 « Journal Entry [One] »December the 15th, 2011. Well diary, today was my first day at Richmond High. I have never, ever, ever felt like such a nervous wreck than I did trying to navigate the buildings to get to my classes. I've been the new kid before, I'm no stranger to the feeling of isolation and being instantly labeled for what others perceive you to be. But when I have my nose stuck in a book, blurring out the outside world isn't so hard. In fact, it's quite easy. My dorm is all furnished and all of my clothes are sitting neatly in my closet, and now that I'm all moved I think I'll spend my weekend relaxed in the local coffee shop.
On the bright side, Christmas is ten days away. Even if that means another awkward family gathering...
