There were several rooms that lined the walls of grand ballroom at Richmond High School. The seventh room was labeled nineteen - eighteen. The persons assigned those numbers would walk into the room where they would walk to the left, nineteen, or the right, eighteen. There was a single chair on each side where the person would sit and face a deep red curtain that covered the whole room. At that time, the curtain opened revealing who Miss Smack had partnered them up with.
