Appearance: Native American, Irish, and Spanish in heritage was mashed into one to bring you Rowan Nelson. Her hair is sleek, flowing, and very naturally black and the style varies from day to day. Her skin is also tan from her Native American blood, and her eyes are bright and a murky brown which almost looks hazel in some light. She is not very tall, but instead she's average in height and weight and hasn't grown an inch since high school.
Personality: Nerdy, passionate about her work, polite, and casual are possibly the best ways to describe Rowan. As long as you keep your nose out of her business, she'll keep her nose out of yours. She has very little tolerance for jerks or anybody who can't get off their high horse. Rowan has very rarely ever made enemies, but that hasn't stopped her before. Although she is not a fighter, she can and will fight for anything that she wants.

History: Rowan was born and raised in Queens, New York to a working class family of librarians. So perhaps her love for reading and science originated from a very early age. After she graduated college, she took up a teaching degree and pursued her career further. After years of searching for the ideal teaching position, she was offered a job at Richmond High and jumped at the chance.
