Sasha couldn't wait to start working on the project for her summer acting class. She had never been the type of girl that felt like being lazy during the summer. There was just too much energy inside her body to allow herself to be lazy, and so she had enrolled herself in Richmond's Summer Theatre class for beginning acting students. Their only real major assignment was to memorize two to three scenes from a play or a musical and perform it in front of the entire class at the end of the semester. Sasha had selected Phantom of the Opera as her main choice, but she wasn't sure if her partner would be up to it. The musical was full of passion and murder and intrigue, making it an excellent piece to help both her and her partner grow as actors. She had only met her partner a few times, and the only summarization she had made at this point was that he was handsome. Her opinion hadn't formed yet as far as how his acting ability measured up. Hopefully he would arrive soon so they could get started. Sasha's outfit

Ryan yawned and turned over in his bed, today was..well actually Ryan didn't even know the day. He was good sleeping in bed. Except for the fact the sun was in his eyes. He groaned, sitting up slightly then out of the corner of the eye he saw the clock 2:30pm. Something in the back of his mind clicked and he looked at the calender.
"SHIT!"
He jumped up throwing on a tshirt and jeans not caring about how his hair was still a little messy. He quickly brushed his teeth put on some deodorant and was out the door. He probably broke a few speeding laws in his 1996 ford bronco. But, hell his grades depended on it. He had been missing a few credits in the the art area and the only way to get credits was to join the summer theater class. Ryan wasn't into artsy fartsy stuff so he wasn't into it persay, but he was decent in acting. They had just been given their partners and today was the day they were supposed to meet and go over lines...or well something like that.
Ryan walked through the school and to the stage, He put on the best apolegetic smile and walked up to the girl he assumed was his partner.
"Uh, sorry I'm late. I sorta...um slept in."
"more like I purposely slept in..."he thought.

It had been about twenty minutes, and her partner was already late. If felt like it was an omen by the Gods of Art that whatever this partnership was going to take place was going to fail. Fail epically. Why couldn't she get a partner that was actually serious about classes and was actually serious about perfecting their abilites? It wasn't too hard to ask of the theatre gods, was it? Honestly she didn't think it was, but she wasn't a god. Plus, if she were a God she would care about herself than actually listening to the pleas of a fifteen year old girl. At around three o'clock, a guy had walked into the room looking rather disheveled.
"Uh, sorry I'm late. I sorta...um slept in."
That was a perfectly logical excuse, so it wasn't too hard to brush off his lateness. They were the only ones here, so no one could criticize her partner's tardiness. With a swift jump, she jumped off the stage and made a graceful landing before directing her attentions to him. With her hands, she quickly brushed the creases out of her black dress and then brushed back her dark curls. Sasha gave the poor boy a smile and shook her head carelessly.
"It's perfectly alright. It's the summer. Sleeping in is guaranteed."

"It's perfectly alright. It's the summer. Sleeping in is guaranteed."
A sigh of relief escaped Ryan's lips when she heard her words. He wasn't going to get a lecture about being late, honestly he wouldn't have been in the mood for one. Not that he would have shown his displeasure at being lectured he would have stood their listening but at the same time not, letting the words go in one ear and out the other. He ran a hand through his rugged hair and watched the girl who spoke landing gracefully as she jumped from the stage and smoothed out her dress, like any boy his eyes wandered-
'Come on Ryan eyes to yourself dude..SNAP out of it! She's A) to young for you B) Probably doesn't want you and C) she'll probably notice your staring at her and think your a creep. ''/i] He thought to himself.
He shook his head slightly, boys will be boys. Ryan at least had a head on his shoulders unlike most teen boys, he stood there for a second before realizing he hadn't introduced himself and held out a hand to the girl, "I'm Ryan, I promise I won't be late again." He flashed a smile at her. We'll if he was late again it would sure show in his grades. He really felt like graduating next year. And not be held back for not having enough credits. Ryan was sure that this summer was going to be interesting, and fun. Hell he might actually learn something.
