Sarafina lead Rio into the Grooming & Tacking Area. Rio nickered softly towards the Albino mare known as Pandora. Rio had grown attached to that mare as if they had a brother and sister relationship, Rio wouldn't let any other horse near her except for Bell who was Semper's filly who was growing up so quickly. Rio nudged Sarafina as she started to groom him, getting Rio ready for Dodger. After making sure both of her horses were clean and their hooves picked she went into the tack room to get her western saddles, since both horses were built differently they both had their different saddles, she brought out the tack and saddles up the horses, she walked out to the barns and into the arenas waiting for Dodger to arrive.

After spending almost fifteen minutes just looking for his keys, he found them sitting next to his school books. It got to a point where it certainly wouldn't hurt to go get a spare key, but of course that required him to go get one. It had been at least ten years since he'd been on a horse, back when he was eight years old. His parents kept an old mare on their land, who let young Dodger ride her around. Most of the time, he would climb on her back and ride her around without a saddle or bridle. But after his parents died, he had to sell the mare and hadn't ridden ever since. Sarafina had horses, and was willing to lend one to Dodger for the day. With that thought in mind, he picked up his car keys and walked out to the parking lot where his black and red Challenger sat. He patted the hood with a smirk on his lips and slid into the driver's seat. When he finally got to the stable, he saw his favorite blonde standing in the arena patiently waiting for him.

Sarafina gently stroked Rio's head who pricked his ears forward at the sound of a car engine, Rio was Sarafina's favorite out of the two horses that she had, Pandora was a mare that she got from the Horse Rescue down in Midtown. When Sarafina first laid eyes on that mare, she wanted her and she got her. Rio let out a nicker as he gently nudged his owner's hand lovingly, " Your such a good boy." She said praising him lovingly then petting Pandora's neck, this would be her second time riding Pandora, she was a smooth mover but she had a lot of speed in her that Sarafina absolutely loved. Sarafina turned her head seeing Dodger patting the hood of his car, she shook her head then walked towards him, leading the two horses, "Hey, glad you found your car keys. This is Rio he'll be your noble steed for the day, don't worry he won't kill you just like I promised." She said with a smile face, then placed a quick kiss on his lips then walked over to Pandora then mounted her, sitting in the saddle.

Rio gave Dodger a curious look, sniffing his hand. He seemed just like the old horse he used to ride when he was a kid. Sarafina gave him a quick kiss before she climbed up onto her whiter than snow horse. "Good, I think he likes me." He replied with a grin. It wasn't hard for him to get into the saddle, and being tall certainly helped too. When he mounted Rio, he reached down and petted him softly on the neck.

Sarafina watched Dodger and Rio, who stood perfectly still as Dodger climbed up in the saddle. Rio put his hears back listening to the man who was now sitting on his back, when Rio felt and hand on his neck he turned his head letting out a soft nicker then faced foward again, Sarafina smiled at Dodger and Rio "As you can tell Rio is very sweet. Your probably on the safer horse out of these two." She said patting Pandora on the neck. Sarafina clicked her tongue then gently kicked Pandora's sides asking for a walk, Pandora responded by moving forward.

Once again, Sarafina reassured him that Rio was harmless and wasn't going to do something stupid and get someone killed. He liked this horse, Rio looked and acted just like the old horse did. He would spend hours upon hours running around his house, until both of them nearly fell over with exhaustion. There were times were he missed his old house, and his old life. But things changed for the worse when his mother died in that car accident on that rainy Sunday evening. He took up the reins in his hands, and looked over at Sarafina who was already asking Pandora to walk.
It was almost like he was picking up right where he left off, doing just as Sarafina had and asking Rio for a walk. He didn't throw a fit or fuss, instead he snorted and moved forward at a steady pace.

Sarafina knew that life would be hard after her parents died, her mom in a car accident, after a drunk driver ran a red light but the thing was Sarafina was also in that car accident but for some reason Sarafina came out without a single scratch on her, no broken bones or anything. Her dad was their for her in the beinging, but after the funeral things just got worse. And now with her dad gone from a stomach ulcer from his heavy drinking it almost seemed like couldn't get worse for her, but then Dodger came into at the perfect moment. Dodger was giving her something to live for, to stay in Richmond, Dodger was the reason why she was still alive and still in Richmond. If she could and if it was possible Sarafina would love to spend the rest of her life with him.
She looked over at Dodger on Rio, Rio pricked his ears forward as if saying "What are you looking at?" Sarafina couldn't help but smile at the sight of Dodger on a horse, "I thought I would never see the day, with you on a horse. You're just full of surprises aren't ya? She asked Dodger, with a smirk on her face.

Sarafina looked at him at smirked. She probably didn't think she'd ever see him on a horse, and he had to admit he didn't think he would have believed this either. "You haven't seen the last of the surprises, either." He told her with an ornery look on his face. He wasn't lying about the surprises either, he had a few more up his sleeve. It was all just a matter of good timing. "I used to ride a lot as a kid, but I had to sell my horse so that kinda got put on hold."
