Tam wandered into the food court, absolutely ravenous and feeling appropriately sorry for herself as she did everytime she decided to go for a 'little run'. She hated running. She hated getting all tired and sweaty and...even she found it impossible to remain looking as gorgeous as she was with sweat dripping off her. Not even tight lycra could remedy that. There was nothing that impossibly tight lycra couldn't remedy in the way of 'admiring' looks and wolf whistles but alas, it was so. Life was tough being Tamara George.
People just didn't seem to appreciate that looking stunning was so tiring. Not to mention keeping up on the whole ideals of absolutely adoring herself, catering for her vanity by looking in absolutely every reflective surface she could find and spending an inordinate amount of time grooming herself, it was surprising she even had the time to nag Sage or Semp but no! She managed both. She continued to reflect on these things as she moved to scout out a table, her gym clothes a rather large contradiction to her equally huge mountain of food...
OOC: So much for adding things.. xDD

You know, for a guy my size, you'd think I'd have to eat an entire cow a day as a bare minimum to stay alive. But no. For right now, it's quite the opposite. I hardly eat anything anymore aside from when Sassifrass has invited me over to her dorm for pizza, and even then, all I have is just a whole box to myself, which is considered a "light" meal. Aside from that, I really don't eat much due to all this depression. My level of caring had dropped drastically and I just couldn't be bothered to eat.
So when I found myself at the food court after having been wandering around Richmond for hours, I figured my subconscious was telling me that I needed to eat. Everything smelled so good.... hell, I didn't even like seafood and it smelled so good. But even now, I didn't want anything. What used to be a gnawing hunger in my stomach was now just a numb emptiness, so why bother now? I knew that the longer I waited, the higher risk it was of me getting sick from eating a lot, but hell if I cared.
I turned around to leave, but as soon as I did that, I saw Tam seated with a fairly large mound of food that completely threw me off. The amount of food she had set out before her looked just about how much I would have normally. Having nothing else to do, I went over and sat down opposite of her. "Howdy."

Tam glanced up when she felt somewhat sit beside her. She would have smiled but didn't think this was such a good idea since her mouth was so full of food that if she so much as tried to move in an action that wasn't chewing something explosive would probably happen so she gave him a wave instead before her face fell into a frown.
He was looking thin.
"Eat!" She commanded when she'd finally swallowed, pushing some of her chips towards him.
"And don't bother protesting else I'll bloody well force feed you. Do you know how worried Sage and I are?! You'll get sick if you're not careful and I won't show you the slightest bit of sympathy...pfft, howdy, for gods sakes!" She cried, muttering the last bit as she took a sip of her drink. She didn't quite know why but whenever she so much as clapped eyes on Semp nowadays a stream of nagging come pouring out...

No sooner had I sat down did Tam start her signature nagging. I didn't mind it, really. In all honesty, I found it quiet entertaining since her British accent was so much more smooth than my ragged-jagged harsh Southern one. Not only that, but she was like the mother I never had, despite her being nearly two feet shorter than me. I still obeyed her the same way I would my own mother -- not Demeter. But a normal human mother.
When she commanded me to eat, I immediately went submissive and did as I was told, though I ate slowly to prevent any stomach aches. Whatever these chips were, they tasted incredibly good. For a few moments I focused on the chips more than Tam since that painful, gnawing feeling in my stomach was coming back, but eventually I looked back up at her, ignoring the pain. "What're y' doin' 'ere other than takin' up 'bout half the food court's supply of food?"

"Keep eating," She said in response to his question before relaxing slightly and gave a shrug, leaning back against the back of her seat and patting her stomach.
"Went for a run then decided I was bloody well starved so I came here...and you know it's rude to comment on how much people are eating, especially female people, I'm awfully sensitive you know," She pouted before sending him a teasing grin and sitting back up again.
"I'm never running again, 'good for wellbeing' my bloody arse...maybe I should take up tai chai...or swimming, you know apart from the whole chlorine in your hair thing, I quite like swimming," She commented absently as she helped herself too some chips.
"So! Thought about our house hunting yet? I've been trying to get a hold of Sage but we always seem to miss each other!" She said in aggravation.

I was beginning to think that Tam wasn't going to be satisfied with me until I gained about five or so pounds, so I did as she said, but still I ate slowly. I hadn't realized how hungry I was until, within a matter of minutes, all the chips I had been given were gone. Figuring that she'd just shove something else in my face, I started picking stuff off of the other plates of food she had.
"Yeah, I tried runnin' once. Didn't work out so well." I commented. "Swimmin'..... I ain't a huge fan of swimmin'." I was having flashbacks of when Tam and I went skinny dipping together, but along with that came a whole wave of unwanted memories, so I quickly forced the thoughts to the back of my mind, picking out more pieces of food for myself. "House huntin'? No, I haven't. We better get t' it. Graduation's in, what.... a few days?"

Tam gave a laugh. Somehow she just found the idea of Semp running entertaining, it wasn't that she didn't think he could he was just...so tall and gangly she couldn't help but imagine long legs flailing all over the place.
"I forgot you don't like water," She said absently as she pushed the food closer to him before giving another laugh.
"Hey, do you remember that time when we went..." She began before she paused, her laughter halting...now she actually remembered it was actually that funny a story...she cleared her throat slightly before moving the conversation on swiftly.
"Well if you can drag Sage out of his oh so busy life style we could try and schedule it sometime this week? I like the idea of those waterfront estates...but seeing as you don't like water...might be a bit of a problem," She laughed.

"Eh, jus' the ocean s'what I don't like." I said, smiling a bit when she pushed more food toward me. Gah, I was so damn hungry. I didn't know how the hell I managed to stay away from food this long. I will never do that again. I started slowly hacking my way into the new food supply. "Long as I can see the opposite shore, I don't mind it."
When she cut off her next sentence abruptly, I knew what she was gonna say. However, along with that came a whole new wave of memories that I really didn't want to remember right now. It took me a few moments to realize my face had fallen to a somber look, so I quickly replaced it with a small, forced smile. "We should go skinny dippin' again. Get a whole group t'gether 'n' do it." I said, more to distract myself than anything. I glanced up at Tam and shrugged. "I'll try t' do that. Can't make no promises, though. 'n' really, I don't mind if y'all wanna live on the waterfront. I jus' don't gotta go down in the water."

"You can probably stand for the most part, it'd probably have to be pretty deep to actually drown you," She chuckled unloading some of the plates off her tray so that she could actually see what she had.
"You know after this, I'm probably not going to need to eat for days," She laughed absently despite the fact that she was still happiy munching away. She couldn't even quite remember the last time she'd scoffed like this...last time she'd attempted running she supposed. She didn't say anything for a moment despite the fact that she had heard him, moving onto the next portion of chips feeling ever so slightly awkward. That memory still made her cringe.
"I dunno if that's such a good idea...if last times anything to go by," She said with a light laugh.
"Waterfront places it is! Ooo we'll have to go shopping!!" She said happily, completely losing any sight of the awkward reservations she'd had just moments before.

The thought of drowning really didn't appeal to me, so I just made the silent vow to only stick my feet in that damned salty water and not go any deeper than my ankles. And besides, I heard that drowning was a horrible way to die, so I'd only avoid the ocean even more now.
I couldn't help but snicker when she said she probably wasn't going to eat for a few days. "I'll most likely end up with havin' three dinners tonight," I said, smirking a little bit. The food she had supplied me with was nearly halfway gone by now, but I kept hacking away at it slowly, determined to satisfy myself without throwing it all up afterward.
"Prob'ly true..." I added a bit more quietly to what she said about the skinny dipping. All I had tried to do was make the best of the situation concerning that memory, but it had caused everyone so much pain and trouble that there really couldn't be anything good you could do about it. So instead of lingering over that, I switched my mindset over to the thought of a new house. "Shoppin'? For what?"
