Kaleb watched Dodger to make sure he didn't go overboard, Kaleb has a brother relationship with Dodger they watched out for eachother and they people they cared about. When Dodger asked Kaleb if Sarafina was alright, Kaleb shook his head "I'm not a doctor, Dodger. But she seems okay, phyiscaly anyway. I have no idea how this is gonna affect her emtional wise though." He said to Dodger. It was then Kaleb saw Chicago come into the kitchen giving Dodger a hug, and said that Sarafina was asking for him, Kaleb raised an eyebrow at Dodger as he asked if he could go see her now, Kaleb nodded "Of course. It would be better if you did actually." He said to Dodger.
Kaleb looked over at Chicago, he wanted to hug her but that probably wouldn't be a good idea since her fiancee was in the room next to them. Of course he knew, afterall he saw the status on facebook about them being engaged, except Kaleb heard Chicago say that Sarafina gave them a name Bear...That asshole was as good as dead "Bear huh?.....Well, he better be ready cause he's getting a hell of a ass beating coming his way. He said, then looked at what she was wearing, "Do you want a pair a sweats or a jacket?" He asked her.

Chicago was silently trying to shoo the memories out of her mind. She was about five minutes short of yelling at them (the memories of course) to just fuck off and leave her alone. Let her have some peace and be happy for once on her life. Yeah, that'd be enough for her friends to ship her off to the loony bin.
She was leaning against Kalebs kitchen counter, arms crossed infront of her chest, looking at the ground, concentrating really hard on not crying (for Sarafina and herself.) She needed to be the strong one out of them. The voice of reason, the sensible one. Not the insane one who couldnt cope. She really just wanted a hug and to spill her guts, but that sure as hell wasnt gonna happen anytime soon. Plus, at this point in time, everything was about Sarafina, and Chicago didn't want to ruin that. She wasn't into one upping. Chicago listened as Kaleb spoke about Bear and just gave a nod. She couldnt really trust herself to speak at the moment and certainly didnt have any words of wisdom or comfort or anything to give the guys, or Sarafina. She looked up though when he offered her a jacket or some sweats. She looked down and realised she was still wearing her pyjamas, and come tot hink of it, she was actually getting kind of chilly. Chicago cleared her throat and nodded again "Uhm, yeah..some sweatpants would be nice, if you had some. And if you dont mind...I didnt really think about what I was wearing before I left....I just...you know, hopped in the car and drove over...yeah..."

Dodger looked over at Chicago, and pulled off his hoodie. He didn't really need it anyway, so he decided she needed it more than he did. "Here, you can have this." The more that he thought about that name, the more he started to remember a strange looking kid that sat in the back of his math class. He always kept to himself, and would shoot occasional glares at anybody would speak to him. He gave Dodger the creeps, even without saying anything. "Hey, Sassifrass." He sat down next to Sarafina, hoping that using her nickname would crack a weak smile from her lips.
Her injuries weren't anything that would last forever, but it wasn't the physical bruises that lasted the longest. He reached out and grabbed her hand, to let her know that he was there and wasn't going to ever leave her side.

Sarafina looked at Semper as he gently stroked her arm as she remained resting on the couch, Sarafina was more worried about Chicago then herself, that was just the way she was sometimes it went a little overboard about caring for others before herself and it didn't end so well but this was one of those times. She was just so paying attention to Semper that she didn't see Dodger who was already sitting next to her, she felt his hand grasp hers she looked up at him with a small smile. Since she was sitting next to him she moved up so that her head was resting on his lap.

At least she seemed to have calmed down a bit. I bet you her mind wasn't at all settled, but at least she physically appeared still and serene.
It didn't take long before Dodger came in and sat next to her, so I took that as my cue to leave. I got up, gave Dodger a quick greeting-type nod of the head, then went quietly into the kitchen where Chicago and Kaleb were, ducking under the door frame like I usually had to do.
Something had upset Chicago earlier, and though I wanted to ask what it was, I felt that I should keep my mouth shut. I was concerned about her, though, so.... what should I do?
I went over to her, hesitating a moment before lightly touching her shoulder. "Are you alright, Chicago?" I asked quietly, knowing that it was a stupid question to ask. Of course she wasn't alright. Something was bothering her, but I didn't want to press her about it if she didn't want to answer.

Chicago gave the tiniest smile as Dodge held out his hoodie to her. "Thanks". She continued to lean against the kitchen counter, staring absent mindedly at the tiles on the floor, playing with one of the hoodie strings.
She wasnt aware of anything much that happened after that. She didnt know if anyone left the kitchen, or tried to speak to her. She was so consumed by the memories, she had completely zoned out. Its like she was out of phase or something ridiculous.
When she felt a light tap on her shoulder, Chicago visibly flinched. She hadnt meant to, and as much as she wanted to take it back, she knew she couldnt. If she was Semper, seeing her flinch like that would have ripped her apart, especially at your own touch. She tried to save the situation by answering his question quickly, with a bunch of half-truths "Its just...stuff like this..it rattles you. She's like my sister. I'm worried." Chicago hoped that her acting skills would come in handy, but she honestly didnt think even they could cover up her discomfort. Crap. ((ZOMFZ FAIL POST D: ))
