Sarafina stared at the T.V. screen slightly intrested in the movie that she was watching for her english class, Frankenstein. After reading the book in class, and since everyone did well on their tests the teacher said they deserved a break from work and watch a movie and of course if was off the book. After all back when the book was published it was scary and Sarafina never understood why but now she did, she heard the ring then some of the students who were into the movie jumped in their seats. Sarafina smiled at the sight of the students jumping in their seats. Sarafina put her folder in her backpack, zipped it up then walked out of the classroom heading to the lawns for some peace and quiet. After finding a quiet area, she looked around the campus, then something popped into her mind, Dodger. She couldn't get him out of her head, but why? She in a relationship with someone else and she was happy. Sarafina let out a deep sigh before looking around again.

He was bored out of his mind, sitting in his English class. They were supposed to be writing an essay, but his mind was blank and he could only wonder how much longer he had until the bell rang. One person never left his mind, as he stared at the pencil in his hand and the blank sheet of paper on his desk. He knew that he would see Sarafina after this class, they always seemed to run into other more now. Their relationship had gone up in smoke, and he could only blame himself. He'd heard from a few of his friends she'd been hanging out with somebody else. He should have seen that one coming, but he didn't think she'd move on at the drop of a hat.
The bell rang and he hesitated for only a moment, before he crumpled up the piece of paper and shot it towards the trash can. He walked out of the class room and made his way to the Great Lawns, where he saw a familiar blonde sitting on one of the many benches. They hadn't spoken since what happened, but he knew they couldn't avoid each other forever.

She knew that sooner or later that Dodger and her would bump into eachother, afterall they saw they eachother in the hallway but they would just avoid eachother's gazes. As she continued to look around she saw the Dodge Challenger that Dodger charished so much, it was then she remembered the day at the beach, the water fight that Dodger lost so easily, then the two of them just sitting on the beach the kiss that they shared then Dodger suprisingly letting her drive his car. Sarafina shook her head at the thoughts, she was happy with Francisco, but she deny it she still had feelings for Dodger and she knew sooner or later she wouldn't be able to contain it. Seeing a figure out of the corner of her eye she turned her head seeing Dodger looking at her, she looked away quickly then back at him. To tell the truth, Dodger was the best thing that has ever happened to her and he would keep that title no matter what would happened.

He always parked his car at the front of the parking lot, nearest to the school. It made it easier for him to throw his school bag into so he wouldn't have to drag it around all day. As he unlocked his ruby red car, he turned around to meet Sarafina's gaze. He thought that maybe he should park somewhere else, somewhere further away. It was hard to think of the car without thinking of the driver. Dodger thought about leaving now, saving them both the trouble of having to confront the other but he couldn't put it off any longer. He shut the passenger's seat, and locked the car. There was no use in putting this off any longer.
"Hey, Sarafina."

Sarafina watched Dodger walk to his car, he was addicted to that the car from the very first day he got it. When Dodger met her gaze she looked away, she was only lieing to herself when she looked away the truth was she still had feelings for Dodger, even though he made an ass of himself back at th Cafeteria but ever since then he seemed different, like he was somebody else. Dodger knew he made a big mistake, afterall Dodger was one of very few people she could actually trust. Turning her head towards Dodger again she saw him walking towards her, she let out a sigh as he apporched her only wondering what he had to say about what happened. "Hey Dodger."

When their eyes met, he still felt that "butterfly in the stomach" feeling he got when he first laid eyes on her on his first day at Richmond. If only she could see past the faults. Dodger wasn't the easiest guy to be love, but she'd done a good job of bringing out the best in him. Ever since he lost his parents and moved out to California, he'd been on his own. But Sarafina was the best thing that had ever happened to him and just like that, he ruined everything in a heartbeat.
"So, I think we should talk. If you don't want to...I understand."
