[/center]Hey! I go by Kat Martinez. I am thirteen as I'm writing this, but will turn fourteen in less than two months and I'm loving it. I have been role playing for two-three years and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I have no other characters on this site and I think they're pretty amazing! If you want to contact me you can by private message.
Name: Katerina Taylor Martinez
Nickname: Kat, Katty, Kattie-Kat, K
Age: sixteen
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight,
Playby: Korey Cooper
Member Group: Demigod sophomore of Apollo.
Appearance: Kat is obviously Hispanic. Her skin is olive toned and rarely burns but, rather, tans. Her hair comes to just past her breasts and straight or slightly fluffy. Her hair is black but has blue streaks in it. Her hair is cut into long layers and side-bangs. Despite her mom's side of the family, who all have brown eyes, Kat inherited her father's electric blue. She's some-what short for her age (4'9'')but she makes up for it in attitude. She's also rather skinny as she is bulimic (only, 110 lbs).
Kat prefers the punk rock/rebel look. She always wears a concert t-shirt or a dark shirt with jeans (Skinny, straight leg, regular ect...) or shorts or some sort of pants. She doesn't like dresses but for a special occasion she'll wear some punk-y dress. Kat's only make-up is eyeliner, foundation and mascara.
Personality: Kat is very much like her dad personality-wise. Kat loves music and often sings in local talent shows, or at some karaoke place. She enjoys drama (the acting kind not the other kind) and writing. Kat is anti-social and doesn't like crowded places. She thinks she had claustrophobia. But she does have a few friends but like her, they don't like being around people. She doesn't think highly of love and finds it damaging. So in short she hasn't dated any-one in a while. Despite how confident she looks, she's actually terrified of making a fool of herself and when stressed or after eating, Kat makes herself barf. Kat loves writing fiction/realistic fiction but only reads her depressing stories to her friends. She is in drama club and enjoys being up there on stage, whether it's singing or acting. Kat is also fiercely independent and hates being told she can't do something or being dependent on some-one. She is also known for her short temper and getting into fights.
Likes: Loud music, writing, acting, drama club, punkiness
Dislikes: Love songs, classical music, cheerleaders, love, barfing, being told she can't do something.
Mother: Hannah Martinez, 40, manager of a music store
Father: Apollo, pretty old, flying the sun chariot, writing bad poetry etc.
Siblings: Nonexistent
Pets: a pet mole named Torpedo (Torpedo currently lives in a tank filled with dirt in Kat's room),and a possum named Gorge (Gorge currently lives in her back yard)
History: Kat grew up in San Fransisco until last year. She had always know about her dad, ever since the age of 10. Of course that caused some resentment. Sure, she wouldn't have been so upset if he had shown up to any of her plays, or concerts or even given her a birthday card. But he hadn't so she pretty much says that she doesn't have a dad. She moved over to the school last year in the middle of the year. She made some friends who were like her personality wise but doubted any of them knew about demigods. Kat grew up around music because her mom managed a music store and Kat had always been there to help.

Roleplay Post
Kat couldn't help but feel frustrated. Why did math have to be so dang hard?! Finally giving up for maybe a half-hour to an hour break Kat plugged in her mp3 into her ears. Scream by Thousand Foot Krunch played and singing along Kat decided that maybe it could help her figure out her algebra. Of course it only distracted her so she again gave up on the infuriating math problems.
"Scream. When the pressure breaks me. When it's to hard to see. When I feel like I'm at the end of my rope one more time." she sang softly despite the fact that the song was a loud hard-core song.
