HANNOLYNEKODADEVROIS!?
Hey! I go by Koda. I am twenty and I'm loving it. I have been roleplaying for ten years and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I have no one else on this site and I think they're pretty amazing! If you want to contact me you can by PM.
Name: Hannoly Nekoda DeVrois
Nickname: Noly, Koda
Age: Fifteen
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Playby: Dakota Rose
Member Group: Demigodess, Daughter of Iris, Freshman
Appearance: Hannoly isn't a very tall girl, standing at only around five foot one inch. She's a bit chunky for her height, weighing in at one hundred and twenty five pounds, but she gets by. Her style really depends on her mood, as well as her hair and eyes. They change color based on her mood, thanks to the gifts her mother bestowed upon her. Naturally, though, Hannoy's hair is a bright blonde, and her eyes are a stunning blue-green. As I said, they change though, and barely anyone knows what her natural colors are anymore. She usually just claims that she dyes her hair to match her mood and puts contacts in to match, to throw off the human kids. There are the few times, though, when her colors begin to change in front of a human and she needs to get out of there. She tends to carry bottles of hair dye in her purse just in case any questions arise.
Personality: Hannoly's a pretty bubbly person, she loves to have fun, and expresses it through everything. She's a normally happy person, usually smiling and laughing and just trying to have a good time. But there's something else about her, the main reason most people tended to stay away from her. When she was seven, she was diagnosed with Sporadic Bipolar Disorder. All this meant was she got extreme mood swings, but they weren't very common with her. For example, for three months she'd be the happy, bubbly, crazy person people loved. Then the next second she'd curl into herself, not wanting to be around people. When the swings occur, her fuse is extremely short. If someone upsets her or angers her during these times, she's known to snap and lash out. She has actually been suspended for violence during these times. She tries not to be around people when that happens, though. She tends to be more to herself, focused more on her drawings than anything.

History: Strange. That was the only way to describe the birth of Hannoly Devrois. Her father had fallen in love with the most beautiful woman. She'd come out of nowhere, and fell right into his lap. Literally. She had been climbing down a tree and slipped, thankfully, Curtis had been there to catch her. Nine months she stayed with him, until she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. That's when it got strange. As soon as the baby was placed in her arms, the woman stood from the hospital bed, and placed the child in Curtis's arms."I must go home now. I'll watch over you." Those were the only words she spoke before the room was engulfed in bright colors. When Curtis was finally able to open his eyes, she was gone, leaving him with the baby girl. He had no idea how to raise a child, so he did the only thing he thought was right for her. He played ding dong ditch with her at his sisters house. He set her stroller on his sister's doorstep, rang the bell, and ran. What a jerk.
Her aunt raised Hannoly like she was her own child, and apparently, she hadn't treated her own children well. From the time Hannoly grew hair, Maple knew she was different. Her hair kept on changing different colors, and it scared the ever loving crap out of Maple. So she hired someone who dealt with strange things every day. Her next door neighbor claimed to be a medium was hired as Hannoly's permanent nanny. In due time, Tori became her full guardian. Tori knew Hannoly was special, maybe even more so than Tori. While growing up, Hannoly kept hearing things, a woman's voice in her head. When she told Tori about it, she knew her assumption was right. She told Hannoly that she was special, to speak back to the voice and see if there was a reply. When Hannoly was eleven, she started studying Mythology. Greek, specifically. The voice in her head said her name was Iris, claimed that she was Noly's mother. She studied everything she could before Tori enrolled her to a 'special' school. Special because there were kids like her. She had no idea that there were others like her out there, but she couldn't help but be excited.

That was one of the only things that bothered her, a lot of heat. She liked when it was cold. So naturally, she couldn't sleep. With a grumble she tossed her feet over the edge of her bed, slipping out of it almost silently. She reached under her bed and pulled out her slippers, sliding them onto her feet. She wiggled her toes around a bit before she grabbed her bath robe from the hook by her bed, sliding it around her shoulders. She shook her arms a little bit, getting the sleeves all the way down, before she draped one of her small blankets over her shoulder. She needed something to lay down on the recliner. There was no way she was going to sit on those germ ridden chairs. She gave a shudder at the thought before she went to her desk, grabbing up her sketch book and pencils. As long as she couldn't sleep, she might as well do something productive. She slipped out of the room, trying not to wake up her roommate. She wandered down to the Common Room, yawning a bit as she did. As soon as the fireplace came into view Hannoly grimaced. Great, more heat. She shook her head and went to the windows in the room, opening every one of them. As soon as the cool breeze rolled over her, she smiled in content. She snagged the recliner closest to the fireplace so she could have light, and spread out her blanket onto it. She curled up then, opening her sketch book to the middle, to a sketch she had started earlier that morning. It was a chibi-fied girl, holding her hands together. She had hair that went over her left eye, and fell to her hips, almost covering the skirt she wore. Hannoly smiled at it before she opened her tube of colored pencils. It needed some color, so that's what she was going to do until she actually felt comfortable enough to sleep. Of course, she figured she was going to end up sleeping here tonight, there was no way she could go back up to the scalding dorm rooms. |
