Lily sat on the waters edge, thinking. She felt so out of place here. Richmondhigh was better than her old school, but she was one of the only new students. Everyone already had their friends, and groups the hung out with. Her problem was she wasnt very social. She was quiet, kept to herself, had a few close friends, and that was it. She wasnt one to go up and introduce herself to someone. It was just so hard for her. She was on the shy side, and not very outgoing.
She stared out at the fading sun, its last rays disappearing behind the horizon. She knew she needed to get back to her dorm soon, but part of her didnt want to leave. She rested her head on her knees, still deep in thought.
