After getting a message from Semper on Facebook saying he needed to talk to her and that he was at the barn with his new foal Gatsby that he adopted so that was where she was heading. It sounded very important, from what he was saying on Facebook. She apporched the barn getting a greeting nicker from her horse Rio she petted him, then Lance her most recent horse then quickly walked past the other stalls towards Bell's stall. She could only wonder what Semper wanted to tell her. She walked towards Bell's stall seeing Semper, she put her soccerbag down infront of Bell's stall "Semper, are you alright?" She asked him, thinking the conversation they had was about him, but she couldn't be more wrong.

I was pretty much freaking out right now. I had just adopted Gatsby and was getting him used to Bell's stall first (then I'd move him to his own stall), and not only that, but Raphael emailed me earlier and told me a massive secret. Now all I had to do was tell Sassifrass.
I was sitting in the stall, watching Bell and Gatsby sniff each other in a friendly manner, when Sassifrass arrived. Standing up, I didn't even bother to wipe off the bedding that was on my jeans before going over to her at the stall door.
"Yeah, I'm alright." I answered, reaching into my pocket to pull out the email from Raphael I had printed. "I jus' want you t' read this. It explains what I wanted t' tell you." I handed her the folded piece of paper, waiting for her to take it.

Sarafina looked at Gatsby and Bell who were getting used to eachother, Gatsby was a cute little thing. Sarafina looked at Semper who was sitting by the stall, it looks like he just got done cleaning the stall since he had stall bedding on his jeans. It relieved her to see and hear that he was alright but it still seemed that something was bothering him, she watched him reach into his pocket pulling out a folded piece of paper, when he held it out to her she took it gently from his hands then unfolded the paper and started to read it.

Her eyes widened when she finished reading the letter, then looked up at Semper "Semper, it's not possible......My mother would've told me." She said in shock as she reread the letter explaining how Semper's father and her mother were friends and appearently Semper's father was her father, it even had her mothers maiden name Elizabeth Angie Huskey.... before she married her other father Jonthan Scott. It seems Semper's father met before her mom got married to Jonathan. |

"I know it's really hard t' believe," I said once she had finished reading it. "But I trust the guy that emailed this t' me with m' life, 'n' he wouldn't make up anythin' like this. 'n' it also explains why my dad's last words were 'tell Semper.'" I put my hands on the stall door to keep myself balance. I could understand why she didn't believe it, but I wasn't going to lie and keep this from her. She deserved to know. "M'dad never told me anythin' 'bout it till he was dead..."

It was to hard to believe that my best friend since from my Freshman year here turned out to be my older half brother. But it also made some sense, the first day they met it was like they were drawn to eachother and they had alot in common, and of course they had their days where they were at eachothers necks, just like an older brother and sister would be but this was for real and she was now speaking to her older half brother.
From what Semper was saying about trusting the guy with his life he knew that she had to believe Semper from what this letter was saying about her being Semper's half younger sister " Semper....but how do you know it's really me? I mean it just doesn't seem possible and your dad keeping this big of a secret from you....it just doesn't seem fair to you or me. Then again........my mom never told me about this either." She said to him as she leaned against the stall so that she was next to him, kinda surprised afterall finding out your best friend who you consider your older half brother to be your REAL half brother wasn't something you found out everyday. |
