Has Sage ever explained his hatred for math or any class that is math related? Yeah, well, he pretty much loathes it. He finds no point in manipulating numbers into getting a random number as an answer. Seriously, how does that help with life. He didn't plan on being a math teacher when he grew up so he found the whole entire thing pointless. He hoped that when he came to Richmond High School as a freshman and as a demigod, he would not have to take such pointless classes. But here he was, in class with a whole bunch of other demigods. Oh fun.
Sage looked around looking at his choices. He could either A) do his homework he was assigned for math. Er, no. B) Do his homework that was assigned for his Greek history class. Better but no. Or C) find a person to text/pass notes to. Hm, ding ding ding! We have a winner. Sage turned to his left and already found the girl he wanted to talk to. She was pretty and he believed the head of the cheerleading team. He wrote a note that simply said, "Hey, I'm Sage, son of Aphrodite." He folded up the paper and slipped it to the girl.

Chicago was sitting in math class. She didn't mind math, she was actually fairly good at it. But she was bored and couldn't be bothered figuring out the problems right now. She could do them back in her dorm later. So, pretending to work, she had a couple of question already figured out on her page, but had moved on to absentmindedly drawing on the page opposite. She sighed and flicked her pen onto the table, fed up. She looked up in suprise when she heard the sound of rustling to her right. Looking over she caught sight of a gorgeous boy, who looked about a year older than her. Picking up the note, and glancing at him, she read it and rescued her pen from the table. Underneath his writing, she wrote her own little note, "Hey, nice to meet you. Chicago.". She paused, not knowing whether to let him onto the fact that she was his sister, if he didn't already know. Quickly figuring what the heck, she continued, "Mother certainly passed on her good looks to you..." and left it at that. She slipped the note back on his desk and anticipated his reply. When she had walked into class and sat next to the Ice Hockey captain, she had had her suspicions that they had the same mother, but now she knew for sure.

Sage smiled as the neatly folded note landed on his desk. He was glad that the girl had replied. He had seen her a couple of times and some of his games, but there was only so much you could see when you were on the ice. You pretty much only saw the blinding white ice, the black puck, and well, your enemies. And yes, who ever went up against Sage in hockey was his enemy. What can I say, he's competitive.
Sage neatly unfolded the note not wanting to seem too eager to read her message. He had a image to uphold and that was "cool and collective." Well among others. He looked down and read the note. He paused. Reread. Paused. The connection was slowly forming in his brain. Dang, and he was really hoping on flirting with this girl. The idea bounced around in his head. Well, there really was no rules against flirting with your half brother. Well, er, maybe there was, but he honestly did not care. Sage grabbed his pen and started to write. "Hey Chicago. Yeah, I think mom blessed all her children." He drew a winky face next to his statement. He folded the paper and set it on her desk.

Waiting for the note to reappear on her desk, Chicago wondered if Sage knew they were realted. It was a shame really, he was ridiculously good looking. Although, he was only her half-brother. They could just tell people they were a very affectionate family? Or not related at all? Needless to say, she was still toying around with the idea. As she saw the note being slipped back onto her desk out of the corner of her eye, Chicago looked back at her book, acting as if she hadn't sen him put it there, or she just had more important things to do. Chicago was a very good actress, though not part of the drama club, even though she had been told she should join. With a neutral face, she unfolded the note and read his message, then blushed slightly. It seemed that receiving compliments form Sage had a different effect than compliments form other people. Although, she couldn't be quite sure he was being sincere. Picking up her purple pen once more, she printed another message under his in her neat handwriting. "You flatter me Sage Though I am slightly suprised we havent picked up on our being related before. We do kind of look the same. Although, I haven't ever let something trivial keep me from something that I want..." adding a little winky face of her own, and then neatly folding the paper again with her manicured nails and reached over to place the note on Sage's desk. ------------- note: hope thats okay, sorry :S

Oh, so she was an actress was she. Children of Aphrodite had the tendency of being good actors/actresses. No, they weren't liars..just...story tellers. Being an actor himself, Sage was able to see through Chicago's nonchalance attitude, but that probably meant that she saw through his. Oh well. Two could play that game. Sage looked down at his math homework pretending like he would rather do that than reply to her note. Eventually, getting annoyed at staring at random numbers, Sage picked up the note.
A smile crept on his face. He almost wanted to verbally voice this thanks to his mom for making his children so...forward about their feelings. Chicago and Sage knew that they were related even if it was by some weird goddess blood, still they were. The thing he loved was that neither of them really cared. "We do kind of look alike. Well, honestly, the only time I've ever seen you was during my hockey games, and no offense, my concentration is on the ice. But hey, if it makes you feel any better, you can wear that cute little outfit for me and we can have a game of our own." A smiley face followed his statement. He again folded the paper and put his pen down. He looked at the clock pretending to seem uninterested then set the note on his half-sister's deks.

Chicago had to cover her mouth to keep her from laughing out loud at him trying to look disinterested. She knew he could see through her act, but that was half the fun. She looked back down at her math book while he replied to the note, then ignored him once again as he placed it back onto her desk. Drawing out her opening of the note, she reached into her pencil case and pulled out her whiteout and corrected a "mistake" before picking up the paper and reading. She grinned. God she loved her mother. Not only were her children god like in appearance, they spoke exactly what was on their mind. The great thing about her and her brother was that they didn't gave a damn about whether they were related or not. "We do. The only tiem I've really seen you is at the hockey games, and your dressed in all that padding and stuff. None taken And, no offence, but I'm usually concentrating on keeping my squad in line." Chicago smirked at the next bit. "I'd be happy to oblige, but you won't get me that easily Sage. You've met your match, remember?" She folded the paper up once more and smoothly placed it back onto her brothers desk. This was going to be fun.

Sage eyed the note and gave up on acting like he could care less for the note, because to be honest, he had nothing better to do in the class. Not that he would not have striked up conversation with this girl outside of class. He had to admit, he had to give math's complete ability to bore him the credit for starting this conversation.
Sage skipped the note and smiled. God, he was loving this girl. He respected the whole "keeping her squad in line." He was busy making sure that his team one and her making sure that they looked hot as usual. Yeah, he understood. "Ha that's totally okay I understand. Ah, I thought getting with a daughter of Aphrodite would be easy. Hm, I suppose I'll just have to use my charm on you. Do you think mother will approve?" He resisted laughing and himself, but folded the paper again and passed it to Chicago.

She allwoed herself a small, silly grin as the note came to rest on her desk once more. She picked it up and opened it, and gave a small laugh. Picking up her pen, she paused before she wrote "Ah, wel you thought wrong *smiles* I suppose you will *winky face* Do I think mother will approve? ...I don't think she'll disapprove...haha" She raised an eyebrow at him as she passed the note back. She couldn't beleive her good luck sometimes. She hadn't told anyone who her parent was yet. Not for any particular reason. So really, the teachers and Sage were the only people that knew. And the teachers don't give out personal information, and Sage wouldn't tell anyone, so it helped their....purposes. They could show affection and no one would think anything of it. Not that really cared. If people were going to hold her mother, and therefore her nature, against her, they weren't worth knowing.

As Chicago passed the note back on Sage's desk, he checked her out with his peripheral vision. "Dang. Mom should have more kids." It was hard to deny that Aphrodite kids were good looking, breathtaking almost. He wondered if any other demigods knew she was the daughter of Aphrodite. Almost everyone knew he was the son of the goddess which caused for some interesting conversations.
Sage read the note and smiled. "Ha, well I'm glad our mother is...understanding. But don't worry, I'll find a way to get you in my bed life." Yeah, Sage purposely wrote bed and crossed it out. He wanted her to read it, but didn't want to freak her out completely.
P.S.: I fail! Dx I totally forgot to reply I'm sorry!

Chicago smiled at him as she checked him out once more. She marvelled at the fact they had the same jet black hair and bright blue eyes. He was really good looking. She thought about how no one that Aphrodite was her mother. She couldn't even remeber why she hadn't told anyone. Not that she was ashamed, because she wasnt. She had gotten that tatoo of her name in Greek so that she would always remember and be proud of who she was. Maybe she just wanted people to no judge her, or make excuses for her behaviour...or something like that... Seeing the note pop back onto her desk, she opened it then penned her response "Why wouldn't she be? I'm sure you will *winky face* And I will thouroughly (sp?) enjoy watching you try. I am by no means, and easy mark *evil smile* <3" She smirked at the bed that was crossed out, on purpose, she wagered, and passed the note back once again. P.S: thats okay XDD

Sage looked up to check the teacher. Right now the demigod math class had a sub that was a regular human. Supposedly there wasn't a pool of demigod substitute teachers that the school could pick from. Who would have thought? Because of this though, the students weren't able to talk about their true identity of being a son/daughter of a god/goddess. So, keeping this note on the down low was even more important. Plus, if the old geezer was like any old teacher, he would probably read the note out loud. Yeah, that would not be good.
Sage's worry soon dispersed when the note landed on his desk. He picked up the note and read it with a smile on his face. Ha! "Oh, you really are the daughter of Aphrodite aren't you? Well, I'm glad we're related. It will be a nice challenge. Most girls are just way too willing to throw themselves at me. Haven't a little resistance will be a refreshing change." Sage folded the paper again, it soon running out of room. Where they passing notes for that long? He placed the note on her desk and went back to "doing math homework."

Chicago watched Sage check the reg teacher. They had to be even more careful not to get caught with this teacher around. As the note materialsed on her desk once more, she opened it and smiled "Don't you know it. Me too. Are you up for the challenge I'm going to be? I'm sure it will. Its the same with guys, its suprising how easy a guy can be, if you know how to get to them. Which I do *winky face*" Chicago realised that there was only a couple more lines remaining underneath her newly written response. She hadn;t realised they'd been talking that long. It was going to be so fun watching Sage trying to get her into his bed. She'd let him eventually, but she was going to make him work for it, thats for sure, she thought cheeakily as she passed the note back over to her brother, and "concentrated" on her math book again.

The paper note landed on Sage's desk and he smiled. He tilted his head to observe Chicago "do her homework." Ha. How cute. She was a pretty great actress. It actually looked like she was struggling over the foreign language they call math. Hm, maybe the acting traits run in the family. You have to be some sort of actor in order to play someone so well and eventually get them in bed. It was usually pretty easy for Sage, but he might actually have to work this time, but boy would he enjoy it.
Sage picked up his pen and pressed it to the lined paper. "Mm. I like that in a girl. I've always like the hard to get type, I should because after all it's one of my favorite roles to play. Don't worry, dear, I'll have you soon enough." Sage smirked and folded the paper back up. He was coming on strong, but it was no use hiding his natural urges around his sister. He knew that she felt the same and it would be childish to try to hide them. Sage passed the paper back to Chicago's desk then stretched, his shirt lifting ever so slightly so you could see the skin of his stomach.

The paper landed on her desk again and she smirked, flicking her eyes over to Sage quickly to see him deliberately stretch to show off his stomach. She knew what he was doing but couldnt help but be affected by it. It was almost scandalous the images running through her head. Chicago once again moved her pen over the lines on the page, forming her neat words underneath his. "Aha, I'm sure you do. Is that so? I can't wait to see that one. I'm not worrying, love. You should be worrying about yourself...How long can you last?" She grinned and refolded the paper. She loved the fact he was just throwing it all out there. She wasnt normally this forward herself, but they were siblings and knew that they both wanted the same thing. She placed the paper back on Sage's desk and then with expert acting skills, "accidentally" dropped her whiteout on the left side of her desk. Leaning in her chair to grab it, she felt her shirt come up a tad a grinned mischeviously. That should be enough payback for the stomach deal, having shown a sliver of her own stomach, plus about half the tattoo on her right hip. That'd make him curious at least.

The note landed on Sage's desk once again, but this time it was followed by white out hitting the floor. Sage's eyes lingered downward as Chicago attempted to reach the whiteout. Oh, who said revenge wasn't sweet? Sage licked his lips slightly as her shirt went up just a bit revealing enough of a tattoo? Hm, like brother like sister. He had a tattoo as well running up the right side of his body but she was unable to see it since she was on the other side of him. Damn. Oh well, right now he wanted to see the rest of the tattoo.
Instead, Sage cleared his throat and unfolded the note slowly, watching as the various writings were revealed. Chicago had a nice lady like hand writing. Sage, on the other hand wrote in cursive always, and was actually quite surprised that Chicago was able to read it. Sage shrugged and read the note with a smirk. "Hm, don't count me out, sis. I can hold on quite long." Sage held the pen to the paper as he thought then went back to writing. "But just a note of warning, I tend to...play rough when I have to wait too long." Sage put a wink type face on the note then folded it back up. He looked up at the clock then passed the not back to Chicago. Dang, class was close to ending already. Sage knew that this would have to be a daily occurrence. It was just too much fun!
