You think you know a story…
The year is 1515 and the future for England and the Tudor dynasty seems bright. King Henry appears content with his beautiful wife and healthy son , especially after the announcement that Queen Katherine is once more with child.
Yet Thomas Wolsey is growing impatient with the Queen, who favors an alliance with her native Spain rather than one with France. And while Wolsey's desire to avoid war with France creates tension between the King and Queen, others in the English court are not so willing to wait. Those such as Thomas Boleyn openly resent the Spanish and Katherine's loyalty to them. Using her history of volatile and failed pregnancies as cover, Boleyn and men of like mind begin to plot to bring Katherine down...and to put one of their own in her place.
But the young women, among them Anne Boleyn and Kathryn Howard, who stand to gain a crown from their plotting, may not be so keen on stepping over the body of King Henry's pregnant wife to gain a place on the throne...
…to get to the heart of a story, you have to go back to the beginning.
