Sarafina Angela Moore & Ravi Tyler Moore Sarafina drove into the parking lot of the Elementary School, she walked up to the front of the school, she looked down at her watch 2:19 P.M. The school go out at 2:20, so just a minute and her six year old son would come running out eager to get home, and see his dad Dodger Moore. BRRRRRRRRIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGG Sarafina looked up to the school entrance seeing kids runing out to greet their parents. Sarafina saw a blonde boy running out, a smile appeared on Sarafina's face as the boy got closer and close, she squatted as the six year old boy ran into her arms wrapping his arms around his mom, "How was school?" Sarafina asked, "It was really boring. Ravi replied, Sarafina chuckled at Ravi's response, remembering how boring her Elementary school was boring as well, "Do you have any homework? Sarafina asked as she looked at her son, Ravi shook his head, "Alright, let's go home." As she stood up, Ravi took his mother's hand then started to walk with her towards her car. When they got closer to the car, Ravi let go of his mother's hand then got into the front passenger seat, quickly buckingling his seat belt, placing his backpack on his lap. Sarafina got into the driver seat of the '67 Gran Torino, started the engine and started to drive home. "Is daddy home?" Ravi asked, Sarafina loooked at her son with a smile on her face then looked back to the road. When Ravi was a baby he loved his daddy, when Ravi started crying Dodger would just pick him up hold him and he would be quiet, unless he was hungry of course, Sarafina would never forget how crazy Ravi went when he was in the womb and Dodger would put a hand on her stomach Ravi would go crazy it was a good relationship Dodger and Ravi had and hopefully it would stay that way. It was a fifthteen minute drive to two story house, Ravi noticed the Dodge Challenger that was parked in the driveway, he got gittery with excitement when the car parked in the driveway the front door opened and a familiar figure walked outside. A smile appeared on Ravi's face as he opened the car door, closing it behind him and ran to his dad with a smile on his face jumping into his father's arms. Sarafina smiled Ravi and Dodger as she got out of the car and leaned against the side of it for a little bit holding Ravi's backpack in her hand.

As he drove home, he couldn't help but remember the day he wrecked that ruby red Challenger with the black stripes. He remembered how he wore that neon green cast around Richmond High and by the end of the first week of having it, it was completely covered with random notes from friends. But now he has his blue Challenger, even though when he got home his priorities were a little different than they were in high school. He was still on the ornery side, that hadn't changed much but Richmond High had taught him a thing or too.
"Hey, stranger." He said, smiling at Sarafina. He saw Ravi's eager expression as he wrapped himself around his leg, looking up at Dodger with an excited grin. "So, how was your day at school?"

Ravi was somewhat like his face, except for the ornery way of course witch hopefully Sarafina's sake wouldn't happen for a long time or better yet not at all. Ravi wrapped himself around his father's leg since it was the only place that he didn't have to jump up to hug "It was really boring dad." As he looked up at his dad, Ravi knew he could trust his dad with anything, even though Dodger had his moments he was an obnoxious father but he was playfull about it, and to Sarafina that was what being a father was about it. Ravi let go of his father's arms as he heard a bark, "Beau! Marv!" Ravi exclaimed out in joy, as he ran into the house wrapping his arms around Beau who was now the headacho from the doorknob, down. Marv learned that the hard way when Beau was about three years old and twice the size of Marv but now there wasn't any problems.
Sarafina watched Ravi bolt into the house with a smile on her face she apporched Dodger "Hi there." She said placing a kiss on his lips, "How was your day?" She asked Dodger, before kissing him again.

Dodger's snarky little Boston Terrier Marv seemed to think he was just as big and tough as Beau, and he showed it too. The two dogs would be best friends one moment, and barking at one another the next. Dodger smirked at Ravi's response, of course school was boring. After he finished describing his day at school, the little bundle of energy burst through to be greeted by the two dogs.
Dodger smirked as he answered with her question the same way Ravi had answered his. "Insanely boring."

After saying hi to the dogs Ravi walked over to the fridge, opened it, got a CapriSun then closed it with his foot. After a few sips of his drink, a small yawn escaped him Ravi witch showed a sign he would be taking a nap soon he always did when he got home from school and he didn't have homework. Beau walked over to the kitchen following Ravi, Beau was like a personal babysitter wherever Ravi went, he went.
Sarafina smiled "I guess i'll have to make it unboring won't I?.......Come on babe. She said with a flirty smile, as she took his hand in hers then walked into the house looking at Ravi who was already having a drink.

Dodger smirked at Sarafina, and followed her inside. He tossed his keys up into the air and caught them in his palm, hanging them on the key rack as soon as he walked inside. That kid loved Capri Suns more than anything else on this Earth, and could drink them until he exploded. Dodger had the same addiction to snowcones, ever since he moved to Richmond they were all he could ever think about. He smiled at Ravi as he opened his straw, and stuck it into the pouch being careful not to poke a whole through the bottom of the pouch. "Sounds like a plan to me." He replied, smiling at Sarafina.
(FML...have to go do my laundry.)

Sarafina knew that smile on Dodger's face more then any other smile on his face, she closed the door beind Dodger as he walked in. Shaking her head with a smile on her at Dodger's little key stunt walks, into the hallway seeing Ravi enjoying a Capri Sun, god he loved those things, every time she went to the store Ravi would always ask for Capri Suns and everytime they got it. Sarafina saw that smile on Dodger's face as he responded, "Oh, i'm sure it does." She said as she walked past him winking at him. Ravi tossed the empty pouch in the trash then walked over to his father, "Daddy, can we go outside and play Catch for a little bit?" He asked with a grin on his face.

He leaned against the pantry door with a sly grin on his face. "Of course it does." Dodger took a drink of his Capri Sun, and it didn't take him very long to drink it all to the last drop. When he was done with it, he tossed it in the trash can the same time Ravi did. The two of them could wipe out an entire box before you could blink an eye and still want more. He had recently introduced Ravi to the addicting power of the snow cone, and they always got one after they would go to the park. Ravi just like riding around in the car, and the snow cone was just icing on the cake.
Dodger smiled at Ravi, who wanted to head outside for a little game of catch. "Sure, sounds like a good idea to me."

Sarafina looked at Dodger who had that sly grin on his face, she responded by playfully rolling her eyes at him. Sarafina had a great life here, of course there were the times where an argument would take place, but they never argued infront of Ravi. But the chances of an argument uproaring was slim to none, it was quiet rare for the yelling to happen, but it did somtimes. Sarafina smiled at Dodger as he agreed to play come catch with Ravi.
Ravi smiled "Yes." After his father agreed to play catach with him, he ran to the sliding glass door opening it then got a baseball mit that was resting on the bench, "Have fun boys. Sarafina said as Ravi walked out, then looked at Dodger "And you said being a dad was gonna tought. You basically got a mini-me right there." She said to Dodger playfully.

"Finally, someone who understands me and my car." Dodger replied with a smirk, slipping through the sliding doors. Ravi was already outside and reached for a baseball glove and some baseballs. He could already tell that Ravi was a sport loving kid, who wanted to try his hand at just about everything and anything. "Ready?" He asked with a grin.
(So...yeah...my muse died.)

Sarafina rolled her eyes at Dodger's comment, yes, he still had his smartass side after all these years but at least it got better after those years to. Ravi stood a few feet away from his dad hitting the mitt with his knuckles, Ravi had two favorite hobbies, learning about cars, and playing baseball. Ravi kept telling his dad that he would go to play in the pros and he was going to try his best and get there, "Yes." Ravi called out to his dad.
.~. Later that night .~.
It was ten thirty at night, Sarafina and Ravi were in bed while Ddoger was up doing something. Beau stood up then quietly walked out of the Sarafina and Dodger's bedroom, down the stairs then walked over to Dodger's side. After a few minutes Beau walked over to the door growling, then there was a knock on the door.

Dodger smirked at Sarafina over his shoulder as he followed Ravi outside, closing the screen door on his way out. Anytime he wanted to take the car to the wash, Ravi would be sitting in the shotgun before Dodger even walked out the door. The kid loved that car almost as much as Dodger did, which was saying a lot. After they threw the ball back and forth a couple times, Dodger treated Ravi to a ride in the car and their favorite flavor of snowcones.
Dodger wasn't getting any sleep tonight, something had been keeping him up all day and he'd given up on trying to keep his eyes shut. He snuck out of bed and went downstairs to flip through the channels until he eventually crashed. But before he was given the chance to, Beau came trotting down from the stairs and sat by his feet when a knock came at the door. Dodger didn't know what the time was, but it felt too late for someone to be coming around anyway. "...the hell." Dodger sat up and looked at Beau, who bolted towards the door, looking back at him as if he was trying to tell him to answer the door.

Sarafina turned in her sleep not knowing Dodger had snuck out of bed, but she still slept peacefully. Beau looked back at the door as another knock came from the door, he growled again, even though Beau was a loving, nice wolf, he still had his protective side, and when a someone came to door at ten thirty at night it was a "no bueno" to him. When Beau heard another knock on the door, he let out a threating growl almost getting ready to bark and wake the family up.

"Beau, try and keep it down!" Dodger shrugged, walking towards the door and opening it slightly to see who their visitor was. "Alan, what are you doing here?" He opened the door some more, careful to make sure that Beau didn't get the bright idea of running away to freedom or attacking Alan. Dodger hadn't seen or spoken to Alan in years, and he didn't understand how he managed to catch up with him after all those years. They met several years ago, back in Texas whenever Dodger was still a struggling wannabe musician with a bike instead of a car. Things sure have changed a lot since then.
"Come on, never mind the dog. He's all bark and no bite." Marv raised an ear at Alan, but didn't so much as move an inch as he lay comfortably on the couch. Beau on the other hand, was keeping a watchful eye on Alan.

Alan stood at the door quietly it was then he heard the sound of Dodger's voice, he could easily tell that Dodger was shocked to have found him after all these years, Alan had a talent for doing that, "How are you doing, Dodger?" Alan asked Dodger, the last time Alan saw him was when, Dodger was on his dad's old Ducati and working as a struggling musician, going around wherever he could just to get some money.
Alan took a quick look at Beau, who was just staring at him as if he was expecting Alan to due something. Beau followed Dodger over to couch then sat next to the couch watching Alan carefully, " Dodger, i'm sure you remember your father's company and I spoke with the board and they think your ready to take over the company now, that your done with college, of course we know your not going down your father's road so that's why we would like you to take over the company." Alan said. Alan may have found Dodger, but he obviously didn't know about Dodger being married and having a family.
Sarafina rolled over again placing a hand on where Dodger is supposed to do......she didn't feel any warmth. She opened her eyes to see Dodger not laying nex to her, " Dodger?" Looking around the room to see if he was just casually sitting somewhere, then she heard Dodger's voice, it sounded like he was talking to someone, she heard another male voice. She quietly got out of bed, then opened the bedroom door a little bit to get a better listen.
