Blaise walked up onto the pier and rested her arms on the railing. She looked off into the ocean and watched as the waves rolled in. She pulled out her phone and scrolled through her contacts until she found Pippa's number. Hey Pippa, can you meet me at the pier there's something I wanted to ask you? [/size][/b] Blaise slid her phone back into her pocket and lit up a cigarette. She smiled as she thought of ways to ask the girl what she needed to ask. She wasn't sure how her reaction would be at all. Blaise took a drag from her cigarette then sat up on top of the railing. |

Pippa was carefully applying her usual black eyeliner when her phone went off next to her, scaring the crap out of her. "Jeez!" She yelped as her arm jerked and a nice thick line of black went over her eyelid instead of across it. "NO NO NO!" Pipp quickly ran from her vanity mirror to the bathroom where she furiously began to scrub at her eye with a wash cloth soaked in makeup remover. Her eyeliner was good...so good that once it dried it would be there for a while. She groaned as it smeared on hey eye leaving a thick black smudge. She looked like she'd been punched in the face.
"Wonderful...just bloody wonderful." She felt like screaming as she threw the wash cloth down into the sink and walked back to retrieve her phone. She scrolled through her messages to find out just who had decided to interrupt her and scare the crap out of her so early in the morning. When she saw the message was from Blaise she realzied she couldn't even pretend to be mad...the feeling her her heart and stomach was anything but anger. She quickly opened her sidekick and typed a response.
I'll be there in a few
Setting the phone down Pipp looked into the vanity mirror, the black smudge definitely looked like she'd gotten into a fight. She sighed and picked up her makeup kit, selecting a new brush she took a swipe a the black eyeshadow she barely used, sliding it over her lid evenly once it was covered in soot colored shade. She matched her eyes to one another perfectly, realizing she now looked like a complete goth...but kind of liked it. She smirked at herself in the mirror, adjusting her black halter top and shorts before leaving the room and heading down to the pier. |

Blaise was sitting on top of the railing swinging her feet while she waited for Pippa to respond. Her phone went off in her pocket which sent butterflies through her stomach and caused her heart to start racing. She leaned back to slide her hand into her pocket and pulled out her phone. As she pulled her phone out her lighter fell out and fell all the way down to the water. It hit the water with a little plop. God damn it! She muttered to herself. That was her favorite zippo lighter, she had it for years and now it was floating in the damn ocean.
She took another long drag of her cigarette then pulled out a flask. Blaise took a big drink from it then took another drag from her cigarette. She couldn't wait for Pippa to get there. It has been a few days since she has seen her. They have just been so busy with work and other things that they didn't have time to see each other. As time went by she grew more and more nervous.

Pippa tried not to run to the pier, but it was hard knowing what was waiting for her there. God, I'm pathetic She thought to herself as she once again forced herself to slow her pace. She'd have driven her truck here but a recent fight with her dad on the phone had left her without extra cash and that included gas money. If she had known that he could call and put a limit on her cards to punish her she never would have pissed him off.
At least it wasn't too hot and she'd worn her black and pink star bikini beneath her clothes so she could jump in the water if it got worse. She remembered her eyeliner incident at the thought of swimming and hoped her eyeshadow mixed with water wouldn't make her Tam's beloved 'panda eyes' again. She sighed as she walked, finally reaching the pier. Now she walked faster, it was even harder not to when she could see Blaise standing at the end of the pier.
"Hey!" She called out when she'd gotten nearly half way to her, "Going to share?" She asked, motioning towards the flask and cigarette. She smirked as she reached her friend and grabbed the cigarette right from her lips, taking a drag on it. "Thank you". Pipp smiled and flirted with her eyes as she took another drag from the cig. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest at the sight of Blaise, it seemed no matter what her friend wore she always looked amazingly hot.
Pippa looked away, afraid her face would turn red of embaressment if Blaise caught her checking her out again. She held the cigarette in her lips and hopped up on the pier railing, taking one more drag before hanging the cig back to Blaise. "So..whats up?" |

Blaise smiled as wide as can be when she heard Pippa behind her.
"Hey there" She said back to Pippa with a shaky voice. This made her face turn a little red. "Yea of course I will share but I hope you have a lighter mines in the ocean right now." She looked over the railing again trying to see if she could spot it. Blaise was in board shorts and a t-shirt with a black undershirt on since she just got done surfing not too long ago.
She looked over the railing again then turned back to Pippa. "Uhm hold on a second I want my zippo back." She smirked a little then jumped up onto the railing. She gave Pippa a wink then dove off of the pier falling about 50feet before she hit the water. Once she hit the water she found her lighter in about five minutes. Blaise quickly surfaced and swam over to the ladder. She pulled herself out and climbed back up to the top of the pier walking back over to Pippa.

Pippa laughed as Blaise told her to hold on and jumped off the pier to retrieve her lighter. She watched over her shoulder as Blaise searched for it in the nearly clear water. She couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Blaise had literally gone above and beyond to get the lighter back. When she climbed back out of the water, up the ladder to rejoin Pipp on the pier all Pippa could do was shake her head.
"I could have bought you a new lighter you know..." It was only after she said it that she remembered she actually couldn't because of her lack of cash and cut off credit cards. She shook her head, it didn't matter anyway cause Blaise had already retrieved the lighter. After a few seconds of silence she realized that she was staring at Blaise intently. "Sorry...so what did you want to tell me?" |

Blaise realized that it probably looked insane that she just jumped off the pier to get a stupid lighter. But the it was more than a lighter to her. "I can't lose this lighter. It was my best friends and she's well she's gone now." She shook her head to get that out of her mind. It's been a while since the accident and she didn't want to talk about it right now.
She smiled as she looked at Pippa who was staring at her. Her heart skipped a few beats and she got a lot of butterfly's in her stomach. She walked up next to Pippa and leaned on the railing. Blaise took a deep breath before she asked her the question she has been dying to ask. "Well I was wondering if maybe you would want to be my girlfriend?" Her palms grew sweaty and her voice a little shaky. It has been so long since she asked a girl to go out with her. She wasn't even sure how to anymore really. She shook her head and blushed as she replayed how that must of sounded. Way to sound dumb slick[/i] She thought to herself.

Pippa had looked down as Blaise said that her friend was gone, "Oh...sorry." Even though she hadn't known she still felt bad for suggesting a replacement. Nevertheless she sighed and once again was staring at Blaise, her brown eyes locked on the other girls face. When Blaise spoke again it was the words that Pippa had expected...yet somehow seemed so distant and unreal all the same.
She smiled widely, "Yeah" It was literally the only word she could get out as her palms were now sweating and her arms seemed to be shaking slightly. Now suddenly she was incredibly more nervous than before. She opened her mouth to speak again and nothing came out, instead she looked at Blaise hopelessly. She felt like a complete moron for not being able to do or say anything...all she could do was smile and stare.
"Wow...you must think I'm a total freak now," Pippa laughed as she finally found her voice. "Its just...well even though that's what I expected you to ask its still kinda unreal for me..." |

Blaise was so glad that her answer was yes. She didn't know what she would have done if she said no. Her heart was pounding practically out of her chest and her stomach was doing flips. She hasn't been this happy in a very long time. Blaise didn't know how to react exactly all she could do was smile and look at Pippa.
She pulled herself up next to Pippa and smiled then turned to see the sun bouncing off of the ocean. "I wasn't expecting you to say yes, I'm glad that you did." She turned back to Pippa and smiled again. Blaise turned her feet around so that they were dangling over the railing again so she could see Pippa a little better.
"And no I don't think your a total freak, you just seem as nervous as I am." She winked at the other girl and smirked a little flirting with her eyes. Blaise moved a strand of Pippa's hair out of her face so she could see her eyes a little better. She put a hand gently on the side of her face then moved in a little closer. She looked down at her soft lips then back up to her beautiful eyes. Her heart started pounding harder and harder. Just kiss her already Blaise![/i] The voice in her head was screaming at her to kiss Pippa. She has been waiting a long time to do it, but she never thought she would be so nervous to do so.

Pippa laughed at Blaise's words, "Yeah I guess so...I just...I really like you and..." She closed her mouth quickly and bit her bottom lip, forcing herself to shut up. "I'm glad you asked me." She blurted out just before Blaise leaned in towards her.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" Pippa blurted out as she realized she'd just ruined the moment between them. She quickly covered her face with her hands and started laughing. "I am horrible at all this I know!" She moved her hands away from her face slightly to peer at Blaise over them a small smirk on her face. After a few seconds of silence she moved her hands and quickly kissed Blaise on the lips. "Thats for me ruining the moment." She said with a small smile. |

Blaise smiled back after Pippa kissed her. She knew that shew was nervous as she was too. She laughed a little then moved in closer to kiss her a little bit more passionately. She put her hand back on Pippa's face and put her over hand on the small of her back. She leaned in slowly with a smile and kissed Pippa's soft beautiful lips gently over and over again. Her heart was pounding and her face turned a little red.
"So you really like me and what? You aren't going to get away without saying the rest of that sentence." She smiled as she teased her and tried to get the information out of her. Blaise turned around and jumped off the railing. She ran over to her jeep and got something for Pippa out of it then ran back over to her.
"I got this for you today." She handed her a flask and a red rose. She smiled as she handed it to her then looked her up and down. "Now you don't have to drink out of mine all the time. Not that I mind at all." She winked then got back up on the railing. She held her hand out so she could hold Pippa's.

Pippa laughed, avoiding her question as she pulled Blaise in to kiss her again before she jumped off the railing. When she gave her the flask and rose Pippa smiled wide, "But I like stealing yours" She said with a small giggle, pulling Blaise closer to her. "But thank you" She kissed her on the lips softly as she took the presents from her hands and set them next to her on the railing. She then wrapped her arms around her girlfriend and kissed her. |

Blaise chuckled at the fact that Pippa liked to steal her flask. "Well you can still steal it if you must." She gave her a quick wink and kissed her again. She felt like she was floating on top of the clouds. She was so incredibly happy to finally be kissing Pippa let alone being her girlfriend. She felt herself falling for her hard and hoped that she felt the same way. "Your welcome baby." Blaise gave her a warm smile and looked into her eyes.
She stood there holding Pippa in her arms while looking out onto the ocean. She glanced over at her surfboard then at the waves then at Pippa. A smirk came across her face as she got the idea to teach her how to surf. "Do you know how to surf?" She asked with a mischievous tone in her voice.

Pippa shook her head, once again grabbing her girlfriends flask and taking a sip. "Nooope" She answered cheerfully before jumping off of the railing and onto the wooden pier, the wooden planks creakeing beneath her as she did. She gave Blaise a quick smirk before handing the flask back and stripping down to her bikini. She jumped over the pier railing and into the icy cold ocean water below, resurfacing to look up at Blaise. "Are you going to teach me or hang around gawking all day?" She giggled as she quickly swam around in a circle, occasionally looking up at Blaise with a sly smirk.

She looked at Pippa and watched her as she jumped off of the pier. Leaning over the railing she smiled down at Pippa and watched her swim for a little while. She grabbed her surfboard and strapped it to her ankle. She got up on the railing with her surfboard then jumped off. Blaise let go of her board right before hitting the ice cold ocean. She landed in the water about three feet away from Pippa. Once she surfaced she shook her head a little and looked over at Pippa.
"We have to swim away from the pier a little ways first so we don't hit it. Actually I should say so YOU don't hit it." She pulled herself up onto the surfboard and held her hound out to help Pippa up on the board and she could paddle the both of them out. She's never really taught anyone how to surf but hey how could it be. Pippa wasn't an idiot she should pick it up in no time.
