Appearance: Hana’s clothing reflects her cheerful attitude. She can usually be seen in bright colored clothes, especially dresses. Her parents always told her that to look good was to succeed, so she has always taken her appearance very seriously. When she doesn’t straighten or dye her hair, her hair is naturally wavy and dark brown. There are very rare occasions when she will allow herself to get dirty or wear black. It is apart of why she considers herself a girly girl. She is relatively slender, although she has started to develop more of a figure now that she is dealing with puberty. Hana stands at five foot three inches and is about one hundred and ten pounds.
Personality: Hana is the type of girl who will strive to be happy no matter what the situation is around her. There is several times where she will slip up and let herself become depressed, but the majority of the time she is generally really happy. She is always willing to make new friends and will oftentimes bend over backwards to make them happy especially on special occasions. Although she loves modeling, she gets worried about what guys will think or do regarding her if they see some of the photoshoots that she does. This might change in the future but one could say that she is a bit shy when it comes to how she thinks about guys. Right now her priorities once she gets to Richmond are to focus on her studies. Most girls her age would want to date, but her main priority is doing well in school.

History:The tale of how Hana’s parents met could have been a fairytale. They met at Tokyo University in Japan where they were both studying. After about two years of dating and then one more year of being engaged, they got married in a small ceremony in Hana’s mother’s hometown Hokkaido. In less than a year they both welcomed a baby boy into the world – Hana’s brother Tohru. About six years later, the two lucky Japanese parents were able to greet Hana into the world.
As Hana grew up one of her closest friends was her brother. He taught her how to play videogames like a madwoman and she was soon able to beat him at almost every game they owned. Their parents, because of their wealth, were able to give them whatever they wanted. Tohru always took advantage of that, but Hana only wanted to be rewarded with things when she did well. That was one of the reasons why she did so well in her academics. When Hana entered middle school that was when she began to have the most troubles. Guys found her cute and awesome because she played video games which then made the girls in her class dislike her. After several violent bullying incidents from the girls, her parents took her out of the school and had her tutored at home. Once she reached the American version of freshman year, Hana wanted to go back to school. Her mother agreed only on one condition – it had to be outside of Japan. This is how she found Richmond High School.
