He'd never been to Nevada before, or anywhere near it but he'd always wanted to. He just wanted to leave the state, it didn't really matter where he went as long as he was gone. As soon as they were back out into the sun, all he could think about was how amazing a snow cone sounded. When he was only just a pint sized kid, Dodger would raid the house for quarters to go buy a styrofoam cup full of shaved ice goodness. Those damn snow cones were going to be the death of him, sooner or later. "I've never been there, but it must get pretty damn hot out there."
"Unfortunately for me, I was born here and I've been stuck here ever since." He said with a smirk as they walked around the park.

"I wouldn't mind being born here, it seems like a great place then living out in the middle of nowhere Nevada. It seems like a really nice town. She said to Dodger with a smile on her face,"Trust me, it's not as hot as it here then it as Nevada. It's actualy kinda cooler here. She said as the crowd of people started to get smalller and smaller as they started to head towards the gate of Six Flags.
"So where are we going? She asked curiously, as she started to get excited on what he had planned for the the evening.
OCC: Sorry crappy post.

Dodger wasn't the type who fell easily for someone, but she was getting under his skin and he was loving every minute of it. Maybe it is too soon to tell for sure, but he wanted to make her his. "Yeah, it's not so bad. I would rather be here than home anyway." One thing he also hadn't done before was talk about his home life, because the last thing he wanted was to push his problems onto someone else who probably had problems of their own. Dodger was also too proud to admit he had issues of his own too. As they walked towards the gate, he reached into his pocket and grabbed the keys to his Ducati and tossed them around in his palms. "I don't see how you could survive the desert." He replied, looking at her with a mischievous smile. "So I was thinking we could catch a movie or something, surely there's something good out." Too bad there wasn't a good zombie movie out, because he'd be all over that idea. If there was something he couldn't live without, it was a damn good George A. Romero movie and some popcorn. "You gotta have some Cotton Eyed Joe's snow cones too, they're my drug." Dodger looked at her with a smirk.

Sarafina was always afraid of being in another relationship after what she experitanced with her last relationship with her current ex-boyfriend Tommy, after going to a party and finding him with another girl having drunk sex with her. But there was something about Dodger that made that flame spark inside her, he seemed different from the other guys who she had met from other friends. Sarafina smiled at his comment,"I'm not a big fan of being home myself. She said softly looking at him. She followed him out the gates of Six Flags then towards the parking lot, she couldn't help but laugh at his comment about how she could survive the desert, "It's honestly not that bad, I like it. Smiling at him sweetly, she watched him take out the keys as they apporched a nice looking Ducati.
"A movie sounds fun. She said with smiled on her face, she couldn't believe that she was going somewhere with a guy that was as good looking as Dodger, "I guess i'll have to go give that one a try. She said playfully.

"Looks like we've got something in common then." He replied with as a smile as she told him that there were a million places she would much rather be than at home. The only reason he got a job here was to keep himself away from his dad and out of the house, his presence seemed to wear down on his dad's nerves anyway. He was doing them both a favor by being away from the house for entire days. "Maybe that desert heat fried your brain a little." Being out here could make anyone feel a little delirious, but he couldn't help but tease her some as she admitted to liking the dry desert climate. Hot weather was just another excuse to throw on a swimsuit and jump into the closet pool.
"Trust me, it'll change your life." He told her with a grin.

"It looks like we do. She said with a sweet smile on her face, before looking away blushing slightly. He was really starting to like him but the problem was, she didn't live here she lived in Nevada and she didn't know when she was going back but she was starting to like Dodger, she never met anyone like him before, sweet, charming and very easy on the eyes. A sweet laugh escaped her at his next comment, " If it where to frie my brain I think the ice cream in the bowl wouldn've beaten it to it." Looking at him again, with a sweet smile on her face, smiles as they get closer to the Ducati.
"Is it yours? It's really nice. She said looking it over.

"It was my dad's, but he never took care of it so I kind of made it my summer project." The bike was a complete mess when he unearthed it in the old tool shed. It was missing a tire, desperately needed some new paint, and was covered with cobwebs and dust. It didn't look anything like it used to, which made him pretty damn proud of himself for sticking with it for that long. As much as the bike itself was worth, he wouldn't sell it even if you offered him a car as much as he wanted one. Dodger picked up the helmet and handed it to her, waiting for her to take her seat.
His senior year of high school had been one trip to the principal's office after another. Looks could be deceiving, but Sarafina didn't exactly look like the kind of girl who drove around looking for trouble like he did. He didn't do it alone though, there was always Kaleb whose middle name might as well be trouble. Dodger used to be a good kid...but being good was only fun for so long.

Sarafina looked at the bike sure it needed a little work but it was still nice, "Well, trust me when I say it's in better condition then the ones i've seen, even though Ducati's are all beautiful in their own way. Just like people, they're beautiful in their own way. She said looking back at Dodger, as he held out the helmet to her. She gently took it from him putting it on, then sitting behind him.
Bites down on her bottom lip nervously as she slowly reached out and placed her hands on his sides. She knew that it was probably strange for him, but then again she needed something to hold on and he was the only choice she had to hold on to something.

Oh well, at least it gave him something to work on. "I keep telling myself one of these days I'll buy a car. Of course, I've been saying that for years." He replied with a half-smile, shrugging his shoulders at the idea. Did dad seemed to think it was a pretty damn funny idea when he brought it up at dinner a few weeks ago. But at least his dad was sober enough to sit down and eat something that wasn't a liquid. Dodger sighed and looked at the Ducati, at least it got him where he needed to go. "I suppose you're right." He'd never heard anyone compare a bike to a person, but maybe she was onto something here.
"I don't bite, I promise." Dodger couldn't help but smile as she hesitated.

She couldn't help but chuckle at his last comment about how he doesn't bite, she placed her hands around him blushing a bit. She never thought she would have this much fun coming to Texas and meeting a good looking guy like Dodger, she looked over at the park witch seemed so full of life, was starting to die down cause of closing time. It was going to be pretty interesting how this trip would turn out now that Dodger was in picture, and know that they were going to the movies it seemed like a new friendship was forming between them.
