So I know a long, long, long time ago...ok so it was probs like a few months ago but ah well, we used to have the things saying the number of boys and girls there were, I think perhaps we should bring it back? Also perhaps we could stick up the ratios for how many different demigods there are because as we know, the Aphrodite's are starting to take over *shoots pointed look at charrie!Tam* so...yeah...that's my suggestion! xD

Yusss. Dunno about the gender ratio, but I started making a list of all the demigods last night at around midnight, so all I have right now is the gods/goddesses names, but hopefully I'll have that done soon. And yeah, I feel the Aphrodites are taking over. :/ More angst for Semp! xD

I know I can't really talk because Tam is an Aphrodite kid...very much an Aphrodite kid (xD) but perhaps the ban should go back up until they're all a bit more even? Otherwise the numbers'll just go back up again. Maybe you could stick a compalitability thing up, you know, like which demigods are more likely to clash/which are likely to get along, a bit more about possible personality traits because everyone knows the sort of Aphrodite traits but maybe it might be easier if people knew more about the others too? Plus just because they're a kid of a certain god doesn't mean they have to act that way. I'd be happy to help if I'm needed but I do think she should have them displayed to make things easier along with the gender ratio thing, just to make it clearer for newbies?

Personaly I think that the ban of Ahprodite should be lifted (and it is) and should stay that way becuase the only aphrodites THAT ARE ACTIVE I see are: Sage, Tamara and me. Thats really all I see.

Anyway I was thinking about it today and Meg's right! I didn't even realise that there were Aphrodite's other than Sage, Chicago and Tam! And even now I can't remember the other ones (other than Meg ;P). I think there are a lot of inactive ones though so maybe you should have to have a pretty low number of credits, (idk 25 or something?) ...then again you'd have to have a charrie first...ok so that failed (x.x xD) but I don't know, I know we can't have loads of Aphrodite's but I think it's more that the Aphrodites are the most active members?
...I have absolutely no idea how we could encourage people to have other gods, bribe them maybe? xD
Also, I think we're gonna need to start making straight single guys too because there don't appear to many... xD

Well, I think this is a great idea, personally. A "Demigod:Human" and "Male:Female" ratio would be a good idea. I don't get why the ban on Aphrodite's kids was even necessary. Usually, people go for the more powerful and desireable gods. (Which, incedentally, is why you need to buy Big Three kids) Anyway, to the point. I think something color-coded and maybe tabbed would be a good idea, and I think it should have its' own section of the side bar. Also, regarding the whole LGBTC-overload thing, I think we need to stop. Granted, people enjoy the freedom of choice with the bisexuals, and the intimacy of relationships with the homosexuals. But what people don't realize is that you actually have the same freedom/intimacy in heterosexuals as well. 'Tis why I'm making Xi have a girlfriend (though I dearly wish someone would get onto that sooner, rather than later). To prove that it's good to be diverse. I haven't see many straight characters in all the time of my role-playing. I guess it's because they don't want to act homophobic. Well, hope my "little" (or seriously unlittle, if I'm correct) speech has helped.

The point is that we don't just need straight males, we need straight males open to plottage, the ratios are pretty even (apart from the reg male/reg female ratios xD) but most of them are 1) gay/bi leaning more towards gay or 2) created for a particular plottage. Obviously there is NOTHING wrong with it and rather than moaning I should go make some male charries or something and I don't really think it really has much to do with being for or against straight or gay, I think it's probably more that most of us are girls so RPing our charries getting with guys is easier xDD
So that's my rant done, I think I'm finally going to try piece together some replies...preferably before I lose the will to live x.x xD

I think people are just making Aphrodite characters so they can be whores. But anyway, done with my opinion. xD Sage & Tam & Chicago <3 <'3
Anyway. If we're going to have all these Aphrodites, to be realistic, we need to space them out. We can't have two Aphrodite seniors since, well, obviously Aphrodite can't be pregnant with two kids at the same time unless they're twins. So spacing/timing is needed. I think that might help tone down the mass of little children. ... I just realized that Tam & Sage are both seniors, but I can't recall their ages off the top of my head. xD
And what Tam said, more straight characters would be <3 xD For the sake of the site.

I know, that recently occured to me, I think there's like several months difference between them x.x ...I just assumed because she was a goddess she didn't do the preggers things like everyone else xD
And pfft, yes, why else would you make an Aphrodite kid?? xD
Nah I'm kidding xD It's just because loud, outgoing, slaggish charries are easier to sort of put out there but could be any demi charries personality just because the parents a certain goddess doesn't mean they inherit a certain personality too, I just went for the cliche *pets cliche Tam* but I wouldn't change her, even now so really I should shut up because I'm being a hypocrite x.x

Well, I have put as a header on the registration board an encouraged list and a small banned list. It will be changing according to the needs of the site of course. Also, I have put back the number of demigods/regulars as well as the gender for everyone to see. It's easy to tell that there are not a lot of regular males. I think a major activity check will probably help with clearing out all the characters that are inactive so we can figure out how many children are under each god/goddess. Also, I have added a little more of a personality for the demigods that are on the list. As for the whole compatibility thing, I would consider it. The only thing that's holding me back is that I feel like it will be promoting demigods. It would be like saying, "The child of Aphrodite and Dionysus would be amazing friends, but they would definitely be enemies with the child of Hades. Oh and regular humans can do whatever they want." If we can find a way to make sure every member group is promoted equally then I would definitely go for it. I will also be adding a rule to the rules about ratios and such. Hopefully this helps!
