Kaleb heard his dogs barking and rapid knocking on the door. He ran down the stairs to the door, when he opened it his eyes widened. It was Sarafina, her shirt was ripped showing more then half of her bra, she had a cut on her arm that was bleeding down dripping off her fingers, and bruises on her shoulders, "Sarafina, what the hell....Who did this to you? He said looking at her. Before she had time to reply, Sarafina started to collasp from exhaustion, Kaleb got her in time lifted her up, carried her into the house shutting the door with his foot. He carried her to the house, got one of his shirts, then took her ripped shirt off tossing it to the floor, he saw that Sarafina had a busted lip to, he put his shirt over her. Then got a pillow to keep her comfortable, he ran to the bathroom to get some bandages then ran backdown stairs. He sent a facebook message to Semper who was appearently her older half brother, and Dodger who was her boyfriend. While they waited, Sarafina told everything about what happened at the abandon building to Kaleb, while Sarafina rested on the couch, Kaleb paced back an forth infront of the door hoping that one of the two would be here soon.

I had just been trying to clear my head in my dorm when Kaleb messaged me. It was kind of sketchy, if you ask me: "Get to my house quick!" But the last part threw me off completely. "It's Sarafina. She's hurt." Of course, when I asked what happened, Kaleb said that he couldn't tell me on Facebook.
Normally I wouldn't give a shit about any of this, but this was my sister we were talking about -- of course I was going to beat the hell out of whoever decided to hurt her. And I didn't even care that I had to go to Kaleb's house; we were both on the same side with all this.
Since I only had frayed shorts on, I threw on a shirt and didn't even bother with shoes. The soles of my feet were calloused enough to where I could run around on rocks barefoot and feel fine, so why worry about shoes? Especially when I was in a rush like this.
Snatching up my keys, I darted down the stairs and over to my truck, coaxing it to life as quickly as I could. Once the old engine was purring in a stable fashion, I drove out of the driveway and to Kaleb's house. Occasionally I felt my heel hit against the shotgun I kept hidden underneath the seat of the truck, along with boxes of buckshots (you never knew when you'd need some), and the thought crossed my mind that I'd shoot whoever the hell hurt my sister. It was an appealing image of blood pouring from a buckshot wound, but I'd end up so far deep in shit that it wasn't worth it.
Stopping in Kaleb's driveway, I quickly put the truck in park and got out of the cab, locked it, and leaped the steps up to the front door, trying to not knock urgently. But how could I be calm when all I knew was that my sister was hurt?

Kaleb walked back to the living room to check on Sarafina, who ever decide to scare her did a damn good job of it. He heard rapid knocking on the front door, he jogged over to the door then quickly opened it, he saw Semper "I am happy to see you. Who ever hurt Sarafina did a damn good job of it." He moved to the side quickly to let Semper then quickly shut the door Dodger, where the hell are you? He thought.

Sarafina continued to cry even though she knew she was safe at Kaleb's she felt that he was here the entire time. Why would he do such a thing to her? Of coure Sarafina didn't tell the name to Kaleb she was too scared that he would just pop up and try to rape her again. Sarafina took a deep breath trying to calm down but how could she when she was nearly raped, she heard a rapid knocking on the door, she sat up and looked at the door seeing Semper. Sarafina tried to call out to him but she couldn't find her voice to.

Kaleb's words were not comforting at all. Anger began to swell up inside of me, fuming and burning and just slowly engulfing me. I looked down at Kaleb for a moment before looking past him and seeing Sassifrass all teary eyed... and bloody.... and bruised.... fuck.
I ducked under the door frame and went over to her, squatting down in front of her. I can't even begin to describe how angry I felt as seeing all her injuries up close. Who the fucking hell would do this to her? The only people that have grudges against her is Tam and the Permians, and I highly doubt that Tam did this. Permians, maybe, but why would they come all the way out here just to beat up someone?
"Sassifrass, who did this t' you?" I asked in a quiet and calm tone, though underneath that was a fiery hatred. I was itching to run back and get my shotgun, but I wanted to stay here with Sassifrass and get revenge on whoever was stupid enough to do this. It hurt me to see her in such a vulnerable state.... "Sis...?

Dodger was a few minutes away from clocking out when he felt his phone go off. He looked over his shoulder to make sure his manager wasn't around, and looked at his messages. Every single one of them were from Kaleb, and he could feel the urgency just by reading them. He didn't know what was going on, but he clocked out of work as soon as the managed told him he was clear to leave. Something just didn't feel right. He sent Kaleb a quick text saying he was getting in his car and was going to hurry as quick as he could.
He pushed his car as fast as he could go without being completely obvious, pushing eighty on a road that was usually fifty. His car was made for speed, and he wasn't in the mood to slow down. When he neared Kaleb's neighborhood, he did a sharp turn into the neighborhood and sped down the street. He didn't even bother with parking in the driveway and jumped out of the car as soon as he put it into park. Just as Kaleb told him, he opened the door and heard Kaleb's and Semper's voice. "Guys, what's wrong? I'm sorry I took so long, my manager was being a pain in the ass." But he didn't even have to ask when he walked into the living room where Kaleb and Semper where gathered around a bruised and battered Sarafina.
When he saw her, he couldn't find the words to say. Dodger stood there speechless, a wave of emotions rushing over him. He was furious, that someone would have the audacity to do something to Sarafina, and then he felt sympathy. She was still shaking, in shock. "Who the hell did this to her?"

Kaleb heard the sound of Dodger's car engine in the parking lot outside Kaleb's house, he put a hand on Semper's shoulder and whispered in his ear "See if you can get a name from her, i'm gonna take Dodger to the kitchen just incase he blows." He whispered to Semper, then looked at Sarafina. He walked over to the Dodger then nodded for him to follow if Dodger blew he didn't want him to do it infront of Sarafina she was already scared enough, "Dodger, Sarafina was nearly raped at the Abandon Building at the High School. She said she was able to get away in time but with the marks and bruises already there he must've got something from her." He said to him.

Sarafina looked at Semper as he squatted infront of her, she could tell that Semper was really pissed off she hadn't seen him this pissed off in a long time. But he's voice was calm in it's tone, when he asked who did this to her, Sarafina opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out, her body seemed to tremble even worse, it seemed that her body was shaking through the blanket. She closed her mouth and buried her face into the pillow as tears spilled down her cheeks, she looked up to see Dodger, she wanted to see him but Kaleb took him. Probably to tell him what had happened.

Chicago had been bumming around her dorm in her pj's when she had seen a status update from Kaleb that worried her abit. After reading the comments, she was even more worried and had announced that she would be at Kalebs place soon, and no one had tried to dissuade her. Not that she would listen if they had tried. If what she thought had happened to Sarafina had happened, she needed to be there with her friend. AND is Frass had some sort of post traumatic stress syndrome thing going on, having three tough guys around could be terrifying for her, especially without another girl around.
She screeched around the corner faster than the limit but not so fast that she didnt corner on all four wheels. Chicago came to a sudden stop in around about the same place she had parked a few days prior when she was here, and narrowly missed colliding with the front wall. Best not to tell anyone about that one. Slamming her door shut, she ran to the front door, not caring she was still in her pj's. Chicago didnt even bother to knock, but just tugged on the handle and the door swung open. She closed it quietly behind her, not wanting to make unneccesary noise.
Padding through the front hallway in her ugg boots, she saw Kaleb and Dodger in the kitchen, probably so that Dodge didnt flip his lid infront of Frass. She'd talk to them later. Rounding the corner into the living room, Chicago froze momentarily. As horrible as she felt for her friend, the sight of Sarafina bloody and bruised was bringing back memories that she had buried in the dark recesses of her mind. Things she didnt want to rememeber, ever. That one time when she was nine, and another when she was fourteen. And then the Valentines Day dance earlier this year. She had healed quickly, physically...one of the "perks" of being her mothers daughter she supposed. But emotionally, she couldnt handle it, and she could usually handle quite abit. So, she had never talked about it to anyone, just pushed it away, and forgotten about it. Until now.
Chicago wasn't sure if she could hide the immense pain in her eyes as she looked at her friend, but was more interested in hiding it from Semper to be honest. He knew her well enough to know that she wasnt only upset about Frass. And then he'd want to ask her about it, and she didnt want to talk to him about it. As she moved to Sarafina's side, Chicago had tears in her eyes, and dropped onto the floor next to the couch Sarafina was on, reaching out to grab one of her hands, and wiping her eyes on the shoulder of her flannel shirt. -------------- tag: everyone notes: omg FAIL POST. i had most of it written out then the laptop spazzed so i had to do it again, and it wasnt as good the second time D: outfit: PYJAMAAAAAAS XD <3

Sassifrass didn't answer. I don't blame her; she looked really shaken up. Of course I wanted to comfort her, but 1.) she was attacked by a male, and 2.) I was a male. Sure, we were brother and sister, but if I had been attacked this badly by someone, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near anyone that even remotely looked like that person.
I looked back when I heard Dodger's voice, seeing him standing there and looking more shocked than anything. If it were Chicago in this situation, you can bet that I'd be one severely pissed off person, so I figured that it was a smart idea for Kaleb to take him into the kitchen. But still, I would think that Sassifrass would want to speak to Dodger the most out of all of us. Though I guess what Kaleb did was a good thing so Dodger could react however he wanted and not scare Sassifrass.
I turned back to Sassifrass, wanting to comfort her really badly, but I knew how that could possibly turn out, and I didn't want that. Instead, I kept my voice quiet and as calm as I could, trying to get the name of the guy who did this. "Sis, I know you don't want t', but we need t' know who did this t' you." Patience was the big thing. She had just been attacked for Ripred's sake, she needed time to pull herself back together, so I wasn't going to force anything out of her. Only ask and let her answer on her own time.
I didn't even hear the door open when Chicago came in. All of a sudden she was beside me, holding onto one of Sassifrass's hands. The pain in her eyes was obvious, though I knew why. Anything like this was a very touchy subject with anyone, so I knew better than to ask what was wrong. But now I was stuck between a rock and a hard place: I wanted to help my sister, but didn't want to traumatize her anymore than she already was. I wanted to comfort Chicago, but I didn't want to just abandon Sassifrass. Gah, it really sucks being caught in the middle. So instead of just doing nothing, I subtly reached out and took Chicago's free hand to at least let her know that even though I was concerned, I wasn't going to verbally ask what the matter was, all the while still patiently focusing on Sassifrass, waiting for whenever she was comfortable with talking about it.
((Quick reply before school & before I head off for the weekend. D: ))

Kaleb heard his front door open, he quickly turned his head to see Chicago walk in. Just like the three of them she had a right to be here, maybe it would help Sarafina get a name out if another female was here. Kaleb wouldn't blame Dodger on how he would react, but there was one thing Kaleb wasn't gonna let go of, whoever did this to Sarafina wasn't just gonna get away with it. Kaleb would pay this little motherfucker a visit and boy was he gonna make sure he never went near, looked, or even think about Sarafina. Kaleb looked at Dodger, "Dodger, I think we might have to clean house." He said then looked back at the couch to see if Semper made any progress in getting a name, but by the looks of it he hadn't made any.

Sarafina sighed deeply trying to relax but how could she after an event like that, she heard the door open to Kaleb's house in a blink of an eye she saw Chicago next to Semper......When Sarafina saw tears form in Chicago's eyes, Sarafina gripped Chicago's hand tightly with a reassuring squeeze. Sarafina looked at Semper as he started to talk to her again, he was right Sarafina didn't want to say the name but she had to if they wanted to find out who did it, she opened her mouth,"H.....his name was B....Bear." She told him shaking, then she was quiet trying to hear Dodger, but Kaleb was talking. She wanted to see Dodger, and he probably knew it to.

Chicago was using everyt bit of her willpower and strength to hold back her tears and stop herself from running out of the room. She was slightly reassured when Frass took her hand. That was good, it meant she wasn't closing everyone out. Chicago gave her friends hand a squeeze back. She felt a familiar warmth when Sempers fingers intertwined with hers, and was relieved when he didnt say anything.
The only thing with having a friend holding each of your hands, is that when you find out who messed up your best friend like that, you cant do anything with them. When Frass managed the strength to tell them it was Bear who attacked her, Chicago would have normally covered her mouth with her hands or some shizz like that. But she couldnt really do anything. Instead she focused all her attention on Sarafina and want she wanted/needed. Chicago had been watching Saffs closely and could tell she wanted to see Dodge. She looked at her friend "I'm going to go talk to the guys, and send Dodger in...alright?" she knew Sarafina would be alright with Semp for a few minutes. Now that they knew who had done it, they could draw comparsions. The only semblance Semp had to Bear is that they were both male. She relucantly let go of Frass and Sempers hands, and then pushed herself up off the floor, leant over and gave Frass a small kiss on the forehead, and then pressed a kiss to Semps cheek, and said in a whisper "Its probably better if I go talk to them. Dodge'll be out in a minute or so" and then made her way to the kitchen.
When she got there, the flashbacks were pretty full on by that stage. Especially knowing that it was Bear that had done it, the Valentines Dance was in the forefront of her mind. Chicago was trying to push the memories back into their box, but they weren't listening. Knowing that this point in time now wasnt for her, she pulled herself together as much as she could before entering the kitchen and looking at the two boys quietly. Poor Dodge. He looked distraught. Chicago took a couple of steps over and gave him a hug, it being the only real form of comfort that she could give at the moment. As she stepped back, she cleared her throat "Frass wants to see you..." and waited for him to leave the room before she looked at Kaleb with her normally bright blue eyes looking darker than usual, and full of pain and tears. "We, uhm..we got a name Kaleb." she gave a sniffle and wiped her eyes on the long sleeves of her flannel shirt before continuing. "...it was Bear..."

I hated seeing my sister like this. Already that brotherly side of me was getting all fired up and making me want to go on a fiery/murderous/pillaging rampage through Richmond and destroy everything in my path just to find this son of a bitch that did this to Sassifrass. Okay, maybe not that violent, but I'd sure as hell be willing to tear off that bastard's head with my bare hands. Though I bet you that Dodge and Kaleb were just as willing to do that as I was, but especially Dodge. If he hadn't already boiled over.... I didn't really want to be near him when he exploded. Though I bet it'd be kinda fun to watch him beat the living hell out of someone. Heh... yeah...
When I heard Sassifrass tell us the name of the guy, I could swear that I was going to explode myself. Finally we had a name, and Sassifrass didn't need to explain anymore. We all knew who that freak show was. No wonder Sis was so scared. Fucking cannibal. If I could just get my hands around his neck....
Chicago let go and bent over to kiss Sassifrass's forehead before whispering to me that Dodge would be out in a minute. I nodded, glancing up at her before she went off into the kitchen. This was my time now to try to calm my sister down. Only thing was, I'm really not good at these kinds of things. 1.) Anytime I ever cried over something when I was little, my dad's response was always, "Quitcherbellyachin', you're alright," and 2.) I've never had to deal with this kind of situation before. So I figured that, ultimately, I was going to fail at trying to make her feel better.
"Bear, eh?" I said, trying once again to hide my burning hatred towards the bastard. "Don't worry 'bout 'im. We'll make sure he don't hurt you or get anywhere near you anymore. He's not gonna hurt you no more." I hesitantly reached out and lightly rubbed her arm (I first made sure it wasn't bruised, thank you very much) in a comforting manner -- or attempted comfort, anyways -- in the hopes of soothing her while waiting for Dodge to come in.

(Stupid work...keeping me away from my threads!)
Kaleb got his attention and brought him into the kitchen, which immediately made Dodger believe that something just wasn't right. He knew something had happened to Sarafina, but he felt completely in the dark for not knowing just what. Kaleb began to explain to him what had happened when Sarafina was near the old abandoned building near the High school. He'd driven by it a few times, but never really thought much about it. "Is she......is she alright now?" The asshole that was stupid enough to do this, had it coming for him. He had talked to Sarafina just that evening, she came into his work to give him his phone because he left it at her dorm. "That fucker....better find a damn good hiding spot."
All he wanted to do was go into the other room. She was all he could think about right now, and he listened closely as Chicago and Semper tried to coax Sarafina into giving them a name. "Can I see her now?" He asked Kaleb. He didn't really have to ask, he was just going to walk right in there anyway.
