Had he forgotten to mention the fact he was like well lets just say really well off? Yeah sorry if so. Vincent lived in the home by himself, and almost no one knew he actually owned his own house here. Mainly it was due to the fact he never once mentioned where he lived to any one or anything else about himself actually. But truth be he did own a rather huge home, and right now was finiishing cleaning up. It took some time but really since he was almost never their the place was almost never dirty. But since it was the weekend and he was actually going to see if Dream and maybe a few others wanted to come down and have a barbecue he figured he would at least let the place get cleaned up and try to make it seem a little less intimidating then what he figured most of them would think when they came on to his property. After he got everything started he headed down to the front patio and started the grill. He was not really having a party or anything just sent the invitation to some friends and figured they all could get together and have some food. As well as actually let some others know actually a little more about himself since he kept it so secret. Hell even Sage and Semp had no clue about the place. Most of all though he figured he had to tell Dream since they finally had decided to date. It would be hard keeping a secret like this from her. And really he just didnt want to keep it a secret any more. It was hard enough doing so through the past say nothing about now. He sat outside and sent text out to people inviting them over for food and drinks, And gave them all the address to the place. He was in jeans, a t-shirt sneaks and had shades on as he sat in a large chair waiting for the grill to finish heating up so he could put some food on. He hoped that he would get some people over since oddly he was in the cooking type of mood and had plenty of food preped to cool. Plus it would be nice to have people over to eat with him for once, instead of eating alone.

Dream was doing homework and listening to music when she got the text from Vince. Her phone vibrated loudly and her kitty Boots attacked her phone, thinking it was a toy. She giggled and pushed her cat out of the way and grabbed her phone. She read the address quickly before putting the phone back on her bed for Boots and Flappy to attack while she got ready.
Dream quickly pulled her hair out of its ponytail and put on some shorts and a cute mickey mouse t-shirt. It wasnt exactly shorts wheather outside but she was in the mood to wear them. She also grabbed her favorite necklace, one her foster mother had given her before she left for Richmond, and put it on. Then she put her shoes on. She examined herself in ther mirror for a moment before grabbing her phone and car keys and leaving the dorm.
Dream got into her silver bug and left school grounds, glancing at her phone every few seconds to make sure she was going the right way. When she finally reached the house she felt herself frown in disbelief. She checked her phone one more time, realizing it was the right place. She got out of her car slowly and made her way up to the front patio. She saw where Vince was sitting and walked over to him. "Hey, Vince" She said, giving him a hug and kissing him on the cheek before taking a step back. She felt a little awkward and didnt know what else to say. OUTFIT C:

He had already put some food on the grill, so far he had chicken, burgers hot dogs and steak cooking. He rather enjoyed the whole cooking out thing. Though he never had though of cooking for others. He set some food out, chips dip vegies and those types of things to snack on out on a large table, and under the table was three coolers filled with all sorts of drinks. He had spent a good share of money to set this up but really did not bother him any. Their was music playing from some speakers built into the patio and he had just taken some of the food from the grill and put it on the table. Sitting down he shut his eyes and waited for some people to arrive, he just hoped no one was going to feel out of place or anything around him now that they would know the truth. Opening his eyes at the sound of foot steps he smiled as Dream gave him a hug and kissed his cheek. Standing up he smiled and kissed her back and gave her a gentle hug. "Im glad you came. Sorry.. about keeping all this from you.. I..I just dont want people to think.. well think im any different." He felt a little odd but was rather happy she was the first one to arrive. "One sec let me go grab something." He smiled. Walking back into the house he walked to the living room and grabbed a few things. Then headed back outside.Of course he had to give her something for valentines day, even though it was not the day yet he knew the dance would make it hard to see her and give her something so figured this would be a good time. Handing her a small black box he smiled at her. It was nothing overly fancy but hoped it would make her happy. He was not the best at getting people gifts. What was in the box was a necklace he though would look nice on her. "I know its early but happy valentines day. " He smiled and sat back down in his chair. He was not sure one hundred percent what she would think but was pretty content. Now that was through and she arrived he was rather happy, now just hopefully she would like it and a few more people would arrive.

Dream grinned at him. "Theres no need to be sorry. Its a really beautiful house" She said, glancing around. She was still a bit shocked but it truly was a really nice place. She sat down in the chair next to his as he went to go grab something.
Dream was surprised for a moment as she opened the box e opened her. "Oh, Vince, its so pretty" She said, she gave him another hug. She took off her other necklace, putting it in her pocket. Before turning slightly facing away from Vince. "Can you help me put it on?" She handed the necklace to him an lifted her hair away from her neck. OUTFIT C:

He smiled at her and nodded. He was glad she was not upset about him not telling her about his life before now. But at least he was working on making sure he was honest at the least with her. He was not a fan of secrets so he was working on letting mainly her know some more about himself. Which was actually some what nice. It relived alot of stress off from him. "Thanks hun, It is a little over coming in my opinion." It was true the house was a little too big in his mind he would be happy with a small place where he could work on cars and not worry.
He smiled as she opened the box, she liked it that was really good to know. As she turned around and asked his help he nodded and took the necklace softly. Standing up he walked over behind her and helped her put it on. Hooking the clasp he smiled and put his arms around her and gave her a soft hug. "Looks even better being on you" Kissing her cheek softly he walked back and sat down. He was relieved that everything was going rather well so far.

Chicago reached for her phone without looking up from her laptop as she heard Vanilla Twilight play. Moving her attention from the computer scrren to her phone screen, she opened the message and smiled. It was an invite from Vince. She frowned as she read the address though. That was in the uptown area. Only then had she realised that Vince had never eally told anyone where he lived. Oh well. Getting up from her chair, she text him back letting him know she'd be there soon. She didn't quite know what to wear, so she opened her closet and extracted a dress and threw it on the bed. Walking over to her vanity, she grabbed a few items of jewellry and headed with them into the bathroom where she pulled her hair into a low messy bun type thing which she'd probably end up puling out sooner or later anyway. After she had finished her hair and makeup Chicago walked to her bed and changed into her dress and reached under her bed for her favourite pair of black heels which would probably come off half way through the night also.
----------
As Chicago turned her car into the driveway of the address in the text, she spotted Dreams new car. so she pulled in next to it. Stepping out of the car, she locked it and made her way to the front door of the house, and spotted two of her best friends. "Hey guys!" she greeted them with a grin, "Nice pad Cypher" she said teasingly, pulling her Ray-Bans off her eyes and perching them ontop of her head and then moved in to give each of her friends a hug. ----- outfit: click XD

I never really was good using a knife, but I think I was doing pretty well with carving this little swan out of a cedar block. Already it had one outstretched wing sticking out and I was working on getting the head and neck to take shape. Hopefully this would turn out right; I wasn't much of a sculptor, but hey, I thought it looked pretty fine. I was slowly chipping off little bits of wood when suddenly my phone on the nightstand erupted into a spastic vibrating, skidding across the smooth wooden surface awkwardly. Setting the block of cedar and the knife down, I reached over and picked up my phone, reading that it was a text from Vince. A barbecue, eh? Nice. I was definitely going to go, though I didn't recognize the address. Ah, well; I'd figure it out later.
Standing up off my bed, I had to be careful where I stepped because of all the wood shavings on the floor, but I made it to the bathroom safely and showered, putting on decent looking jeans and a white T-shirt that had a few faded oil stains on it from the auto shop. Not the snazziest, but oh well. I also pulled on a well-used hoodie because, well, it was cold outside and I still couldn't find my keys. Sheesh, I have problems. But anyway, I debated whether or not to pick up the wood shavings before I left, deciding not to. At least the room smelled good.
It took me a while to walk to the place Vince was hosting this barbecue at, and once I found it, it stopped me in my tracks on the driveway. Damn, this was a nice house. He had never mentioned anything about having anything to do with a house before, but this was the right place: he, Dream, and Chicago were all up on at the front of it, conversing. So instead of standing and gawking at the exterior of the house, I headed up the stairs to where everyone else was.
"Real nice place, Vince." I said, a small smile on my face. "Hey Deam. Hey Chicago."

Dream felt a small blush creep into her cheeks when he told her it looked even better on her. When he sat down next to her she grabbed his hand and squeezed it softly. It felt so good to finally be dating him. She wished she would have said yes to him sooner, instead of hiding her feelings.
She grinned as Chicago arrived and gave them both hugs. "Hey, Chicago" She said. Semp was the next to arrive. "Hey, Semper" Dream said, waving to him.

As she held his hand a smile broke over his face. The two where doing pretty well. He expected as such since normally he was better around her then he had before he met her. He went from being a cocky jerk to a rather protective friend and a nice person. He preferred the nicer him over the old mean one. The two talked a little and relaxed under the warm sun.
He herd a car pull up and smiled as Chicago walked up, giving himself and Dream both hugs. Almost right after she had arrived So did Semp. It seemed like this was going to be a decent cook out. He enjoyed having people here for once made it a little more relaxing, now they all knew he would be able to have people more often come visit. Hell even stay if they wanted he had five bedrooms besides his own. "Hey guys thanks. and im glad yall came, Um food is on the table and drinks are near the food. Relax and have some fun."
He took a sip from his cup next to him, it had sweat tea in it. He had alcohol here but simply was not in the mood right now. He planned on having a relaxing evening with friends maybe play games or swim. Who knew, all in all he figured they all would have some fun. "If you guys feel like swimming or drink to much Theirs a pool in the basement heated, has a hot tub as well. And their are plenty of spare rooms So just enjoy the night."

Chicago grinned as she stepped back from giving the two hugs, "So I'm glad you have this big awesome house and all babe, but why'd you wait so long to tell us?" she asked, using her pet name for him and smiling still so he would know she was only joking. She didn't mind that he hadn't told them. Everyone had their secrets, right?
She turned slightly to face Semper so she could say hello, and flashed him a smile, but she couldnt really manage much else. After the whole Kaleb episode, she'd been feeling really horrible about the way she'd treated Semp. At first, she hadnt seen that she's been hurting him, but after her and Sage had had a...heated discussion, she realised that as much as she was trying NOT to hurt him, she had done the opposite.
Placing hand on her hip, Chicago stepped backwards and leant dramatically on the front door. "Vince is all decked out huh? And I'm glad you have a spare room, coz I'm pretty sure I'm not leaving this house." she said, poking her tongue out at her friends. Looking at Vince she put on a soft version of her puppy dog eyes and asked, "Can I go explore? ....Please?"God, she could be such a little kid at times, but what the hell? Thats who she was, and she loved it.

Katherine was not sure why she had come to the barbecue. She barely knew Vincent but he has always been nice to her in class. She had to get over the fact that she was here . She would have to make a life here for herself. She needed to get out there and meet people. The house was stunning and Katherine could help but jump into the big couch that she found in the living room. She laughed as she landed in the cushions. It felt good to laugh; she had not done it since she arrived at the school. When she looked from the cushion, she was shocked to see three faces looking at her. It was Dream, Chicago and Vincent. She just looked up at them and said” Hi, I was just trying the couch out….”

Dream heard Chicago ask to go exploring and Dream grinned. "OH! I wanna go exploring to" She said with a laugh.
Dream glanced around in confusion until she saw Katherine sitting on the couch. "Hey there, Katherine" She said. She grinned at the other girl, they had only talked a few times before now and they were kind of friends. Katherine was a really nice girl.

Tam moved towards the house, not too sure if she she should be or not. She'd never actually met Vince bit Chicago was there and she hoped that was good enough. It was an absolutely ANAZING looking house and she couldn't help but envy him a bit. She hadn't even thought of being a house near school.
She smiled when she saw the others and moved over to Chicago, grinning.
"Hullo," She said cheerfully to the room in general.
(Erk awful post, I'll redo it when I get back onto my computer!)

He smiled at the girls as they chatted, when Chicago asked if she could go explore he gave a nod, Dream then also wanted to go. He smiled a bit and laughed."Feel free, just dont get lost or something... God only knows with you two." He smirked a bit then turned around and walked over to the grill. Flipping some burgers and chicken he grabbed the water bottle next to him and took a sip. It was a nice day out and more people where coming then he had expected.
Turning back around when he herd Kat he smiled and waved to her. He knew her from class, and from what he could tell she seemed to be a pretty nice girl. New to the school and town so he figured she should come out so she could meet some people. Turning his head he gave a wave to Tam as well then returned to the grill. It seemed that he would not be making to much food after all. "Food should be ready in a bit. Maybe ten minutes or so. Yall can go explore if you want no going through my dresser though.. Cant let my secrets out after all."
He smiled some more as he turned and walked over to his seat and sat down. Looking up at Dream, Chicago,Tam, Kat and Semp he raised a eye brow. They all where rather happy as well hopefully some more people would show up but if not oh well. Either way the bbq had more people then he had believed would show up any how.

Koda had been sleeping almost all day since he had arrived late the fallowing night, and once he had arrived he had to of course sit and chat with his older brother. It seemed the two where more alike then he had expected. Vince was smart and into sports, as well was rather popular from what Koda had been gathering. So the two wound up chatting for a good amount of time.
Waking up he rubbed his eyes and sat up. Looking around he saw that it seemed to be a bit latter then he would have expected. Walking over to a pile of clothes he threw on some pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt. Then headed down stairs, stopping right near the bottom he saw a small group of people and blinked. He had not expected their to be people. Then smirked he had forgotten that Vince had said something about him having a Bbq. Walking the rest of the way down stairs he waved as he passed a few people and walked over to Vincent and sat down near him.
He was a little nervous but was not to shy so was not scared about being around strangers. He was just still trying to adjust to the fact he had a brother and now he was living some place new. And really he was not over the fact his parent where dead either. But for all to be said he was actually dealing with everything rather well.
