Cael sighed the sound of girls walking by laughing t something reminded him of old friends he had back in Otta.. he lowered his head and let his colourful hair fall over his face for a few minutes before continuing to walk again. he missed his mother and aunt, they would be able to make him feel happy again, but sadly... they weren't even in the USA. He kicked at a rock cussing when his toe began to hurt. Cael raised his hand and looked about for signs if anyone was looking at him but nobody did.
Finally when he'd gotten under a tree near the bench and was sure nobody was looking at him he brought out a match and cigarette, lighting it with the match he flicked the match once and it had gone out. He took a drag of it before sitting down and watching as a couple hurried by in the late evening.

Paige was wandering through the quad when she saw her old buddy ceal. She headed off in his direction and walked up behind him as silently as she could and leaned up against the tree out of his sight. "Can I have a drag?" she said with a slight grin on her face. Its been forever sense shes saw him. Maybe she wasn't going to have such a hard time finding friends after all.

He sighed again taking another drag the sky looked nice, sunset overhead it was quite amazing to watch. He grinned as he watched he always loved the sunset. Cael lowered his face again when the sudden fowl smell crossed close to his noes as if that of a skunk. He frowned and heard footsteps coming towards him looking up as the person asked for a drag his jaw dropped and he handed it over.
"Paige? your at this school.. gosh it's been forever" noticing he was rambling off he quickly stopped and lowered his head again, letting his colourful hair once more fall over his face.

Paige took the cigarette and took a long drag exhaling through her nose "Yeah, Mom couldn't wait to get me out of the house" she said and chuckled slightly. Her eyes were on the sun as it was setting she glanced down at him once before slinking down to the bottom of tree sitting next to him. And held the cigarette out to him.

He sighed looking back up at the sunset, it was hot here in this country he frowned looking down at his feet like he often did allowing his hair to go over his eyes, then he brushed his bangs to the side again grinning at Paige "I haven't been kicked out yet.. but" he looked her over a moment debating if she was here for the same reason "Things have gone down hill.. so it was.. uh... better for me to come here for the better of everyone else" he grinned then took the cigarette back nodding as if to say thanks.
He watched as the cigarette became a little smaller before taking another Drag of it, he knew it wasn't good for him, and he hadn't started smoking until recently. Cael grinned handing it out to Paige again "Gosh.. back home I use to sing for my mom's radio station.. now I sing as an entertainer at the Amusement Park" Cael frowned again "So Paige.. How you liking it here so far?" he said changing the topic.

Paige kept her eyes on the sun most of the time during the conversation. She always had a problem with eye contact it made her feel weird. She chuckled lightly when he told her that he hadnt been kicked out yet. She nodded as he said things were going down hill as if to agree, that was the exact reason she was here,along with her mom couldnt stand her anymore. Paige leaned her head agianst the tree tiredly and took the ciggrette as he held it out grimmiceng slightly at it before she took a puff. Her mom had gotten her into the nasty habbit. her mom smoked like a chimney and it was kinda hard not to get addicted. "eh, its ok" she said. She wasnt particulary enoying her stay here. She wasnt hate it either I supposed she missed living out in the country in her little school. But this place made do she thought. "I havent seen you around...your in class B eh?" Paige was a bit surprised she just thought the class B was advanced kids. she never thought of him as a extra good student, not that she thought he was stupid, either.

Cael sighed looking as the sun disappeared over the horizon in a flash of colours it was just gone and the place it was left was in a dim light that would only grow dark for hours to come. He remembered when he was a little kid, falling for the fact that the sun would fall asleep. Now of course he knew the true reason of it, it was simple something he'd never expected.. that Apollo was quite the god he had to admit..
He turned to Paige "Well actually I assume I'm in the A class.. you regulars are in the B class" he frowned not wanting to sound bad about he was sure he could offend when people because of that "Yeah.. they tell you guys where advanced don't they?" he said it wasn't true however for some of the students in the A class where complete idiots whether they'd appreciate him saying it or not, it was true.

Paige was smart, she just never let anyone know. She had excellent grades despite her need for staying up till four in The morning to party. "Oh yea, got my letters mixed up....can think straight" she said taking a long drag finishing off the cigarette and throwing the butt on the ground. she knew what class she was in, her mind was a bit scattered. Bringing up her home life often did that to her. It didn't even cross her mind that it might be inconsiderate to finish of someone else's cigarette but she didn't care. She was insensitive which, can be good to a point but Paige was a little over insensitive. She didn't care about that either. It didn't bother Paige being called a "regular" You would have to say something way more insulting to get her to even react. "Well yea that is what they told us...." she raised an eyebrow looking at him. She knew he probably didn't mean anything by it but the way he said it made her think it sounded like someone was lying. she just shrugged it off. She listened intently to everything everyone had to say,and over thought it at most times and in this case is what she thought she was doing. She didn't think twice about it after that. Most of the time Paige was too busy breaking down what people said, pulling out hidden meanings under their words to respond. That, and also being a practiced liar herself, made her a hard person to lie to. A nod or a shrug was a usual response for Paige, she figured the less information the other side had, the easier to lie to. She hadn't lied Cael, she Had no real reason to there wasn't anything she wanted from him....and even though she probably wouldn't admit it she liked the kid, as a friend.

He frowned looking down at his shoes, temped to light another cigarette he stopped himself from doing so, it was bad enough he smoked in the first time he didn't have to make it any worse. He raised his eyes again looking at Paige for a minute "Sorry.. I bet I sounded mean there, I didn't mean to" he quickly diverted his attention to the sky and stars, the moon was of that of a toenail like many people described it to be. then he looked down again, there was only a few people out now including them but a majority of the students had gone inside.
He looked down at his watch, it said roughly eight-thirty so it wasn't that late, they where allowed to stay out until ten-thirty but many people stayed out much later anywho. "Trust me.. where not all smart in the A class" he said grinning thinking back to what he'd almost said about them again.

Paige laughed when he said he sounded mean. She has heard her brother say worse. She wondered why he worried so much about upsetting her. When Paige said something she didn't think twice about possibly upsetting someone, then again she didn't care if she was liked. She didn't say anything looking at him for the first time she only held eye contact for a split second before looking away again. Now she was getting curious, if all the kids weren't smart how were they in the advanced classes? Paige had a 4.0 and she wasn't in A class...Hmmm...She figured he had just been trying to cover his ass for possibly offending her she thought. I mean what could a school be hiding. It was just the way he said "Yeah.. they tell you guys where advanced don't they?" that made her think. She was so convinced the school had nothing to hide she dropped the thought. She wasn't offended that she wasn't in A class nor did she care. she chuckled slightly "A bunch of retards in the honers classes? I don't think so. I have a 4.0 and I'm not there" She said "Those kids must be geniuses...I never thought Id be outsmarted by you" she said. She didn't mean it as an insult, she was just stating what she thought. She was brutally honest sometimes.

He shrugged it off still looking back up into the night sky, it was beautiful but nothing like the night sky in Norway where sometimes you could see the northern lights.. that was beautiful. "Sure I'm smart.. I know that the A class is.. kinda advanced but they train us to our funny bones.. they expect us to get the best marks to succeed in life.." he frowned looking down at his feet again. It was hard keeping such a secret from a friend, but he knew he had to or he might be punished for it.
"I'm sure the regular class has smart kids like us A class has.. where just chosen to be in the A class.. because we're uh.. special" he said, looking at Paige but diverting his eyes soon after. He found it very hard to talk to regular people because he was so use to talking about being what he was with his mother and some of the other demigods that actually spoke to him. "See.. Paige sure we're smart but we're also trouble makers" he said frowning, regular people were different though they didn't know what the demigods had to go through.

Paige just shrugged it off she didnt know where he was going with this. He looked unconfortable talking about so she just dropped it. She sighed running her fingers through her hair. She really wasnt looking forward to gettiing up early tomarrow and going to class. Paige could tell he was keeping something from her bu she just figured it was that he didnt want her to know he was in A class for whatever stupid reason. Men were always dumb anyways.

Cael frowned, he was often laid back now which made him a lot less fun to hang out with. He grinned the sky was so gloomy now, he had half expected to seen the northern lights tonight, but he remembered how there was none to be seen in this part of the USA. It made him miss home again.
Cael looked over at Paige "I'm sorry.. I'm not exactly fun to hang out with anymore" he said honestly before returning his attention to the sudden sound of a group of people walking by.

Paige raised an eyebrow as he frowned. What the fuck was he upset about? She would ask but she really didn't want to hear it. She like Cael and all but she didn't want to hear about his problems she had other things to worry about. "What do you mean 'anymore'" she joked with a grin on her face she elbowed him the the arm gently "Calm down, you seem.....off" she said. She really wasn't sure what to say. She looked at the group of kids as they hurried by.

Cael grinned as she foolishly nugded him then repeat what he said, he just didn't seem himself anymore after he'd come to Richmond High, nobody really bothered to be his friend which wasn't a big deal to him, but they seemed to stare at him when he walked by, and finding out he was the son of a big three didn't help for he had to stay very on the look out in case anything suspicious began to happen. He looked up again, forgetting the group who hurried by.
Cael looked at Paige again when she spoke "Yeah I know I should calm down" he said looking away as a small nocturernal animal scuttered by in a hurry to the bushes. it appeared to be a ferret of some sort, it was cute.
