Kaleb finally exited the Gucci store with a brand new black blazer. He put his wallet back in his pocket then started to walk over to the foodcourt his stomach was growling telling him to get something to eat, he looked around at the fastfood places but deicded on Subway, he put his order in and waited for it. Finally when he got it he sat at a table, after finishing he threw his trash away, then started to walk towards an exit when he heard male voices more then one, then a female voice. He turned his head to see a few Permian Panthers talking to a girl. He had seen that girl before at Richmond but he waited to see if the girl knew the guys, but highly doubted since Richmond and Permian were pratically at eachothers throats.

Evangeline was just walking through the Richmond Mall, minding her own business and grabbing some lunch from the foodcourt on her lunch break, when some guys from the Permian football team started heckling her while she was in line, recognising her from the big game the other weekend. "Hey Ricky, look what we've got here...We've got ourselves a Trojan. Why dont you come over here and talk to us about switching teams hotstuff?", and other comments like that. Evie gave a sigh as she ignored them while she was waiting in line for lunch. After what seemed like ages, her salad and sushi was ready, so she thanked the person behind the counter and went to walk off, but a strong hand reached out and circled around her wrist, stopping her. She struggled against his grip, but it was no use. "Hey! Kaleb saw that the girl became really aggitated when one of the Permians put his hand around her waist, Kaleb wanted to mind his own business but how would he when there was about three to four guys and one girl. He took a deep breath then quickly walked over to the group, "Hey Permians, you heard the girl let her go." He said glaring at him, then gave the girl a soft look letting her know that she would be okay there was no way he was going to leave without making sure that the girl was safe and okay. Evie was becoming quite annoyed, quite fast when a guy she recognised from school but had never met came over and tried to call them off. Like they were going to listen to what a Trojan told them to do. She met his eyes, and gave him a "watch this" kind of look back, and quickly assessed the situation, then sprung into action when the guy still hadnt let go of her after another 30 seconds. Letting her lunch fall from her captive hand, it dropped on the guys expensive looking shoes, spilling salad dressing and soy sauce all over them. She smirked "Oops, clumsy me..." Well, he flipped his lid "ARGH!! MY NEW SHOES!!" As he bent slightly to observe the damage, the grip he had on her hand loosened, and she took advantage of that by grabbing his wrist and kneeing him in the groin. While he was reeling in the pain of that, she took his arm and spun him around so the he had himself in a chokehold type thing. "Don't you ever touch me without my permission again. Understand?" Kaleb was watching the girl, she was bad looking at all, she was actually cute. A smirk formed on his face when he got the "watch this" look from her, and what he saw almost made his mouth drop. But he held it shut thinking he would probably look like a complete dumbass with his mouth dropped, he was impressed with this girl. When the rest of the Richmond guys backed off he let out a wolf whistle, "I'm impressed...I'm Kaleb." He said introducing himself to her, still keeping his distance so he wasn't the one getting his asked kicked next.

She looked on with a smirk as the Permians scattered. Nodding to herself, she was pulled out of her glory moment by the guy who had come over with the intention of saving her wolf whistling her. He was impressed? Duh. She gave a wry smile as he stayed his distance. Obviously he didnt want his ass served to him on a platter like that douchebag she'd just whupped. Evangeline gave him a look over. He was actually pretty hot. "Kaleb huh? Nice name. Im Evangeline. Thanks for the assistance, by the way, but I can look after myself. Perks of being an army brat." Yeah she could tell he was trying to win her over with his hot body and charming ways, but she wasnt gonna be smitten that easily. Besides, weren't guys turned on by the thrill of the chase? Kaleb watched her carefully she was very easy on the eyes that was for sure. So her name was Evangeline, it was a very nice for her. But what got him wondering was where she learned those moves, he never seen a girl go like that after a Permian before, it took a lot of guys indeed, even when there's more then one Permian at that. Kaleb watched her carefully, then smiled at her words, "It's good to know that you are one of very little girls who can take care of herself." He said to her witha small smile then noticed her spilled lunch on the floor, "I know we just met and all, but can I buy you lunch? It's the least I can do for you putting on a good show." He said with a sweet smile on his face.

Evie was eyeing him cautiously. "Yeah well, my dads big on the whole self defence thing and stuff, so....you know." she said kind of no commitally with a shrug. Her stomach rumbled as he mentioned lunch. She was pretty hungry....but she could get food back on base at the mess. She was seriously considering taking up the offer, but she figured that if he really wanted to take her to lunch, he'd ask again if she turned him down, and she wasnt one to give in so easily...not anymore. Evie gave a small smile, "Look, thats really sweet of you and all, but I have to get back to work, my break is pretty much over and I still have a ten minute drive....I'll see you around at school, right?" She felt bad as she was about to turn and walk away, but she was fairly certain she'd see him again soon.
