he looked a little less insane. Like owner, like dog.
It wasn't his fault he got so much humor out of saying Ravioli, it was something he just couldn't resist. "Excuse me miss, but I'm an absolute angel."

Marv was the cutest little Boston Terrier there was, even if Dodger called Marv a pain the ass. Back when the two were still in high school she remebered Dodger locking Marv out somwhere since Dodger was an attention whore back then, and Dodger seem to get jelouse easly to when Marv got the attention it was kinda funny to see him get jelouse over a dog but Dodger is and would always be her number one guy he has been ever since they met eachother, she scoffed at Dodger's comment then looked at Marv "Don't listen to the old sourpuss, he's just grumpy cause i'm letting you sleep next to me and he has to stay on his side." Sarafina teased Dodger as she stroked Marv on the head, wondering what Dodger would do after the comment, in hopes that he would wrap his arms around her.
She couldn't help but look at Dodger after that "how he's an angel" comment "Besides the smartassness, all the pride, and loves giving me a hard time....Yeah you are." She said teasing him playfully.

Did she just.......Dodger smirked almost immediately after hearing Sassifrass refer to him as a sourpuss? An old one, to be a little more specific. He thought about shoving Marv off to the side...but that could have the exact opposite effect than what he wanted. Marv was hogging Sassifrass all to himself and was basking in the glory too. He was really a snot, an ornery little dog whose attitude was much too big for his body. "Me and Marv are no longer friends, he's stealing my woman." With a playful pout he rolled over onto his back, raising an eyebrow at the dynamic duo.
Obviously she didn't buy into the whole "Oh yeah, I'm a saint" routine and he really didn't expect her to believe that from day one. "I know I'm a little angel, and you loooooooooove me for it too." Dodger came to the conclusion that he would be rather boring if he wasn't such a pain in the ass. Where was the fun in minding the rules all the time when you could be breaking them?

Sarafina couldn't help but smirk as she continued to pet the little Boston Terrier on the head, she didn't get how Dodger could threaten that cute little face. A chuckle escaped her after she heard Dodger's comment about how Marv and him were no longer friends, she turned around and moved closer to Dodger so that her head was resting on his shoulder, she took his arm and placed it around her. This was her favorite place, being next to Dodger and wrapped in his arms "He's not stealing anything, you've already stolen me, Dodger." She said sweetly, kissing his neck moving closer to him.
"I like the devil side of you better." She said flirtatiously, kissing his lips lovingly, as she laid next to him.

Suuuuuure, Marv wanted everyone to believe that he had a little golden halo floating over his head and small angel wings. They've been over this before many, many times over and Dodger already made the assumption that nothing he could say would make Sassifrass believe any different. Maybe it was the sleep deprivation, but he snickered at her comment before rolling over onto his side to face her."I know I have. I just like giving Marvin over there a hard time." The fact that he named his dog after a cartoon character was purely coincidental, even though the short red Martian and Marv the dog did have a lot in common. They were small and sassy. Very sassy.
"You mean the speed demon, law breaking, sarcastic, pain in the ass side? Yeah, I like that side of me too." Hey, he just couldn't resist!

Sarafina will never understand the relationship that Marv and Dodger had, one day they would be playing, Marv would be laying in Dodger's lap, then the next the two hated eachothers guts. It was a very interesting relationship. She smiled at Dodger as he turned around and faced her, she loved those faded blue eyes of his, it seemed everytime she looked at them she got stuck in his eyes. Sarafina moved closer to him so that her head was resting against his chest.
"I love you." She said to him, as she gently kissed his neck.
