Sarafina closed the door behind her, then leaned against the door sighing softly. She felt like she was going to shock and wasn't going to come out of it, she slowly lifted up the sleeve on her sweater to check on her wrist it happened an hour ago and already there was a black and purple colored bruise. Why did she even go back there? Why was so stupid to fall for that voicemail? Maybe father got the best of her...all the time. She walked over to the bathroom, opened a drawer and took out Ace Bandage wrap. She took off her sweater and started to carefully wrap her wrist, she would have to cover this with lie just to keep herself from going to a foster home. When she was almost done wrapping it there was a knock on the door "Just a minute. She called out, then finished wrapping her wrist. Then put the box back in the drawer then walked over to the door, she undid the lock and opened the door to see who it was.

Even though it was only late afternoon/early evening, Chicago was dressed in something she called "Going out pj's" as she walked from the demigod dorms to the regular kid dorms to call on her friend Sarafina. Going out pj's meant that she would feel comfy if she went to bed this instant, but she still deemed the clothes mostly suitable for walking around in. She glanced around to make sure there were no teachers running towards her as she crossed campus. The kids were allowed to mix outside of school hours, but the dorm blocks were across campus so that the kids couldnt sneak in and out, but that didn't mean that they didn't. Rules were made to be broken, right? Plus, it was no where near curfew yet, and it was outside of school hours. But, still better to be safe than sorry.
Humming along to Muse on her iPhone, she smiled at herself. She deliberatley hadn't texted Sarafina because she wanted to suprise her. As a gust of breeze came along, Chicago lifted a hand to her head, to make sure her beret was still in place and then pulled her loose hair over her shoulder. She snuggled into the warmth of her Chicago Bears puffer jacket and laughed. People always had to stop and think aminute when she wore the coat and then introduced herself as Chicago.
Nearing the building, she spied out Sarafina's dorm number and gave a knock on the door and smiled again as she heard her best friends voice from inside. When she undid the lock, Chicago grinned "Suprise!!!" ------------ notes: saw this thread all lonley here still and realised that S & C are besties and didnt have a thread yet, so I jumped in XD tag: Sarafina outfit: here!

Sarafina opened the door and saw that it was ber best friend, Chicago. Even though Sarafina met her just a few weeks ago, Chicago became one of the very few people Sarafina trusted here at Richmond after growing up with a alcholic, abusive father Sarafina really was on edge about everyone, especially when she first started meeting them. Even though Sarafina was keeping her family history a secret she knew that she would have to tell someone sooner or later. But who? That was the problem if the police found out about her father, Sarafina knew she would be off to a foster home in a blink of an eye, and she wasn't going to let that happen. Sarafina smiled up at the Chicago, "Hey Chicago, come on in." She said stepping to the side to let Chicago in, "How are the classes going for you?" She asked her with a kind, friendly smile.

Chicago felt kind of bad that Sarafina didn't know that Chicago was...well, different. Not that it was a huge thing or anything. But everyone had their secrets right? She smiled at her friend as she stepped through the door. "Thanks. Oh, yeah...really good. How about you? Are your classes okay?" It was hard sometimes, not being able to tell people all about her classes, not knowing who belonged in the demi's or the regs... but, it was for the best that the regs didn't know. That's what she told herself, anyway.
