Jaimes strutted into the Starbucks. He loved the place. It was the only place where he could eat a ton of chocolate and never. Get. In. Trouble. "Can I have a Breakfast Sandwich, uh...Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, and three chocolate chunk cookies?" "Sure," said the lady at the register. As Jaimie waited for his order, he felt his cell ring in his pocket. Instead of answering it, he ignored the call and turned it off. If people wanted to talk to him, they knew where he'd be. "Order up!" Jaimes heard the joking call behind him, and turned to the register lady. "Thanks!" he replied, paying the total, and took his tray to the nearest table. He took a sip of his hot chocolate, and shivered. From the warmth. He laid back in his chair for a bit, and then pulled his iPod out, promptly blaring annoying powerpop music into his head.

Tam moved into the Starbucks, pushing her hair back and moving towards the the register, letting out a relieved sigh. She felt like she'd been walking for aaaaages. She got herself a huge hot chocolate and a large slice of carrot cake.
"Thanks," She said flashing a huge smile at the person at the server, pulling out her red purse and handing the woman the money.
She happily took her things, collapsing into one of the large comfy armchairs with a relieved sigh, carelessly pushing off her heels.

Jaimes was halfway through his breakfast sandwich when he saw a ridiculously beautiful girl carelessly walk in. He watched as she made her order, and then collapsed onto the armchair. As she carelessly took her heels off, he noticed the way that one strand of her hair tended to stray away from her face, and rest onto her cheek. He picked up his tray, and walked over to the place where she was sitting. Instead of sitting next to her, he ploped right down onto the loveseat, and put his feet up on the coffee table. He knew that his steel-toed boots probably left a bunch of scuff marks on the table, but who cared? Jaimes subconciously fingered his triquetra neckline--a gift from his father. He picked up one of the cookies and casually nibbled on one end of it. I love Starbucks... he thought.

Tam glanced up when she noticed someone sit near her, taking a moment to look at him as she drank her hot chocolate before a small smile came to her lips.
"Nice boots," She smirked, tilting her head to the side slightly, placing her cake back on the side table, out of his way.

"Thanks." Jaimie said shortly. He took another bite of his sandwich. Putting his feet down, he put his hand out towards the girl. "I'm Jaimes. Jaimes Shanx." He smiled at her, and took a sip of his hot chocolate (which was almost drained). He felt the warmth of the drink seep through him, and he smiled a bit wider.

Tam leant forward, taking his hand in hers and shaking it.
"Tamara George, you can call me Tam," She smiled pleasantly before leaning back and picking up her drink again, taking a sip.
"I don't suppose you know what the time is?" She asked.

"No," Jaimes laughed. "Unfortunately, I'm too lazy to get a watch." He smiled at Tam, and turned back to his food. Tackling the cookies, he swiftly finished the food. "Well," Jaimie said, smirking. "I'm gonna go now. See you 'round." He walked out of the place, and headed back to the demigod dorms. ((Ugh. Sorry for the crappy post. I'm @ my grandparents house, & their comp. is super slow. Sorry again.))
