Tam absently slipped a hand through her hair, eyeing the ends distrustfully before her gaze flittered back over to the window, resisting the urge to let out the strangled sigh that threatened her lips. She was pretty sure she saw this kid at least once a day, she thought as she finally concentrated on the frizzy haired kid before her...it was nearly her lunch too...she shifted slightly, resting her chin on her hand. She'd tried, really she had, in fact for the most part it was safe to say she was quite good her job...albeit she had been instructed on several occasions to tone down the sex talks by the head...and her advice was a little 'unconventional'...but she hadn't had any complaints thus far!
This kid though, this kid would the bloody end of her.
"Look you know what, if your boyfriends really that bad, go sleep with his best friend! go out looking like a slapper for a change! You have tits and legs, use them!" The girl simply looked at her for a moment, the snivelling stopping and Tam took great advantage of the lull in sobbing to bring it to a swift conclusion. "Here, have a lollipop...and some condoms...oh good heavens and would you look at the time! I suppose you'll be wanting to go now,"
Whether she wanted to go or not she had soon been guided to the door which was promptly closed. Hmm...well that was simple. Tam happily moved across her small opposite to her beloved mirror...well...mirrors, she liked 'accidentally' catching sight of herself, after all the reflection was decidedly pleasing and she at least, greatly enjoyed it. Humming to herself as she ran her fingers through her hair once more, wiping away the teeniest smudge of lipstick before returning to the small coffee table, picking up her various notes, bits of paper and folders before moving across the room and out the door. The school felt different from the view of a teacher, it was always somewhat amusing to watch repeats Abd replays of her own time there and she was glad she'd stayed. Sure she'd never actually envisioned working, sitting in a huge villa with servants waiting on her having been more the right sort of thing but she supposed it could have been worse, she had an amazing place...even if tensions were ridiculously high at home.
She reached the staff room after taking a little longer route (mostly to avoid the classroom of one of the teachers she was pretty sure she'd slept with...), settling herself down with a cup of tea after sending a few greetings here and there, pulling out a magazine and relaxing.
OOC: Sorry it took so long xD I'll try and remember to edit it when l commundeer my laptop back :P

Adam was grading several sheets of papers from his classes. So far this year’s students were learning and getting everything he was teaching down. The class wasn’t that hard Adam believed, but of course to him, it was simple because he designed it himself. The class circled around dealing with different relationships that these young Demigods’ had to deal with other Demigods, Humans, and God’s themselves; most of his students were freshman Demigod’s but from time to time he had a few older Students, and had a few students come to him on a daily basis to ask him things about how to cope with being a Demigod filled with mortal beings, and some of the questions they ask were things Adam would never thought about before, things that he has made part of his Class curriculum, and so when Ruth came in crying. Adam thought that she had troubles with a few other of the Demigod’s or even her Heavenly parent, but when Adam finally got Ruth to calm down and talk to him without going into another crying frenzy and she explained that she finished speaking to one of the consolers and opened her hand to show him the contents in it. Adam knew it only had to be one person and one person only.
After reassuring Ruth that everything will be okay, and not to sleep with her boyfriend’s best friend and just talk with him. He was off to find the culprit of this child’s state she was in now and since she was not in her office. Adam tracked her to the Teacher’s Lounge where she was sitting having tea by herself. Adam looked around the Teacher’s Lounge and noted a few Teachers grading papers, and others talking to one another, and thought an outburst of, “what the hell” would be the best of actions. So Adam took a deep breath and took off hisblue suit jacket leaving only him wearing a black V-neck shirt and black slacks, and draped the jacket on the back of the chair across from Tamara and took a seat himself. Placing one leg over the other resting one hand on his knee; sighing deeply as he pinching the bridge of his nose; before speaking to his friend Tamara. “Tam, could you explain how telling a child to go sleep with her boyfriend’s friend to get even will solve anything. In fact that would cause more trouble. Sleeping with people doesn’t solve everything.”

Tam hummed to herself absently and she flicked through the pages, pausing on one before wrinkling her nose and continuing. Seemed like such a long time since she'd set foot in Gucci...she didn't even quite have to guts to walk past it, preferring to take detours instead. She sighed before taking a sip of her tea. She was however interrupted from her reflections by the arrival of another person.
She turned, smiling broadly until her expression faltered into a slight frown as he spoke. 'Sleeping with people doesn't solve everything?'...what was this guy on? In Tam's world, everything was straight forward and set into neat categories, there was the 'ooo he looks good, I'll do him!' then the 'he cheated on me? Me?! I'll kill him...or just sleep with his best friends' or, when the occasion called for it, the 'I. Will. Kill. You', or the 'I do not need this, I am just generally better than you in every way. I am gorgeous, I'm Tamara flipping George'...and then a whole load of other categories...although, that said in reality, very few of the major events in her life had fitted perfectly into any...
"Says the person who makes Mother Theresa look like a hooker," She teased with a wink and a grin before continuing.
"Anyway, sex has always worked for me, I slept with one of the governors to get this job, I slept with the mayor ages ago and none of my parking fines have ever come through, one of the really good thing about being an Aphrodite kid, I mean people say we have no powers other than being ridiculously hot but we do! I mean I'm such a good shag people are so eager to have another go they'd do anything," She said pleasantly, not at all perturbed by the fact that by most people's standards that was far too much information.
"Anyway, I'm guessing you're talking about Ruth. She's a pretty girl. she could get a decent guy if that idiot didn't make her think she was so hideous all the time, he doesn't appreciate her, she should show him that she is wanted and generally doesn't give a crap about him," She said lightly before taking another sip of her tea.

“I won’t say that too proudly Tamara, or openly in that matter.” Adam responded grumpily about her… ways, but like she said she is a daughter of Aphrodite, sex, lust, beauty was literary in her blood. “Tamara, you might have trouble remembering this everyone are not you. You might be able to live with yourself afterward, but others aren’t as….. Fortunate.” Adam seemed to be reminding Tamara, as he complete disregarded her comment about the Holy figure that was Mother Theresa. He was beginning to worry about the future of the kids and Tamara in fact as a figure for others to come to and thought he might have word about her position with the head Master, and if he had to go over the head Master to get some results he would, but when Tamara spoke about Ruth and her situation. Adam gained a glimpse that maybe Tamara might be cut out for the job in her own way.
“If you could see that Tamara why didn’t you just tell Ruth that instead of committing her to an act that might ruin her mentally, and socially for the rest of her life?” Adam asked blatantly, already coming to the conclusion she did in her own Tamara way. So Adam racked that one up as a lost and changed the subject swiftly to a subject that his mind has rested on a bit since he learned of it. His eye’s drifted to what portion of Tamara’s abdominal that was showing above the table. His eye’s shifted up to Tamara’s,
“How’s the baby?” Adam spoke more in a hush tone, not knowing if Tamara didn’t want the others not to know quite yet. Even though he knew almost surely that the baby wasn’t his. He still cared for the unborn child just like he cared for her or his mother. It was in his nature to care for Tamara in general. Somehow she snuck through his barriers and found and wedged a place in his heart, and that was where she was going to stay.

"You shouldn't worry so much,," Tam laughed with an eye roll.
"I tried telling her but there's no point trying to drill it in if they're not ready to hear it, it's just I saw them in the corridors and he obviously likes her, she'd be getting one over on that git and getting with a decent guy, don't underestimate me darling, I may look completely blonde but I'm not," She teased although she paused with his next enquiry, her gaze automatically slipping down as her hand lightly moved to touch the small bump she'd purposely covered with decidedly more loosely fitting clothes than usual.
She made a bit of a face and a shrug, sobering ever so slightly.
"Alright I guess, dunno quite what I'm going to do yet, money's going to be a bit tight I think but I'll manage," She chuckled although she couldn't help how she chewed on her bottom lip. After getting over the initial shock it was more a case of practicalities than instant raging emotions and tears.

Adam rolled his own eyes at the subject of Ruth, and since he didn’t know how Ruth’s relationship life was going with her boyfriend and his friend and took Tamara’s word on this one, but Adam found it a bit oxymoron that he would have a class strictly on Demigod’s relationships, but not have a clue about any of these student’s relationships outside of class unless they came to him. He made a mental note to investigate friendly of course into each student’s relationships and lives and see how they all were. This new task Adam was going to take most of what he called free time up, and since he didn’t really have a social life other than Tamara for the most part. He was fine with that.
Adam noted Tamara’s shifting of state if you will, and noticed her biting of her lip. “I can help you know Tamara you don’t have to ask or worry about that. Since the father doesn’t want to be around…..” Adam paused considering something he hadn’t thought of before but didn’t know how to quite ask the question, and after a moment rolled by without him saying anything he thought what the hell, and asked anyway. “Do you at least know who the father is right?” Hoping that he wasn’t the father himself; since becoming friends with Tamara the two had a best friend’s/ yin yang relationship. He tried to keep her out of trouble for the most part when he could, and she tried to drag him into it. Some of their adventures he had to admit where fun. When he could remember them, and his fear was that one of those escaped memories might have been the trigger for her bun in the oven, and that kind of scared Adam shitless, but somewhere deep down, very deep down. He hoped he was, he hoped that Tamara’s child might very be his own flesh and blood, and even if it wasn’t he would still love it like it was his own. Just like he his love for Tamara.

Tam sighed, leaning back in her seat, cupping her mug between her hands as she took another sip. Ugh, she'd completely run out of her usual tea bags and had had to resort to the horrifyingly awful local stuff which, whichever way you looked at it, was not the same as the stuff that she got back home.
"Of course I know who the father is," She said flatly.
"I'm not THAT irresponsible...and it's not that he doesn't want to be around, it's just...complicated...really complicated and the less involvement he has, the better," She couldn't help but snap. She knew it wasn't his fault, of course he didn't know and he obviously cared, she cared about him too, it was just the fact that her moods continued to swing between bitterness, misery and elation at the whole thing and she couldn't quite decide which to feel.
"I'm sorry," She mumbled somewhat grudgingly. Apologies had never been much of a strong point.
"I just always thought that if I ever did have kids, it'll all be done properly, you know, settled down and married and stuff but...well, I guess not," She shrugged.

Adam raised one of his hands above the table and with a small wave of his hand and a shake of his head dismissed the snapping. Adam understood perfectly well what she was going through. His mother went through it as well several times with his Half Brothers and Sisters. In fact he was prepared for it really, but not her apology afterward. Those came rare and in-between for Tamara, but Adam still tucked it any in his mind to pull out later for a joke, but after listening to his friend about her predicament he was glad that at least she knew who the father was and it wasn’t him. A wave of relief that Adam hide pretty damn well if he had to say for himself on the outside washed over him internally, but see Tamara’s reaction about the dealing of the father. He knew she wasn’t completely okay with it, from his point of view anyway. “Tamara we’re the Sons and Daughters of the Olympic Gods and Goddesses, you the Daughter of the Goddess of love. Nothing is proper or set in stone for us.” Adam responded in a hushed but encouragingly tone to his young friend, without trying to patronized Tamara.
“I think you’ve done a great job so far compared to some of the other students, and other Demigod’s running around here.” Adam muttered reaching out across the table and with his height and reach it was a simple task of patting Tamara’s hands that were cuddling the her mug of tea. Adam also avoided without getting into details of the mess that some of the students did in fact get into. By right he really could speak about it with anyone of the other teachers and parents if he wanted, but Adam lived by a set of rules all of his own, and found it an betray to his students if he did in fact spilled the beans about their business, and besides. Adam has heard the stories about Tamara’s own golden days in high school and he knew that Tamara could fill in the blink for herself.
“Besides it could always be worse, you could be like me and your careers are your main love of your life, and have nothing else. No kids, no loved ones, no secret scandals that could make or break you, but just a normal teacher’s life.” Adam offered a bit of a jab to his friend, and about himself. It was known pretty well that Adam had no life outside of the School other than his Training that he undergoes, and Coaching. That’s why some Teachers found it kind of acquired to approach Adam from time to time, and some of his peers that saw him today would not recognize him because of the complete 180 difference from how he once was when he filled the shoes of that of a student.

Tam laughed.
"For once even I don't think this is something I can really blame on either of my parents, my mother or any other divine intervention. It's just me, royally mucking things up," She chuckled. "And if that were you true, couples like Bear and Becca wouldn't exist, he's a kid of bloody Ares and he manages stability...even if I didn't want him to," She said, muttering the last bit into her mug. She had pretty much gotten over him by that point, considering he now had a kid to worry about and had mellowed quite drastically. She was pretty glad the whole thing was over now at any rate, heart break was nowhere near as glorious a thing as all the songs, poems, books and movies made it out to me.
"Plus, they've got a lot to learn and I've probably made every single one of their mistakes on a far greater scale and offended a million more people," She laughed, running a hand through her hair. "Takes skill you know, I must say," She teased although gave a great snort as he pulled upon his love of work and lack of social life.
"Hmmm, that would be pretty crap although you're lying because you're forgetting that I love you really," She beamed playfully, "And if you really like, I could always russle up a scandal or two," She smirked, sending him a wink.
"But seriously, you can't have always been this bloody boring, what were you like at school?" She asked curiously.

“Tu Sha,” Adam Humbly retorted to Tamara’s view on Demigod’s defying what was set before them by their Celestial parent figure and there example in life wither it would be negative or positive, Adam himself could testify to that. When the subject came to Bear. Adam barely picked up on the bear comment as Tamara closed in on her mug, and since Tamara didn’t pick back up on the subject; he let it drop. Adam learned that lesson long time ago, when Tamara and their friendship first started to blossom, and so when the subject changed to him, and Tamara caught him off guard with the love comment. It took every ounce of his being not to blush like a school boy in front of his crush, or cough uncontrollable. The only sign of change and victory to Tamara was that of Adam looking away finding something interesting to look at out the closet window and dropped his leg from its resting position on top of the other and shift in his chair and hopefully she bought it as him pondering her offer. It was very tempted offer since it was sometime since Adam had a date or even a one night stand, and if it was Tamara he would have agreed, maybe not on the spot, but he would still agree, but he simple played it, “Cool” and responded with, “ I’ll think about it.”
Adam couldn’t resist the faintest of smiles when Tamara asked about his past, and memories like on command came rushing back with all the dangerous, trouble, fun, rebellious things Adam and his friend’s pulled when they were in school here.
“ Let’s just say if you were born a little earlier and came up during the grades with me or vice versa. You might have liked me better.” Adam gave Tamara at least that much information about his younger self, but as frosting on the cake. His eye’s found Tamara’s the reflection of his usually calm, collected; mature, simmering blue eyes were replaced with eyes of a much younger, rash, eager, burning flames of Adam’s youth, “ And that bun in the oven might just be mine instead of some other guys,” And just like that it was gone. The flash of youth was replaced once more like it wasn’t in fact there if you didn’t notice them. You would have been staring into the eyes of a man that’s seen, and done so much for the to achieve the position he had right now and in his pursuit to help these youth in this school now. So much so he won’t risk anything to going back to his old ways if it came to trying to help these kids…. Well almost anything or really to say anyone.

Tam laughed.
"Think about it? Seriously? That's the whole point idiot, you're not supposed to think about it. Hmm...look, over there, woman with the dark hair, she's single, pretty and even pretty decent too," She beamed leaning in slightly as she dropped her voice to ensure that only he'd hear.
"Just make sure you don't find anyone too pretty because you know I'll end up jealous," She laughed as she settled back into her original comfier position, picking up her mug again, draining the last of it when she choked slightly, laughing as she turned to him.
"Jesus Adam," She laughed, flicking a bit of tea off her hand.
"Although I am a sucker for a bad boy and if I'd still been a senior when you started you seriously would have had to watch out," She snorted, her lips quirking slightly. "Gah, responsibility sucks otherwise, nothing like pregnancy to put you off but you know any other time we so would have had a decent time," She laughed, moving her chin onto the palm of her hand as she smiled softly at him, watching the childish glimmer in his eyes.

Adam smiled playfully and shrugged at Tamara’s first comment about him thinking about thinking about going on a date. It was in his nature as of child of not only Apollo but another Demigod who is a Daughter of Athena, but Tamara already knew that fact about Adam. There were very few Demigod’s that had both sides of their family that some God blood running in them, “Sorry I got landed with a double whammy of Thinking before doing, so sue me,” And as for the women she was alright to Adam’s eye but she wasn’t Tamara even though the two were friends. Adam had feelings for the women and his dropped hints, but she he guessed didn’t pick up on them or ignored them and continued to simply be friends. Whichever the case Adam was good with either choice, he just hoped if it was Tamara’s choice to be friends then it won’t be smitten with her still and have one of those love triangles pitfall he avoided back in High school, and like the two were on similar wavelengths; when Tamara spilled the little fact that if the two might have hit it off great if the two had gone to High school at the same time, and that’s what produced Adam’s next idea. “Well we can still have a good time now, what about dinner at your place. This week or the next, let’s just see how dinner goes and see where things lands us.” Adam offered leaning forward with his palms held up let the choices of dinner was there. “You said it yourself don’t thinking about. Come on what’s the worse can happen?” Adam smiled with his innocent boy ploy and using Tamara’s own logic against her, to see if that could seal the deal.
Occ- There tied in the Dinner thread.

Tam gave a laugh.
"Christ Adam, go ahead, invite yourself round!" She teased. "Plus you know you're allowed round any time, I'll cook something nice, ooo! Did I tell you I cooked the other day and someone said it actually tasted good AND asked for seconds? Pretty impressive I must say, I mean seriously, I don't know how any guy could not want me I'm so bloody amazing I astound myself," She said displaying that usually modesty and selflessness she always did.
"We should do that thing, you know! Like when we have one night a week where you cook or I cook," She said excitedly, moving round in her seat so that she was facing him fully.
OOC: Ah good idea xD Btw Tam really is just oblivious but I was thinking we should probs still just have them as friends in the dinner thread? Just for funsies xD Plus then we have more freedom in the next thread instead of fixing it here :P

“That’s a deal as long as I’m doing the cook; I’ll wait until that person comes out of the hospital and tell me about it.” Adam kidded rippling on top of the table with his knuckles playfully, before checking his watch, and grumbled a little under his breath.
“I’m going to have to get back to my class soon before the Track Team gets in there. We’re get our game plan set now that way, we have more training to fit in during the season.” Adam explained with a heavy sigh as he scudded his seat back and stood and place the seat back. Adam wasn’t always like this when it came to Track team, just like his love for his Teaching position he loved being the head Coach for the School, even though he just took the position because one of his students came to him explaining that if they didn’t find a coach soon they would have to terminated the team all together. The reason for his grumbling was because of his time with Tamara, he enjoyed these little moments of friendships and sit downs with her, but when she started to pester him about things that got under his skin or another scandal she got herself into and needed his help to get out. He happily took on other task that drew him away from the Daughter of Aphrodite. Adam walked over to Tamara’s side and placed one hand on Tamara’s chair an offer to help her up as he asked, “Do you want me to walk you back to your office. That way we can talk about Dinner and who else I can and cannot date alone, which I believe that list will spill over to after we both get off and we’re on our way to some store that caught your fancy. How dead on am I? It’s freaky right?” Adam beamed at his show of how well he knew his female friend.

"I didn't put them in hospital! They had appendicitis, it just happened to flare up after eating," Tam sniffed indignantly, giving him a playful nudge before she gave a pout.
"You want to leeeaaave me...ooo the track team...you know when I was at school I shagged every member of the track team...and the basketball team...the hockey team just felt wrong because my brother was in it and the captain, he always took his hockey thing so seriously, so I decided that 'distracting them' wasn't such a good idea," She babbled as he helped her to her feet.
"Anyway, I like this idea, really my only things are that you're not allowed to have a girl prettier than me, that means absolutely none of my sisters...or my brothers...I swear to god I would ring your neck, as far as you know, I'm the only Aphrodite kid in the world and the sun shines out of my arse, I mean I don't see how you could ever even think of doing one of my relatives, it's just wrong, you should be ashamed of yourself!" She cried, throwing her hands up in the air, her speech apparently having switched to being theory to a full on accusation despite the fact that she was pretty sure he hadn't got with any of her siblings...
