D E M I G O D S
Here is the list of some of the gods and goddesses your character can be a child of. Sons and daughters of the big three are hard to come by and are rare so those will be off limits and will be awarded through contests. Be aware that you won't be manipulating waves of water as a freshman keep it reasonable. More gods and goddesses will be added later. So here we go! (Click the name of the God/Goddess to learn more)
*Note: List is not limited to this. Personalities in description is a generalization and not all demigods may act this way.
Zeus: God of sky and thunder. The father of gods and men, this is Zeus. His children have the power to manipulate lightning and the weather though this can also harm them as well. His children are usually proud, leaders, and have a strong sense of judgement.
Poseidon: God of the sea. Children of Poseidon are excellent swimmers and feel stronger in water. They can manipulate water to harm or heal. His children are usually laid back and fun characters, but their moods can change like the tides of the ocean.
Hades: God of the underworld. His children can summon the dead, but not always able to control them. They can also cause earthquakes. His children usually have darker personalities and can come across as morbid at times. They usually have a deep hate within them.
Aphrodite: Goddess of love, beauty, and sexuality. Most of Aphrodite kids are strikingly gorgeous. They are either driven by love or lust and have the power to play with one's emotions when it comes to the heart. Her children are usually self absorbed and found sleeping around.
Apollo: Apollo is the god of archery, knowledge, and light. Many of his children are extremely talented in archery. His kids tend to be smart and think tactfully rather than on impulse. They work better under the sun. His kids know that they are talented and are proud to show it. They are usually serious though and often forget to have some fun.
Athena: Goddess of wisdom and warfare. Children of Athena are skilled in warfare, but take a more tactful approach. They kill for need not for want. Like Apollo's children, Athena's children tend to be serious about work. They can be found with their head in a book but also working on combat strategy.
Ares: God of warfare. The difference between Ares and Athena is that Ares children are thirsty for blood. His children make natural warriors and are swift with a sword or hand to hand combat. Most Ares children are easily angered and are impulsive. They are talented when it comes to fighting, but they act before they think.
Aura: Goddess of breeze. Her children have the ability to manipulate air, the breeze, and are usually laid back. But like the wind, their moods can change.
Chronos: Keeper of time. An incorporeal god. His Children can manipulate time and make others have the feeling of losing track of time. His children are often the jokers in a group though they have a strong sense of time and are therefore never late.
Demeter: Goddess of agriculture. Children of Demeter have the ability to allow crops to grow. The feel stronger when surrounded by nature and can manipulate vines to a certain extent. Her children take an almost children personality. They have a deep appreciation for nature and are often seen outdoors.
Dionysus: God of wine. Dionysus's children are able to turn grapes into wine with ease. They don't get drunk easily and are usually the life of the party. They are able to manipulate a person's mood to happy, but only slightly.
Hephaestus: God of technology. His children can use fire to wield metal. More modern demigods are able to fix computers and other technology, but is stronger in weapons. His children are the techies of the group. They can be a bit awkward at first, but really are good people on the inside.
Hermes: God of messengers and thievery. Children of Hermes are a special thing. They are able to run and think quick. They have good communication skills and are able to come up with a lie quickly. This children are your manipulators in the group and are the ones most likely to stab you in the back for what they want.
Hypnos: God of sleep. Children of Hypnos, like Hypnos' mother, feel stronger at night or when they are asleep. They can manipulate others to sleep or dream certain things depending on their level of strength. Hypnos' children are often found day dreaming and yawning.
Nyx: Goddess of night. Her kids can manipulate shadows and feel overall stronger in the dark. Their vision at night is perfect. However, they do tend to keep to themselves. They are the antisocial kids, but are extremely proud and confident in themselves.
Thanatos: The God of Death. His children are able to create a nightmares while a person is a sleep. When a person is awake, they are able to create illusions that are usually only negative. His children are not able to cause death to their victims
Themis: Goddess of divine order and law. Her children have a strong sense of what is right and wrong and believes that justice must be served.

The list above is simply a suggested list. If there is another god/goddess you would like to use, put the name of the god/goddess and his/her abilities. It will either be approved or denied by the staff.
