The sunlight dripped through the windows of the church as a pregnant woman sat on her knees at the alter. The colored streams of light dripped across her face and made the tears on her cheeks stand out.
Meanwhile outside a small brunette boy sat in the garden watching the world pass him by. He had his mother's eyes and smile and seemed quite happy to see everyone who passed by..
Ivory blinked and looked around the room "Kenton?-- baby boy?" she stood and began wondering the alter searching for her son under all the benches..

There was nothing special that had gone on between the senior year and after-wards his life as a high-school graduate. He'd often go see his mother, and he did go to college for 2 years. He looked down at the child who walked with him.. Lynn looked up at him and she smiled. "Dad? Where are we going.." but before she could finish she noticed a little boy that was ahead of them "Daddy? Can I go play with the boy?" she didn't allow him to reply because she'd let go of his hand and was running off towards the boy.
Editon followed making sure Lynn didn't do anything mean, for she got upset when she didn't get her way, noticing there was no parent with the boy he walked up to him "Young one.. where is your parents" he said with a smile, Lynn clenched to his leg like she did sometimes.

The small boy began to use sign language with a grin on his face as he waved to Lynn..
The very pregnant Ivory bursted out of the church and gasped "KENTON!" she walked up and tapped the small boy who turned and smiled throwing his arms around her legs with his head on her stomach.. Ivory looked like she had been panicked and took a breath of relief then closed her eyes for a moment. She was still just as pretty as she had been in school but now seemed to glow even more with the pregnancy..
Ivory paused and opened her eyes looking at the man..
"Editon?"

Editon frowned and looked down at the child, he began sign language at the boy again but slowly lowered his hands as a woman yelled for her child perhaps. He didn't bother to look up right away he looked down at Lynn who was wavering back and forth when she got bored. she put her index finger in her mouth and looked up at him giggling "Well Lynn" he said patting her head he got up from leaning over and looked at he person who Kenton clenched to, his eyes widened for a moment, she had been a senior like him at Richmond High.
"Ivory?" He smiled his eyes glittering. "How have you been? Gosh it's been forever.. is that you and-" he stopped knowing he was asking to many questions, his daughter tugged at his sleeve and he looked down again "Hm?" she motioned him to get closer so she could talk to him in his ear. "I want Icecream.." she said going back to clenching his leg he grinned and looked up again 'We'll go soon" he said, looking back at Ivory.

"I've been busy-.. Kenton was born deaf so I've been running all over the country for specialists" she stroked her son's head "he's worth it" she smiled at her son.
Ivory looked at the man "I was a cop but I'm on maternity leave with this little boy" she touched her stomach "Plus I have an older one who is with Daddy at work right now.." she laughed "so super busy-- how have you been?"
Kenton watched the little girl carefully and tipped his head trying to read her lips when she spoke- it wasn't exactly one of his talents.. His parents taught him how to talk through signs so he barely had a comprehension of the English language unless it was signed out to him slowly..

Editon smiled, the boy looked like he was loved by her family. he looked at Lynn remembering almost loosing her when she didn't breathe after first being born, they'd saved the little one and now 5 years later here she was smiling and laughing a lot. Editon looked up when she told him what she'd done over the years, she'd done much more then he had, having a boring life.
"Well I graduated took a year off then studied for 2 years at a college.. mechanics to be exact, I build cars fix them.. but it's not exactly fun" he looked down at Lynn again "Then I met this ones mother, we had a few years of an affair but she got sent to jail, so I'm lucky to have Lynn now" Editon looked down at her. She was already smiling and looking at him "She want's ice-cream.. would you like to come along?" he said smiling he looked back at Ivory.

"Sure!" Ivory smiled then looked back at her son and signed something.. after a moment he frowned and signed sorry grabbed his mom's hand and walked beside her.
Ivory smiled at him and nodded "You two lead the way" she said softly.

Editon looked down at his daughter who was no longer clenching his leg, but playing with her long dirty blonde hair, Editon and her looked similiar in that way for she had his eyes and hair, but the little bit darker skinned skin of her mother "Lynn, let's go then" He said with a smile, she looked up and whispered 'They are coming to?" before putting her finger back in her mouth, Editon looked over at Ivory then back at her "I do believe so" he said with a smile, she nodded "Okay!" she spat out.
Editon laughed as she walked in front of him. She was bubbly like he had been as a little boy, finally however they reached a small ice-cream shop and she sat on the small bench waiting for them "I want some Triple chocolate daddy" she said smiling and looking at him "We'll see remember you can't have milk" He said picking her up and helping her to her feet again, he opened hte door for Ivory and her son.

Ivory smiled and directed her son though the door then nodded to Edi "Thanks" she smiled then stroked her son's head. After a moment of being stroked the boy ran straight for the cookie dough and pointed to it signing 'for me' next he pointed to Ivory's favorite Mint.. 'for mama' he signed.. then he pointed to a cheesecake ice cream 'for baby' he signed..
Ivory laughed "no.. baby is still in mama so he can share with mama" she said out lould as she signed the very same thing to her son.
The boy smiled and nodded.

Editon walked Lynn to the front and she instinitly went to the triple chocolate he laughed and looked at the one of the people behind the desk "Is it lactose free?" he asked curiously the guy looked at him "Well not this one, but there's another version that's lactose free" he said, Editon looked down at his daughter and explained she nodded okay and he told the man he'd like it, He looked at what was on the menu and frowned for a moment. "Well.. I'd like a Rocky Road" he said grinning he dug into his pocket and took out a wad of money giving him a ten.
When they'd been given the ice cream he turned and looked at Ivory "I'd be more then welcome to pitch in some money, I have plenty" he said grinning, he looked down at Lynn who's face was now covered in ice-cream, he tried not to laugh but went back to the counter and grabbed a bunch of paper toils, he would obviously need it.

"Nah it's fine- thanks anyway" she smiled then ordered a cookie dough ice cream in a cup and a mint on a cone..
The small boy huffed and signed 'I wanted a cone.'
Ivory looked at him "No! the last time you had Ice-Cream on a cone daddy wore half of it.. and this is mommy's new shirt!" she laughed and tried to sign..
The boy grinned remembering how he had randomly squished his cone into his father's shirt for no reason besides to get a good laugh..
