EVELYNALEXISGALLANT!?
Hey! I go by Taylor. I am eighteen and I'm loving it. I have been roleplaying for seven years and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I have no other characters on this site and I think they're pretty amazing! If you want to contact me you can by pm.
Name: Evelyn Alexis Gallant
Nickname: Ev, Evie
Age: nineteen
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Playby: Julliane Hough
Member Group: regular civilian
Appearance: One of the most distinctive features that Evelyn has would probably be her hair. The blonde, wavy curls have the tendency to stand out in a crowd. They’re also usually very unruly and full of too much volume. In length, her hair falls a few inches past her shoulders and has never been cut any shorter than that. Another distinctive feature would be Evelyn’s eyes. They’re a very bright blue; especially when she’s out in the sun or any other form of bright light. On most days, a thin line of black, winged liner surrounds them
Most of Evelyn’s other characteristics are fairly normal, boring even. She has slightly tanned skin that stays the same color no matter how much time she spends out in the sunshine. Evelyn is a pretty tiny girl, standing at five foot three inches. She's not very curvy, either. This makes her feel slightly awkward and self conscious in her body at times.
Evelyn likes to keep her wardrobe pretty simple. She doesn’t enjoy standing out in crowds; she would rather fade into the back. Usually she’ll wear a sweatshirt and skinny jeans or a tee shirt and shorts. Any combination of the four articles of clothing works perfectly for her. Evelyn has always been more interested in her hair and make up than in her clothing.
Personality: Evelyn is very hard working. Although she tends to be quite shy at times, she is very friendly. She likes to pride herself in her advice giving skills. Being friendly goes along with being loyal. It’s hard for Evelyn to open herself up to other people, so she wouldn’t want to lose that friendship.
Once she opens herself up to a person, her sarcastic side shows. She has a fairly good sense of humor and when she’s with her friends, she knows how to laugh at herself. Around strangers though, that ability completely disappears. Embarrassment occurs then. Evelyn is kind to almost everybody she meets and that makes her very naive. She’s used to having positive interactions with people, she is very unsure of how to deal with negative ones.
There is only one thing that really sets off her temper, when people call her rude names. Evelyn has spent a lot of time and effort building up her self confidence. She still hardly has any and she likes to defend what she does have. When she is called a rude name or if somebody talks down to her, it’s almost like a new person takes over. She lets the person know exactly how she’s feeling about what they’ve done and doesn’t back down. It’s a side of her that never usually makes itself known.
When it comes to relationships, Evelyn is very lacking in experience. She feels very pathetic about it, being nineteen years old and not even having her first kiss, but she doesn’t know what to do about it. The moment she gets close to a boy, she backs away because she’s afraid of disappointing him. It's one of many things that she wants to change about herself. As of now, she simply doesn't know how.
Likes: owls, coffee, sunshine, boys, family, reading, music, dancing, sweatshirts, fuzzy hats or gloves, anything pink, make up, clothing.
Dislikes: flirting, cooking, violence, snakes, spiders, being talked down to, coffee, waiting, heartbreak, bad hair days
Mother: Amy Gallant, forty-two, nurse
Father: Gary Gallant, forty-three, mail man
Siblings: none
Pets: a black french bull dog named Dobby
History: Growing up in a small southern town, all Evelyn ever wanted to do was see the world. She dreamed of going places where not a single person would know her name. Nobody would know that her mother left her father when she was ten. Or that she had been out a little too late with a boy. She wanted to take care of herself and make her own decisions. So she worked like crazy, raising enough money to head out to California once she graduated from high school.
Although it was incredibly terrifying at first, she was quick to find an apartment to live in. Work was fairly easy to find, too.Now a year later, she has made a pretty good life for herself. At this point she's deciding what she wants to do. Go to school? Find a higher paying job? She isn't sure but she's hoping to figure it out soon. No matter how happy she may be, she wants much more out of life. She just has to figure out what exactly that entails!

Roleplay Post
A bell rang as the blonde entered the small, crowded coffee shop. She pulled her sunglasses off of her face and tossed them into her bag. They were five or six dollars, she wasn't too worried about them getting broken. Her purse was a mess on the inside anyways, nicely putting them inside would have done nothing for them. It would take her five minutes to find them either way. Evelyn always said that she would clean out her purse one day, but then she always found better things to do.
Standing in line now, her eyes scanned the menu, trying to decide what she was going to order. Evelyn wasn't exactly the coffee drinking type, but after a night that consisted of more tossing and turning than it did sleeping, some caffeine was definitely needed to get her through her classes later on that day.
Despite it's size, the line moved fairly quickly and before she really had time to decide, it was Evelyn's turn to order. "Hi, uh... could I have a medium iced coffee, please? And could I have some caramel put into it also?" She was a big caramel fan and figured that it could possibly make her drink taste better. After giving her name and paying, she moved down to the other side of the counter, where she waited with a few others for her drink.
After a few seconds of searching, she pulled her cell phone out of her purse. With a quick check of the screen, she noticed that she still had an hour and a half until her classes started. She absolutely hated that she left so early each day, but she never wanted to be late for a class. So she just had to keep herself busy until it was time. The hard part was figuring out what to do...
