Tam pulled to a halt in the small empty car park on the beach front, cutting the engine before proceeding to simply sit there, gripping the steering wheel, staring straight ahead, her cheek still stinging from the blow Bear had thrown at her and a burning fury building steadily. She pulled down the mirror eventually, taking a look at the damage, her eyes stinging with tears as she observed the red welt against her cheek.
After she'd composed herself a little she undid her seatbelt, pulling open the door and slamming it behind us, hardly bothering to lock it as she moved down to the beach, her mind still a whirl, hurt overwhelming nearly everything, her sense closing to everything other than the rush of the sea and the wind blowing off the rolling waves, her hair moving with it.
By all the gods she'd bloody well get her own back on that twat...and possibly Becca too.

Yes, Zeus was the god of the sky and he wouldn't have wanted anything more than to be up in the sky right now, but until things calmed down in Richmond, California, he would be bound to the earth. So, he spent most of his time around the ocean. It was pretty peaceful and he enjoyed the cold ocean breeze. Plus, it was the only place that was socially accepted for him to not have to wear his shirt or shoes.
Zeus had found a small secret spot that most of the humans didn't know about. It was hidden by rocks, so it appeared that the beach had just ended there, but there was a small circle of sand that almost seemed like a private beach. There Zeus would sprawl on the wet sand and really embrace the cool air and water tickling his feet. It was the only time he ever got to himself while on Earth.

She stood there for a moment, the cold air running along her arms and bringing goosebumps with it. She began to walk, aimlessly up the beach and with it the wind only seemed to blow harder and the cold wrap around her more tightly. A storm would probably kick up properly soon but she didn't care, her feet guiding her across the rocks, the spray catching her every so often.
There was a small outcrop of rock, something she would have ordinarily avoided like the plague, she often thought the idea of herself climbing both undignified and after most probably falling into the water, very unattractive, but she didn't care right then, her temper often led her to doing strange things but it was probably better than going round and shooting people down with rifles as she felt right then so she continued.
She neared the edge before the inevitable happened and she slipped, her leg twisting beneath her as she fell heavily, knocking her knee and ripping through her jeans but otherwise unharmed she sat there, watching one of her shoes float away with the swell. And that was quite enough.
"FOR FUCKS SAKE!!" She cried in aggravation. It was somewhat difficult to know whether she were shouting at the sea or her shoe or what...in fact not even she could be sure...
"FUCKING SHOE, LIKE I EVEN NEED YOU!!" She yelled. ...sometimes unhinged can never quite cover it...she did continue on like this for quite some time, her tears beginning to start at point but eventually, after a little time, she did pull herself enough together enough to stop. She let out a choked sigh before turning, promptly pausing as she set eyes on a bloke.
"...crap," She breathed.

Maybe Zeus had thought too soon. All of a sudden, his moment of peace was broken by some shrill voice spewing out all sorts of words of anger. With a sigh, Zeus removed his sunglasses and turned to get a better view of the woman. He could tell she was a demigod. There was something special about gods, goddesses, and demis. Each one had a sort of a pulse, some even called it an aura, that grew stronger with gods/goddesses and even strong with Hades, Poseidon, and himself. Demigods on the other hand, had a weaker pulse, but it was still there. By the looks of the girl, she was probably the daughter of Aphrodite. Besides, only an Aphrodite child would be so upset over loosing a shoe to the sea.
"Well, If I were the god of the sea I would return your shoe, but unfortunately you have such luck." Zeus glanced back at the ocean to see the shoe floating further and further away. "What are you doing here anyway?" Zeus knew that he probably sounded..cold, but he was never much of a "people person." He never acted friendlier than he needed to. Besides, most of the humans told him anything based on the fact that they thought he was attractive and those in his world were usually too afraid to defy him. "Most Aphrodite children wouldn't bother to make the climb in fear of dirtying their outfit or losing a shoe."

Tam looked at him for a moment, her breathing slowing slightly as her eyes ran over him a small crease appearing between her brow as she attempted to distinguish exactly what it was that sent shivers through her and down her arms...that was until she heard him talk about Aphrodite's, in which case her her eyes narrowed.
"That's a pretty stereotypical view," She said waspishly...no matter how incredibly true it was. Tam of all people was most probably the most stereotypically Aphrodite esc child one was ever likely to meet.
It did take her a moment however to actually catch onto the fact that he'd managed to refer straight to her demigod status AND exactly who her mother was.
"...who are you?" She said frowning ever so slightly as she looked at him warily.
