Appearance: Piper has very long wavy/curly brown hair that hangs to just above her waistline. Perhaps if she is in a patient enough mood she will take time to straighten it (not often). She has grey eyes which she is told are just like her mothers that seem to pierce through you if you’re lying to her. She hair fair skin with a light spray of freckles that cover the bridge of her nose and cheeks. She stands at about five feet seven inches and has a slender, athletic build, which she keeps in check by climbing trees regularly and running track.
Personality: Piper is helpful, adventurous, kind and charming. She likes laugh and joke a lot, and has a daring adventure streak. She argues often with her brother Logan and they tend to butt heads about things. Both being children of Athena, the arguments usually end in a draw. She is witty and wise beyond her tender age of sixteen, and Logan usually jokes that she is a thirty year old in a sixteen year olds body. She has a temper, and tends to hold grudges against people who anger her, and it is unadvisable to get her really angry. But when it comes to her friends, she would do anything to defend them and what’s right; her loyalty is unwavering.

History: The circumstances of Piper and Logan’s births are a bit fuzzy, as their father simply woke up one morning to find the twins in a large cradle in his room. He had met Athena when he was at UCLA Law School, and she fell for his intelligence and determination to be the best he could be. He realized that these twins were the aftermath of the connection he had with Athena, and decided he would take the responsibility of being a father in stride.
Being children of Athena, Piper and Logan were extremely smart when it came to their academics. Piper began reading at the age of four, and spent hours at the library, which was a block from their home, pouring over books when she was in elementary school. Their father married fellow human Audrey Thompson when they were ten, and she became their stepmother from hell. She was just like the evil stepmother you read about in fairy tales; whenever their father was at work, she would seemingly transform into a lazy vain and selfish woman who would take advantage of Piper and Logan’s hardworking demeanors, while letting her own daughter Priscilla lounge around the house doing nothing. Their poor father, who is kind but naiive, always underestimates Audrey’s true colors.
When the twins were given the opportunity to attend Richmond High and join demigods like themselves, they immediately begged their father to let them go. Although Audrey tried to convince him not to send them, he finally overruled her and allowed them to attend. Both are now juniors at the school and have convinced their father to come and visit by himself instead of dragging Audrey and Priscilla along with him.

It had been what felt like forever since Piper had seen her best friend. Piper had been busy in Los Angeles all summer but she had written her near every week. Los Angeles had been brutal as usual; her step-mother had been horrible as usual, and she found herself determined in getting out of the house as much as possible. During a shopping excursion, she had also found something she thought her friend would like as well. She knew she was lucky to have a best friend at school, and she was happy that she happened to be in her dorm.
Piper situated herself in one of their two favorite armchairs. She had of course, sat next to her friend during dinner that evening but it was too noisy and crowded to really get to what they wanted to do; hear the news. She wanted to hear about her friend's summer and waited patiently for her, twirling a piece of her dark brown hair around her finger and staring at the wall. She became so immersed in her own thoughts, she didn’t even notice her friend enter the room.
