Mary Sue sat twiddling her pen between her fingers absently, seemingly lost in thought as she continued to edit the piece her teacher had given her. It wasn't hers of course, she'd already passed the class with flying colours, there'd been talk of graduating early but honestly, that was the last thing she wanted.
She set down her pen, pressing her chin against her hand, watching the people moving in and out of the hall like the swell of the tide, her mind sliding into the usual pattern of picking the demi's from the regulars, a favourite game of hers. People watching was actually a favourite activity of hers, other than helping out at the shelter, helping the elderly, doing charity runs and campaigning to save rare species of penguins of course.
She gave a small sigh.
She hated new schools.
OOC: Bleh, icky post but hehe Mary Sueishness...it's all in the name ;P

Lily, her hands full with her books, entered the cafeteria. The day was only half over, and she was already feeling overwhelmed. And it was only the first day! Her old highschool had been more laid back, but this one was definitly better. She saw a girl sitting at table, demigod she though, and headed over. "Hi. Name's Lily."She said, sitting down, though her mind was only half on the girl. Already she had a bunch of homework, and she had the newspaper and theatre after school. She had no idea how she was going to fit it all into her schedule.

Mary Sue looked up, flashing a perfect smile.
"Hi, I'm Mary," She answered easily, spearing her pasta with her fork lightly, her hand skimming to a halt on her page before gently pushing the thing shut, the page number already stored neatly away.
"You look like you've got your hands full," She laughed, motioning at the girls things with a slight inclination of the head.

Lily laughed. "Yeah, first day of class and I'm already swamped." Reaching into her lunchbox, she pulled out a sandwich and chips. Biting into the sandwich, she realized how hungry she had been. She had been so busy trying to figure out where her classes were, and keeping herself organized, she hadn't time to think about it. "So, did you go to Richmondhigh last year?"She asked, trying to get a conversation started. OCC:it's fine. mine is too

Mary laughed.
"I know the feeling, I ended up subscribing to loads. I'm sure it'll be ok though," She smiled pleasantly, pushing a bit of hair out of her face as she began helping herself to her food once more, taking a sip of her drink.
"I arrived on the last week so I'm sure if that counts or not," She explained somewhat sheepishly.

She shrugged. "I dont know, but I feel like a freshman, getting lost all the time. I asked a junior for directions, and she gave me this weird look, like "shouldn't you know that already?" I wish I had gone here last year. Richmondhigh is so much better than my old school."

I am your Angel And I'm Enchanted, can't you see? -------------------------------------------------------------- Marian's class was over for one and a half hour. The feeling that she was receiving from the aura of the school seemed to give her the good vibes, not knowing why from the bottom of her heart she knew that her life in the boarding school, Richmond, would have a lot of things to do aside from studies. Marian felt that an amazing adventure would smash in front of her face and would be enjoying to face. She was walking at the Corridor, for about six steps to the door of the Lunch Room. The Lunch Room was fulled with people talking to each other, some were laughing, talking, running and annoying other students. She arched her brow as she looked at them all and stopped for a moment, trying to find an empty space for her to seat in. From a quite distance, she saw two girls sitting on an uncrowded table. Marian chuckled as she took a few steps to it but stopped for a moment, feeling shy to confront the other girls.
Marian was afraid to be rejected as a friend. That was why she preferred to stay alone during her old days in her last schools, aside from the fact that she didn't feel their vibes. Marian really wanted to be alone. But now that she was in another level of High School, she knew that it would be helpful for her to at least try to be friendly to other people because it could help her grow as a person. For her, it didn't mean that even though she was half goddess, everything in her life would be perfect. It wasn't like that for her. Marian preferred to live simple even though she knew that it couldn't perfectly be done for she was a half goddess. But at least she gotta give it a shot. She continued to walk while taking three deep breaths. Marian stood up in front of their table with a slight smile, and flickered her fingers as if trying to greet them. "Hello...", she smiled.

Lily looke up to see the girl she seen in the theatre. "Hi again."She smiled warmly, seeing the girl seemed nervous and a little shy. Lily had a thing with people. Though she liked being alone sometimes, and hated crowds, she had always been able to read people easily. See if they were nervous, excited, sad. "Have a seat."She offered. So far, Lily hadn't made any close friends, and hoped to get the know the girl a bit better.

I am your Angel And I'm Enchanted, can't you see? -------------------------------------------------------------- Marian smiled sweetly at the girl who greeted her back. Successfully, she didn't snob her. People in the school had been mean to her, so her defenses were strongly up. Marian chuckled and gently places her bag on the table, not wanting to make any loud noise by putting her bag on the table . She looked at them both and sat down on the seat. As she took the a seat, Marian felt a strange feeling of a somewhat connection to the girl. Marian used to know if she has a connection to someone or not. But for sure, she felt a strong one as she looked at the girl who asked her to take a seat. The connection was kind of blurry for her to be sure. It confused her as she stopped for a moment of thinking, still looking quite serious at the girl, and then shook her head. Nevermind....she thought to herself.

Lily studied her for a moment. There was something about her. Something familar. She had felt it when she had first met the girl, and she thought hard for a moment. Then she noticed that her eyes were a stormy grey. That was it. The girl was her half sister. "Well, I'm Lily, and this is Mary. Your mom's Athena, right?"She asked, risking asking the question, though she said it quietly enough that no one else at other tables heard her.

I am your Angel And I'm Enchanted, can't you see? -------------------------------------------------------------- She nodded at the the girl who introduced herself. "Hey, it's nice to meet you...I'm Marian...", she said to introduce herself. Marian was getting a hang of meeting with other people as she felt that the attitudes of the girls she was talking at weren't bad after all. Suddenly, the girl asked her if she was the daughter of Athena. Marian's eyes widened as if breathing stopped. She tried to think if it was the perfect place and time to ask her a certain question like that. But Marian had no choice. Since the girl asked her that already, and it seemed like no one really heard her, except maybe, for the girl beside her. She had to reply to avoid impoliteness. "Y-yes....I am a daughter of Athena.", she said a murmur which she assumed could be heard by the two girls.

Lily nodded, and leaned over to whisper in her ear. "Don't worry. Mary's a demigod too, and I made sure no one else was in ear shot."She said, assuring her.

I am your Angel And I'm Enchanted, can't you see? -------------------------------------------------------------- "Oh" she reacted and looked seriously at the girl whom she felt with the same feeling when she heard the name of her Mother. "You used your magic didn't you? I've never used any of my magic....yet."

Lily looked slightly puzzled. "Magic? I didn't know I had any......Don't even know what it is. I've just always been able to tell who's a demigod and who's not. And since you're my half sister, the feeling was even stronger. I can't tell parentage, at least, not yet."
