Ivory smiled and stood wondering over to her dresser "I think I might go for a swim later.. I passed by a nice looking lake on the drive up.." she started to empty her bag and put her things in the dresser. Ivory's long brown hair swayed slightly with her every movement as It glittered in the light of the room showing slight undertones of red.
The cat paused mid tongue to leg and blinked looking at the dog then huffed and stood strutting over and jumping into Ivory's leather suit case..
Ivory blinked "No rou-rou!" she took the cat out and sat him on the ground.

Xolek's eyes widened at the sound of going for a swim, he couldn't swim if his life depended on it and he was a complete failure in water, he scratched his head "I think I'll pass.. I was never much of a swimmer.." Xolek replied honesty, he had nearly drowned on a few occasions and he wasn't up to falling in the water or drowning in front of a friend again.
He picked up his sketch book he had stashed in one of the drawers and began to draw scenery supposedly he was an amazing artist, it did help him calm down, and he enjoyed it, but it was no talent to pay bills and hope to get an average wage off of if he ever became broke or had to work for his money.

"Not a swimmer?-- ah well.. suit yourself" she yawned and sat on her bed "I'll go around midnight-... I love swimming in the moonlight- mostly because I look offal in a bathing suit and like to hide.. I look like a walrus that crawled into a paper bag on the beach" she sighed.
Ivory stood again and finished packing her things in the dresser then wondered across the room strutting graceful to very ungracefully stuff the suitcase in the closet. "
"I hate being fat." she looked down at her body "I'd kill to be skinny."
Rou-Rou huffed through his nose and closed his eyes curling up on Ivory's pillow.. After a moment Ivory sighed and shoved the cat off the pillow and fluffed it violently.

"I'd love to be able to swim.. but well, I just don't want to go swimming and let everyone know I suck at it.." he said frowning placing his sketchbook on his bed. "It looks like so much fun.. I'd love to be able to swim" he added kicking his feet on the bed, he remembered eighth grade when the ninth graders had pushed him into the pool and he'd nearly drowned. a shiver when down his spine and he squirmed unevenly at the thought of it. They'd laughed and watched them until someone had jumped in to save him. He'd made a fool of himself, and he hated those kids for that.
He raised an eyebrow "Skinny isn't always fun you know? I'm skinny sure.. I hate it, of course.. you can see my rib-cages when I breath in sometimes" he said frowning, he wanted to gain a few pounds, but it seemed to be extremely hard to. His dog padded across the room to sleep at the small foot carpet he had bought for her. She looked up at him before resting her huge head between her front paws.

Ivory blinked "I depressed myself with the walrus thing" she sat on her bed and sighed looking up at the celling. Her eyes seemed empty as she zoned out into a place where she could control all the emotions stabbing at her mind. A place where every breath she took didn't hurt so much and a place where for the first time in a long time she felt loved.
Day dreaming was her release and when she went into that state of mind it left her outer body looking limp and almost dead. Her soft eyes looked almost ready to well up as she shifted her gaze to a mirror on her dresser then to her feet as she hugged her knees slowly.
Rou-Rou sensed the sadness in his master, mewing and jumping up onto her feet he purred as he laid down..

Xolek frowned, he could tell she was getting depressed, and he wasn't exactly the best person to help depressed people for he often went through depression to. Xolek smiled sitting up and looking over at Ivory "There's no need to be depressed.. trust me your beautiful" He knew she didn't really pay attention right now so he laid back on his bed crushing his blanket to make a small pillow, it was still very soft.
he grabbed his book and began to read, he had a huge collection of books in his part of his closet, he was no fast reader do to his dyslexia but he still enjoyed reading. The book was a common book he'd picked from the store in town 'Blue Twilight' by Stephen King it was nothing like that of the Twilight series that had been published not that long ago.

"Thanks... That means alot to me coming from you" she stood and started to clean to break the tension as she simply said "To be honest- I've had a crush on you since we were kids" she admitted. Ivory did her best to keep her back turned not wanting to see the male's reaction. She dropped a glass and cursed picking it up and sighing..
Rou-Rou looked up and mewed then stood wondering over to climb into the closet.
Ivory glanced breifly at the cat but didn't dare look at the male..

He smiled at her, it was nice helping someone for a change instead of being the one all depressed, He nodded when she spoke putting a small little bookmark in his book and placing it on his bed he looked up. Blushing when she confessed that she liked him he looked back down despite her not looking in his direction. He tried not to do his nervous laugh when he was a little bit unsure of things so he bit his lower lip.
"I didn't know you felt that way of me Ivory... I mean, I like you, a lot but I was kind of embarrassed to tell you" he sat up scratching his head. He continued to look down half expecting her to be the one bursting out laughing.

Ivory held the glass in her hand just looking at it but listening to him "I never thought you liked me back because of my weight-" she looked at him still holding the glass and didn't speak. She just looked at him with her light eyes unsure of how to react or how to feel..
The silence bothered Rou-Rou who could sense the tension and mewed a bit trying to break Ivory's gaze away from the male..
Ivory glanced at the cat and put the glass down lifting it and petting it as she held it in her arms like a baby. After watching the cat for a moment she looked back at Xolek.

He didn't bother looking up from the floor, he felt weird admitting something like this. Xolek smiled however "You should know me bye now, I.. don't care about weight, height appearance.. it's stupid to love someone because they weight a certain amount, or are a certain height" he said biting into his lip again nervously. he put his feet under the bed.
"But I do really like you Ivory, and don't let my auctions or words fool you" he said with a heart filled laugh and a mix of nervousness. She was pretty, and she should know that from someone who would love her for being her, no matter her size. Xolek was small, obvious to see his ribcage when he breathed in, and he only really had muscles in his arms that sometimes fooled people.

Ivory blushed and walked over sitting on his bed and letting rou-rou go then glancing at him again with her light eyes. "Remember how I said I turned to girls because the person I wanted- didn't seem like they wanted me back?" she looked him over analyzing his mood..
Rou-Rou walked off in a puff..

Xolek didn't raise his head until Ivory sat down next to him, but he wouldn't quite look her in the eyes, for he was sure he would start to blush quite a bit if he did again, he raised an eyebrow when she reminded him, thinking a moment he watched as Rou-Rou walked off in a puff for the cat wasn't getting attention anymore. he looked down at his feet "That person.. was me?" he asked, feeling like a jerk now, but he wasn't good with showing emotions.
Xolek looked up at her again biting his lip like he was continuously doing now. "I'm sorry.. if it was me.. I never meant to make you hurt like that.. it's just I'm not good at showing emotions" he said scratching the back of his head.

Ivory shook her head "It's okay... I know" she smiled at him and her face warmed up to it's glow again making her eyes and lips stand out more.. She then looked away remembering they're conversation from earlier. "But I also get that you like someone else" she closed her eyes and her color faded a bit again.
Ivory rubbed the knee of her dress to try and get some mud off of it from when she had been climbing and exploring earlier. After a moment she grew frustrated and stopped sighing deeply.

Xolek bit into his lip again nearly drawing blood from it but before he could he stopped, he grinned to stop from a stupid smile crossing his face. He looked up when she spoke of the conversation they'd had earlier going back to the very recent memory "Yeah.. but.. I'm not sure he likes me, he doesn't really show it... and he kissed my half brother so i don't know anymore" he looked away shamefully Xolek was still mad at the guy but yet he'd been one of the first to greet and talk to him here.
Xolek washed his memory going in a trance of thoughts like he did sometimes when he was unsure of things, quickly however he looked back at Ivory and smiled "I'm sorry if your mixed up and not sure of anything either.. I feel the same way" his smile quickly faded and it was replaced by a frown.

Ivory stood and wondered up to her dresser and picked up a small hand held mirror and looked into it.. after a moment she wiped a tear away and put it down sitting on her bed patting the spot beside her hoping her cat could console her. Rou-Rou however ignored her and licked himself...
"I don't blame you rou-rou" she hugged her knees and looked at Xolek then back at her knee caps..
