Appearance: She's a plain Jane, pretty in her own sense although she refuses to look at herself as an attractive young lady. Shae isn't a big fan of wearing too much makeup or spending a lot of time with her hair, which usually leaves her with a messy ponytail and her gym shorts. Her eyes are a chocolate brown, almost the exact same color as her hair that goes down her back in curly waves. Shae's self esteem isn't very high and most of her talents are kept to herself, except for soccer. That seems to be the only thing she knows how to do without having a nervous breakdown while doing it. She has no outstanding features, but was blessed with clear skin and straight teeth that never needed the assistance of braces. Her height and weight are both average, one of the shorter girls on the soccer team.
Personality: Shae is the kind of girl who always has her nose stuck in a book, usually a fantasy or science fiction book. Shy and almost melancholic, her close friends are few and far in between and she prefers to keep to herself. Group projects never fail to give her hell and the only people she really feels okay with are the soccer players, however, she's terrified of being second best or to be compared with someone else. She doomed herself as "forever alone." Just the thought of going out on a date or asking a guy out gives her the butterflies.
Likes:
- The punk music scene, even though she feels out of place listening to that kind of music.
- Making art, which usually includes drawing and painting. You'll never see her without her handy dandy sketchbook.
- Old school horror movies.
- Playing soccer.
- Learning how to play instruments, although she's only good at the piano and violin.
Dislikes:
- Her inferiority complex, which keeps her from bracing out to other social groups at school.
- Being labeled as a "loner."
- Not having any real friends, because she's too shy to try talking to people.
- Feeling intimidated.

History: Born and raised as a California native, Shae O'Connor was born to a middle-class working couple who lived in a two bedroom apartment in San Diego. For the first few years of her education, her family moved several times until finally setting up a permanent residence in Richmond. It was the perfect town for her, a bigger city with all the small town charm that she felt so comfortable with. A keen musician and soccer player, Shae spent most of her middle school life playing for several little league soccer teams and teaching piano as a side job to earn extra money. When she finally raised enough money to buy a car, she convinced her parents to enroll her in Richmond High. Anxious about leaving home and leaving to live in a dorm, she was excited to start a life for herself.
