Pippa loved the feeling of the wind blowing through her hair as she sat in the moonlight, the lake next to her. She moved her hand into the icy cold water, letting it drip through her fingers as she watched the moon dance off of it. Her alarm clock had told her it was nearly midnight when she snuck out of her dorm and headed down to the lake...but Pip had been so lost in 'daydreaming' and letting the night absorb her that it had probably been hours since then. She stood up now, wiping her hand on her jeans to both dry it off an warm it.
She pulled a pack of cigarette from her pocket and lit one, holding her phone in her other hand as she did. She opened her the sidekick and scrolled through her contacts until she found Blaise's number. She quickly texted,
Are you up?
Come meet me at the lake
Closing her sidekick she held her cigarette in her lips, laying down in the grass and staring up into the night sky....it looked the same here as it did in London. If she closed her eyes she could almost imagine herself there again...but after only a few seconds of this she snapped her eyes back open. What was the point in thinking of London anymore? The only ones there were her mum and best friend Sutton who had yet to return any of her calls.
She took a deep breath, closing her eyes once more and this time opening them to the sky in Richmond, California...away from London, her mum, Sutton, mum's new boyfriend and Dad...this was her city and her new life. She smirked softly to herself, listening to the wind as it blew through the trees. Her phone was on loud as it lay in the grass next to her so she'd hear if Blaise answered her text.
She took another puff of her cigarette and let her mind wander from the stars to the first time she'd seen Blaise Doyle walking towards her in the cafe. Pip smiled up at the stars, forgetting London. |

Blaise lay in her bed in her dorm looking up at the ceiling trying to fall asleep. Her mind was wondering too much and she was too restless to sleep, but since it was around 2 in the morning she decided just to stay in her dorm. As she lay there she thought about Ireland and how different it is from California. Blaise's phone went off next to her vibrating across her night stand. She rolled over and picked it up as she read the message from Pippa she smiled. She couldn't believe she wasn't the only one up at this hour. Yeah I'm up... [/size][/b] I'm on my way there now. Is everything ok? [/size][/b] |

Pip's phone went off next to her as she lay there, it vibrated in the grass just inches from her hand. She sighed and rolled over onto her stomach grabbing her phone as she did. She quickly scrolled to her new messages, smiling at the message from Blaise. She texted back,
yeah, everything's fine.
bring alcohol
She dropped the phone into the grass again and rolled back over, once more staring up at the sky. She couldn't help but smile as she thought about Blaise...yeah she was with Ashleigh Lawerence, but they hardly ever spoke...and Blaise was a good friend to hang around with. That's all they were...friends. Pippa reassured herself of this as she took a few more puffs of the cigarette she held between her lips, closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath of the night air. |

Blaise's phone went off again as she was scrambling to find her shoes in her dorm room. As she checked her new message her stomach flipped and turned and a wide smile came across her face. She couldn't stop thinking about Pippa since she first met her in the lunch room the other day. Ok just making sure your fine... [/size][/b] I'm on my way now with beer [/size][/b] Blaise finally found her shoes and slid her feet into them. She walked over to her closet and grabbed the six pack of bud light she had hiding in her mini fridge. She walked over to her night stand and grabbed her keys and cigarettes. She quietly left the dorms and then sprinted over to her motorcycle that she had parked right outside the dorms. Blaise started up her motorcycle and raced as fast as she could to the lake. Once she arrived there she scanned the lake and found Pippa laying in the grass near the water. She drove her motorcycle right up next to her not caring that she will now be parked on the grass. "Hey there Pippa." She said this with a smile on her face and her heart pounding. |

Pip heard her phone go off next to her but ignored it for a moment, if it was important they'd call and if it was Blaise...well Pippa hoped she'd be on her way soon anyway.
Sure enough Pippa could hear the distant sound of a motorcycle grow nearer and nearer. Her heart skipping a beat once it was right on her, it seemed as if it would crush her lying there in the grass, her eyes closed. A wide smiled spread across her face as she heard Blaise, "Hi". She opened her eyes and looked up at Blaise standing over her.
"Yes! Beer, thank you!" She smiled, sitting up and immediately grabbing a beer from the pack in Blaise's hand. She opened and titled her head back as she chugged half of it before coming up for air. She smirked at Blaise when she did, "Sorry...I needed that." |

Blaise smiled as she realized that she actually missed Pippa more than she thought. "Your welcome." Blaise chuckled as Pippa grabbed a beer out of the pack and chugged about half of it before stopping. She was shocked that she could drink like that but relieved that she wasn't the only one that could do that. "Damn you drink like an Irish girl." She said this with a smirk on her face as she teased her a little. Blaise opened up a beer for herself then took out a cigarette and lit it as she sat down next to Pippa on the cool grass. "So how cold is that water right now anyways?" She said this with a mischievous look on her face as she stared down at Pippa laying on the grass.

Pippa laughed at the Irish girl comment, "Well I'm not...just know how to have a good time." She gave Blaise a small wink before taking another sip of her beer. She smiled as Blaise sat down next to her, her heart skipping a beat.
When Blaise comment about the coldness of the lake Pippa looked over at her, a michevious look in her eyes. "We could always find out?" Pippa jumped up, throwing her head back and chugging the rest of her beer before tossing the empty bottle onto the ground next to her phone and jogging off towards the lake. She pulled her shirt over her head as she ran, smirking at the thought that Blaise probably had anticipated seeing her in her underwear. She was about to be very disappointed.
Pippa turned around to face where Blaise was sitting in the grass, her black bikini top covered in red stars showing off her very pale stomach. She smirked at Blaise, "You coming?" She turned back around and peeled off her jeans to reveal a bikini bottom that matched the top. She stood at the edge of the lake, waiting for Blaise to join her. |

Blaise smiled at Pippa then looked her up and down. "I can see that, I'm glad that you can drink almost as good as I can." She smiled more at her own comment then tossed her empty beer bottle onto the grass.
Blaise's eyes widened when Pippa mentioned finding out how cold the water was. "Yea we could find out." When Pippa jumped up and started running towards the water Blaise just sat back watching her, checking her out from a distance. Once Pippa's shirt came off Blaise's jaw dropped and she laughed. She couldn't believe how out going she was, all she could think was how much she liked her. "I'm coming." She got up quickly and took off her shirt revealing her bra that she was wearing, she finished her cigarette and flicked it off into the distance. She ran over to Pippa and picked her up really quickly then jumped into the lake with her in her arms.

The last thing on Pippa's mind was that Blaise would push her in the water or pick her up...so she screamed when it happened and she hit the icy cold water wrapped in Blaise's embrace. She quickly surfaced and kicked her feet at Blaise playfully, softly pushing her foot into the other girl's hip. "You are unbelievable!" Pippa laughed, swimming a few feet away from Blaise.
She floated on her back for a minute, staring up at the sky. "I love swimming" She laughed as she sunk her whole body back into the water, submerging her head and swimming even further away from Blaise. When she resurfaced to take a breath she turned to look at Blaise, waiting for her to follow. |

Blaise quickly surfaced with Pippa and shook her head from side to side to get her hair out of her face. "How am I unbelievable? You wanted to see how cold it was so I helped." She laughed as she said this to her. When Pippa kicked away from her and started to swim away she quickly went under the water and followed her in hopes to pop up in front of her without her realizing it.
Once Pippa resurfaced again Blaise grabbed onto her hips and resurfaced in front of her like she planned. "I love swimming too." She gently brushed the hair out of Pippa's eyes so she could look into them better as they swam in the cold lake. "Its not too cold, you think?" She gazed in her eyes more with a smirk on her face. Her heart pounding faster with each moment that passed by.

Pippa screamed as Blaise grabbed a hold of her hips then quickly put both hands over her mouth as her scream echoed throughout the night. She laughed into her hands, then stopped as Blaise moved her hair out of her face. Pip's heart skipped a beat. "I have a girlfriend" She blurted out quickly, her eyes locking on Blaise's. She could feel her heart melting as she stared into her eyes, "I have a girlfriend" She repeated, this time it was barely a whisper.
She looked away from Blaise, swimming backwards a few feet. She shook her head, shivering from the cold a little. "No...its not to cold" The truth was her entire body was numb...and she didn't know if it was from the cold or something else entirely. |

Blaise laughed when she heard the loudest scream she has ever heard. Her heart was skipping beats left and right as Pippa looked back into her eyes. "I know you have a girlfriend." She replied with a sad look on her face then took a deep breath to shake the feeling she got from hearing those words come off of Pippa's soft looking lips.
As Pippa swam off Blaise swam behind her trying to catch up with her. Once she caught up to her she stopped a few feet in front of her and smiled. "You look pretty cold to me." Blaise shivered as she too was pretty cold and her body grew numb.

Pippa shivered a bit once more but smiled at Blaise, "Its not that bad...it'll probably be even colder once we get out and don't have towels." She laughed, swimming a circle around Blaise. "So...you know my status, but I don't really know yours." She gave her a suspicious look as she moved, her eyes locking on Blaise's once more. "How is an incredibly sexy girl like yourself still single?" |

Blaise smiled as Pippa swam around her. She laughed as she watched her shiver again. "Yea it probably will be colder once we get out. Then it will be really cold on my motorcycle." She locked eyes with Pippa once more.
Blaise was dreading this question from her. She didn't like explaining her past love life since it was still kind of a tender subject to her. With a deep sigh she replied, "Well I was with this girl for about two years and then she just decided one day that it wasn't working so she left me." She was surprised that this all came out easier than she thought it would. "That was a year ago. Since then I havn't really found anyone that caught my eye." As she said the last part she looked at Pippa and winked. She then remembered that Pippa called her sexy and it brought a smile to her face. "You think I'm sexy huh?"

Pippa laughed, "Maybe I did..." She smirked as she continued to swim a circle around Blaise. "What happened?" The words were out of her mouth before she even realized she'd said them, she quickly reacted to take them back. "Oh my god, Blaise I'm sorry...Its none of my business...I just..." She bit down on her lower lip looking away from Blaise for a moment as she continued to swim.
"...I just feel like I already know you so well," She looked over at her again, "But that doesn't give me the right to ask you...please don't answer that." She realized she was suddenly blabbing her mouth like an idiot and immediately closed it, counting to ten slowly in her head before she blurted out something else to embarrass them both. |
