Today was just like any other day for him, with nothing happening that was strange or out of the norm. Dodger had spent most of his day inside, watching random TV shows and the occasional movie that would come on. In an attempt to break himself out of his boredom, he reached for his keys and drove to the video store that was only a few miles away from the dorm. As he wondered along the numerous aisles of movies, his phone went off in his back pocket. One new message from Sarafina.
He left the store without renting anything, and sped off towards the dorm, where he would be meeting Sarafina. She said she wanted to talk in private, which immediately made him think something just wasn't right. Since he never obeyed the speed limit signs anyway, it just gave him more incentive to speed. Dodger parked his car behind Oliver, and walked up the steps until he was at her door. Dodger knocked on the door, awaiting to hear what she needed to say.

Sarafina was pacing back and forth in her room, she was nervous, more nervous then she's ever been. Even though she was in her dorm she heard the sound of Ruby's engine witch was a clear sign that was Dodger was here, it was a few minutes later she heard a knock on the door. She walked over to the door and opened it, a weak smile appeared on her face "Hey, come on in." She said moving to the side to let him come on. When she closed the door behind him, she thought about how she was gonna be able to tell him, after a few seconds she looked over at Dodger, as she looked over at him she felt a lump in her throat.
After standing there looking like a complete idoit she slowly gathered her courage and finally decided to come out with it "Dodger...............I'm late." She said to him, hoping he got what she was saying, she found out saying it like that would be easier then telling him straight out. But what she was afraid of Dodger rejecting her because of it, but he had to know that she was telling the truth to him.

Dodger smiled as she opened the door and welcome him inside, closing the door shut behind him. He studied her expression, and noticed the deep concern that was all over herself. Sarafina wasn't very hard to read right now, and he had a feeling deep down that she was about to tell him something that was going to change both of their lives. "Sarafina, is there something wrong?" He asked her, looking at her with a concerned look on his face.
"So that means you're..." She didn't have to say it, he already knew what she meant. He wrapped an arm around her, kissing her on the forehead. "For our sanity, I sure hope this kid acts more than you and less like me." He said with a grin.

Sarafina knew that telling Dodger was the right thing to do, afterall she knew Dodger was the father. That smile that Dodger had on his face gave her comfort to tell him, she was expecting Dodger to pull some kinda not ready to be a father stunt, words couldn't explain her feelings if he did, but when she saw the reaction she was happy to see that Dodger was accepting it. Sarafina knew that she got lucky by ending up with Dodger, she loved him so much, Dodger was her life source and one of the very reasons why she was staying at Richmond.
When she felt Dodger's arm around her, a smile appeared on her face she rested her head on Dodger's chest. She was gonna have a family with Dodger even if it was happening earlier the expected but still she was happy, Sarafina rested her hands on her chest as she felt his lips touch her forehead, a chuckle escaped her "I hope so to." She said softly to him, "I honestly was expecting you to be a little shocked." Sarafina looked up at him, looking into his faded blue eyes.

He sat down her bed and wrapped an arm around her, pulling her in closer and kissing her on the forehead again. "This kid is going to be the most adorable thing on Earth." He couldn't say that he wasn't a little bit shocked, because neither of them really saw this coming. But he had a plan in effect and so far, everything seemed to be working like he wanted it to. He looked at Sarafina with a smile. "So, how about that snowcone date?" Most people decided to see a movie for a date, but Dodger loved snowcones almost as much as he loved Sarafina.

Sarafina followed him to the bed, then felt his arm around her again, she loved feeling Dodger's arm around her, she felt safe and protected, like nobody could touch her. When she heard his comment about their kid being the most adorable kid on Earth she couldn't help but chuckle, "I can't disagree with you there." She said smiling, Sarafina knew it would be tough road to raise the baby, but it was a chance she more then willing to take that chance, since she knew that she had Dodger's support. When she heard him speak again, she looked up at him and heard him mention the Snowcone Date, "I'm ready when you are." She said smiling at him.

Dodger took her by the hand and as they walked down the stairs, the two of them were presented with a decision. "Which one shall we take? Challenger or Ducati?" Dodger said to her with a smile, letting her take her pick. He had decided that once he left for college in the fall, he would be taking the Ducati with him and leaving Ruby here. She seemed a little surprised by his decision, but he had made up his mind about that. Besides, he knew she wouldn't mind taking Ruby on the occasional drive. Besides himself, she was the only person he trusted with his car.

Sarafina felt Dodger take her hand as they walked down the stairs to the parking lot where his Challenger and Ducati were sharing a parking space. When she heard Dodger take her pick she looked at the Challenger and the Ducati, she smiled " How about the Ducati?" She said to him. For some reason she noticed that Dodger wasn't acting the smartass that he usually was, she could easly tell something was on his mind. But she didn't want to ask, all she did was smile that sweet smile to him.

"Good choice." She was on to him, judging by that look she was giving him. She would find out sooner or later the plan that he had in store for her, but for now he was just going to let her guess. He smiled at her and waited for her to take her seat. Dodger hadn't taken the Ducati out for a drive since he bought it, mainly because he liked his car better. But that wasn't a surprise to anybody, especially Sarafina.
"You might want to hold on." Speed limits didn't exist whenever Dodger was on the road, and his impressive record of speeding tickets was good enough prove of that. With a smirk, he put the keys in the ignition and the Ducati was ready to roll. "Snowcone stand, here we come."

Sarafina waited for Dodger to get on, she put her hair in a ponytail then climbed on behind him just sitting there as Dodger got himself adjusted. When she heard him tell that she might want to hold on, she placed her hands around Dodger's waist "Oh don't worry I am." She said smiling.
She heard the Ducati purr underneath them, she wondered what Dodger had planned for them it was obvious he had something planned. She wondered how fast Dodger was gonna go on the Ducati since he had a the need for speend, but as long as they didn't get killed she didn't care.

He raised an eyebrow at her comment but decided to take her word for it. She was no stranger to the way he liked to gun it at yellow lights just to see if he could make it in time. His excuse was always the same when his driving was put into question. If you learn to drive in Texas, it was almost required for you to drive like a moron from time to time. "Good idea." Besides Sarafina and Ruby, snow cones were his favorite thing in the world. He'd take one to graduation if the teachers would allow it. Hell, he'd just do it anyway.
