Skyler shuddered as she walked along the sidewalk, staring at the immense variety of cars that passed by her. It was an early morning in California as well as a beautiful Sunday as well. Only a handful of clouds appeared amongst the blue sky as the sun greeted the wet dewy grass. Raising her hands to her mouth, Skyler warmed them up with her breath as she quietly looked around her. Not many people seemed like students to Richmond High or even students in this case. Many of them were older, and looked like they had jobs, while the other batch looked like little kids that attended elementary school.
Skyler scanned the ground as she thought about a ton of tasks she had to complete while at Richmond. Now, it was normal for someone to start making goals before going to high school, but for a girl like Skyler, these ggoalsh altogether were probably at least two hundred at the least. Weird right? The girl had always been the loner type at her old school and well, letfs just say making a ton of friends was one of her many goals to complete at Richmond High. Pulling out a piece of paper, Skyler stared at it intently as she looked up again; taking quick glances at street addresses. Frowning, Skyler looked back at her paper, then back at the street sign. The girl felt lost like how a stranded child in a mall felt, useless and afraid. Skyler had told her mom that she wouldfve been okay finding the school on foot, but that turned out to be a big lie.
Walking a bit more, Skyler caught sight of a sign that she had remembered seeing somewhere. Looking at her paper, Skyler smiled. Well, at least she wasnft completely lost. Following the directions of her paper, the girl caught sight of a few big buildings along the way, they looked quite normal as it reminded Skyler of her old school, which was actually a really plain. And she meant really plain. hThatfs probably Richmond Highch
Richmond High was certainly something much more than she thought it would be. Well, the front was at least. Taking a step inside, Skyler found herself aimlessly looking around. Taking out her paper once more, Skyler found herself ripping it to shreds before stuffing it in her pocket. The paper had helped her find the school, but it didnft really help her find where she was supposed to be at all. Finding an opening, Skyler walked in to only find herself in what looked like the quad. Well, at least she now knew where the quad was, which was actually very useless in the time being. Walking more into the middle of the Quad, Skyler bit her lip as she tried to find out where she had to be. She remembered that she was suppose to find her assigned dorm room, but it was pretty dang hard to find which section of the high school that held the dorm she was supposed to be in. The new sophomore thought about how incapable the girl looked right now as she walked around literally in circles, searching for where she was supposed to be. Skyler knew today was horrible, but it also had to be stressful as well?
