» MOSS GREEN. « •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•° Ah, she looked so pretty sprawled out all defenceless and in pieces on his table. The slender curve of her arched back vibrated then stilled as he removed his hand gently and reached for the wires. Poor Oily, she was lovely but finding a spare fan that would fit her was proving difficult and it would take him a while to build her one himself without the Regular students noticing. Of course, they may get suspicious if they seen small metallic body parts lying everywhere too. At least there was this place - the auto-shop where a small portion of the area was kept quiet for the demi-gods to do their work. Stashed away were the bronze swords and handsome shields, the chariot wheels and the sharp spears but a few little telltale signs were spattered across the room welcoming any students of Hephaestus into this little safe-haven. From the corner, a little bird on springy legs chirped up and fell of its perch with a loud thump on the ground. Funny little things like that were what made him love this place - plus, many of the other students avoided this place as it was ‘unclean’ therefore he had plenty time to himself.
Yawning, he stretched lazily back on his chair and wiped the oil from his hands onto his once-white shirt and rubbed the sweat from his upper lip. It must have been about 3pm by now - several hours since he began this little reperation project yet he somehow felt accomplished. During these few hours he had finished the bird, the spear-head for a young girl of Ares and several bow-heads for some of the Archery team which was no small feat when you don’t have as much spare material as you’re used to. All this celestial bronze was hard to work with as well. The golden glow somehow reminded him of that pretty Aphrodite student he had met earlier in the day and he mentally cringed at his behavior but at least she didn’t seem too put off. That was enough human interaction for the day anyway so he was quite contented to just sit here and draw a few sketchy plans for a puppy he was designing…
There was a huge thump from the work-bench before him, once again the kitten started vibrating but this time a little more ferociously than ever before. Panicked her threw on some gloves and headed over to the littlee amber kitten and bust her head open. He was quite sure he had turned her off! Yet like the bird, his creations would sometimes surprise him. WHERE WERE THE FANS?! Picking up the nearest piece of metal he started wildly flapping it at the little beast in hopes of cooling it down. It was working but it wouldn’t be long before he had to give this up. Where were his damn brothers? It was screeching! SCREECHING!! Please don’t draw attention! His last hope faded and he picked up the scolding-hot creature and threw it hard against the wall… it made no more sound after that. “Oh, Oily, I didn’t want you to die like this.” He said softly as he knelt beside the ‘corpse’.

Bird was walking back from starbucks that weekend in the cold. She still needed to do homework, and the line in Starbucks was almost neverending. Bird held a warm caramel macchiato in her hand and even then, her hands were numb. The Sophomore closed her eyes and kept walking, bunching up her shoulders to keep from the cold. Suddenly, the building beside her began to omit loud screeches. BIrd, in concern, dropped her drink and watch it splash all over her jeans and boots. But she disreguarded that and tried to stroll calmly into the building. "Hello?" she called calmly inside, over the noises.

Cradling the kitten in his arms he deposited it in a little drawer out of sight and sound of anyone who might be able to put a truthful explanation to the sight. Starightening himself up he turned to the door and opened it. From here he could see the petite frame of a blonde female with some sort of stain down her jeans. It took a moment to come to his senses but at last he found his voice. "Hullo?"

The boy that stood before her was handsome, at least. His once white clothes were covered in grease, and he had a mop of short hair, yet somehow he looked clean and cute. But that wasn't why she was here. She was wondering where that awful noise was coming from, and if perhaps she could get something to mop up her jeans with. "Hey," she said quietly "What was that, exactly?"

» MOSS GREEN. « •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•° His face filled with dread for a moment - the rules were, he could work here as long as the 'normal' students didn't notice anything strange. Quick! An excuse!
"Um, my kettle exploded. Two seconds and I'll just make sure it isn't going to do anything..." He quickl;y closed the door and scouted for a kettle. The guys were going to be pissed but they would understand. Lifting it high he lopped it off of the opposite wall with a loud crack and returned to the door. "It's okay, not going to explode or anything. Can I help you with anything?" Surely she hadn;t just popped in by to see what the commotion was in a noisy garage... well, it was usually noisy.
[[ Sorry it took a long time, got caught up irl XD ]]

"Um, my kettle exploded. Two seconds and I'll just make sure it isn't going to do anything..." Bird watched the boy's face fill with an expression she could't quickly identify as he spoke, but she brushed it off as he ran out of sight. She looked around her - the Auto Shop. There were simply trinkets everywhere, and very few cars. it seemed the employees had their own mechanical troubles to attend to around here.
"It's okay, not going to explode or anything. Can I help you with anything?" The boy was back just as quickly as he had come in, and Bird was pondering his question. it obviously wasn't rational for her to have been suspicious about the noise in the shop. Auto Shops were usually noisy. But she looked down at her pants. "Napkins?" she asked quietly, pointing at her stained jeans.

Ah, that would make sense. He grinned and motioned for her to step into his domain as he fixed something up for her. For now the room was silent except from the burring of the small furnace in another room but it was locked so she would have thought it was a generator of some kind.
"Step into my office and I'll see what I can do... Want a drink? Um, I did have coffee but my kettle is broken so the best I can do is coke or somethin'" He jerked his chin towards the mini-fridge i the corner stained yellow with oil. His eyes drew back to her, taking in every detail. She didn't seem to have any of the common attributes of the Demi-Gods so for now he had to assume she was pure mortal and therefore he must keep quiet and nose rouse suspicion. "... A friend of mine left her jeans here. You can wear 'em if they fit."

"Step into my office and I'll see what I can do... Want a drink? Um, I did have coffee but my kettle is broken so the best I can do is coke or somethin'" Bird stepped into the office with her arms crossed in the chill. The Auto Shop was plenty warmer than the outdoors, but the coffee down her leg had made her shiver a considerable amount. She had ordered it iced, anyways, as coffee was always the best like that. Now, she certainly regretted it. She watched where he jerked his chin - towards a yellowing mini fridge. Bird shrugged. She wasn't very thirsty at the moment.
"... A friend of mine left her jeans here. You can wear 'em if they fit." Bird smiled. She was going to assume they'd be too large, seeing as she was relatively petite herself. "Thanks," she said quietly, reserved towards her one word sentences.
