"No, no I just..." Pippa held her cell phone to her ear as she sat on a rock beside the lake, listening to and occasionaly being inturupted by her mother. "It doesnt make any sense mum! You sent me here so he could straighten me out or whatever and all he did was send me to this stupid school--I---MUM!" Pippa felt like screaming as her mother inturupted her again. "Fine! You call me when you have time to deal with your own daughter and not your bloody boyfriend"
"UGH!!" Pippa groaned loudly as she flipped her sidekick phone shut. She wanted nothing more than to chuck the phone into the lake and never deal with the drama again, but she couldn't..it was her only tie to England.
She sat now in silence, pulling her legs up to her chest she wrapped her arms around them. Being nearly the end of spring and beginning of summer the weather was perfect enough that Pip was wearing short jean shorts and a black halter top. Her hair hung down her back and shoulders in dark brown ringlets and her face was covered in perfect makeup, complete with a smokey eye shadow look.
She had made as much effort as possible that morning to look presentable, something she normally could careless about. However, since arriving at Richmond and meeting only five people she was taking the chance of trying to throw herself out there, hoping someone, anyone..would notice. |

Apollo walked around Richmond Lake, it was just the other day he made his arrival at this spot he hadn't made his appearence yet at at Richmond but he would sooner or later. Being a god, he was trying act and dress as humanly as possible and so far it was going pretty well so he thought. It was odd being back on Earth after so many years, but it gave him a chance to meet his children he hadn't seen since a day after they were born, it was then Zeus had made the call to go back to Olmpyus, and now thanks to a son of Aphrodite, letting the secret get out about Demigods they were called back to settle, and find out who told the secret, Apollo could only hope that none of his children were involoved.
A figure seeing near the water caught his attention, he quietly walked over to her a small friendly smile appeared on his face, as he apporched her from behind, "Having a rough day?" Apollo asked her, he knew sooner or later the girl would ask his name but he had one in mind one that he had used many times over but it still was his cover name you just don't go up to people and say "Hey, my name's Apollo....Oh yeah, I'm the God of Light. That wasn't the way, he still had to act human as well.

Pippa jumped slightly at the sudden voice behind her, she turned to look over her shoulder at the man. "Hi...um yeah" Pippa looked down at her phone in her lap, wondering how much of the conversation with her mother the man had actually heard. She turned on the rock to look at him,"Kind of a rough few months actually." She admitted, her thick British accent faltering a little as she stumbled over the words.
Pippa smirked a little at the man, he was handsome...really handsome. He looked far to young to be a teacher at Richmond but definitely wasn't a student. After a few seconds of silence she realized she'd been starting at him, probably with a gawking look on her face. She closed her eyes and shook her head, looking down at her lap. "Sorry...like I said it's been a rough time recently." She looked up at him again, "My name's Pippa" |

Apollo quickly knew that this girl was just a pure-human being, he could tell that she didn't have an ounce of Demigod blood in her, Apollo walked up next to her, placing himself next to her. This human made it sounded like she had come here by force and not on her own free will, what where these humans coming to? Forcing other to do what they are told, and making sure they do it accordingly. Apollo watched humans most of the time from his home, and someways the humans acted was enough to make him sick, and he sure he wasn't the only one who got sick about seeing how humans can treat others as if they didn't have a soul in them.
A small smile appeared on his face as he noticed the girl staring at him, being a God he did have that affect on people, mostly women since he was man. Apollo was known for not being rude back at home, but he did have his days when he wanted to slice someones head off, but that was just part of being a God, "I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully your day will get better sooner or later....I'm sorry for freighting you, i'm Madden...It's nice to meet you Pippa." He said with a charming grin on his face, then held out his hand for her to shake. [/blockquote] |

Pippa smiled shyly, she couldn't believe herself and the way she was acting. No one had ever had this affect on her before. "It's nice to meet you to Madden," She smiled yet again as she took his hand and shook it weakly. "So...uh, what brings you out to the lake today?"
She was hoping to change the subject from the embarrassing conversation he may have over heard with her mother. It wasn't exactly news to anyone at Richmond High that she's been sent here by her parents, exactly why was a different story. Her mind wandered to what someone had written on the bathroom stall door in the girls room, she shook her head a little as she thought of it as if it would push the thoughts out. Looking back up at Madden she silently prayed that she was right and he was in no affiliation with Richmond High, otherwise he could find out...or may already know the vicious rumor written in the girls bathroom.
It didn't really bother her that some hateful girl had written her name on the bathroom door...just that she was already so miserable and didn't want to be here...it didn't help that no one else wanted her here either. |
