"Welcome to the Future,When I was ten years old, I was think how cool it would be to have my own pack-man game at home. " Scotty was new here, the cowboy freak. As he entered a bel rang and the three people there looked at him. He looked away and stepped foward to the ordering counter. The lady who took your order looked at him and smiled "Hello, Im Lola, what would you like from Starbucks?" She asked him with a a huge smile on her face. Her beach blonde hair was tied in a bun and two cury strands hung down on her face. He looked around. There were T.Vs everywhere and they were playing the news in a low volume. People were using telephones. In the fields there were only radios. No texting or no watching T.V. "Um... I would like a.... caramel mocheado. I think thats how you say it." Scotty said in a confused tone. "Ok, thank you, Itll be right to you. ONE CARAMEL MACHEADO!" Lola said and screamed. To motioned him to go to the corner of the counter. A caramel mocheado slid to him and he grabbed it and went to the cashier place. "That'll be tweleve dollars" The cashier told him. He pulled his brown leather wallet out and gave her the exact amount plus tax. He walked over to a small round table and sat down in one of the two chairs. He looked up and tried to listen to the news.

Tam pushed open the door to Starbucks, looking round the place somewhat contemptuously. She didn't think she'd ever been so glad to have binned the 'Starbucks' apron and hat...ugh, for as long as she lived, she swore, she'd never work again.
...on the plus side! She got at least half price coffee every time she walked into the place, occasionally it was even free too...today however, considering her rather irritable ex boss was there, she made sure to hang around, beaming at him pleasantly as she scowled, sending a wink at him before she moved towards one of the comfier sofas and making herself comfortable.
She'd been working on her dress for prom. She'd decided she'd have it made...and seeing as she was generally extraordinarily picky she'd even gone as far as to design it herself...or would do...if she had something to bloody write with.
She looked up, scanning quietly before spotting a boy fairly close.
"Excuse me, do you have a pen I could borrow?" She asked.

"Welcome to the Future,When I was ten years old, I was think how cool it would be to have my own pack-man game at home. " Scotty heard the voice speak to him. A clear failry pretty voice, that sounded like his mothers, well at least as he imagined it. He turned around to see a bueatiful, extrodinary blonde haired girl that looked fairly close to Lola, the counter person (xD). "Do you have a pen I can borrow?" She had asked him. He wondered if she was talking to him. He didnt want to embarres himself. He did it anyway. He reached inside his pocket and felt around. He felt something hard and warm (That sounds wrong xD). He pulled it out of his pocket and it was a black colored pen. He nodded ut her and showed her the pen "Yup, I got one right here" Scotty said in his stupid country accent.

Tam smiled broadly, reaching out and plucking the pen out of his hand.
"Thanks," She beamed.
"Nice accent by the way," She grinned before turning back, clicking the head and pulling her notepad out her bag, flipping it open and settling it on her lap.
"So, I'm guessing you're new...?" She said casually as she began, glancing up after a moment or two.

Everything had gone to hell last night. I completely lost my memory with Chicago, Sassifrass, and Mr. Eastlyn, but after that, I don't remember anything. I must've fell down or something, because I had this massive bruise on the side of my head that was partially hidden by my hair. I still had the headache that it gave me like hell in a hand basket, so what better way to try to soothe it than iced coffee?
...... no, actually. I didn't like coffee at all. I just had a craving for it.
So I ventured into Starbucks, feeling quite out of place. This was only my second or third time ever being in one of the shops without the intent on visiting Sage or Tam, so when I went up to the counter, I asked for a small (or whatever it is that they're called) iced coffee and paid the ridiculous cost, then stood around and waited.
Even though it was quiet in the shop, the noise level was still hurting my head, especially when a familiar obnoxious voice pierced right through: Tam. Not that she's obnoxious--..... okay, that was a lie. I think she's obnoxious, but that's what makes her, well, her. She was talking to some guy that looked like a cowboy. Well, that wasn't much different from how I looked: old muddy boots, threadbare, frayed, and holey jeans, and an Arkansas Razorback shirt that'd seen too many days at the barn.
I turned around and got the small iced coffee cup and took a sip of it, cringing at the bitterness of the liquid as I forced it down and headed over to where Tam was sitting with that other boy. The cold liquid soothed the headache some, but it was still pounding like hell.
"Hey Tam." I said quietly, trying to not jolt my headache with my own voice. "'n' I don't think I've met y' b'fore, so hello." I lightly nodded a greeting to the guy before going quiet, setting the bitter coffee down on the table.
((I hope you don't mind me throwing him in here. D: I figured this would be better than creating a whole other thread. x3 ))

Tam looked up when she felt someone sit down near here, her face brightening immediately when she saw Semper.
"SEMP!" She cried happily, giving him a large grin.
"Yeah this is S...Semp what happened to your head?" Tam asked, her brow furrowing as she looked at the bruised welt partially hidden before brushing back and raising an eyebrow.
"What the hell happened to you?" She said flatly, her eyebrow raising into a expectant but dissatisfied ark.
