On any other occasion, I would never be where I was right now, lying on my back on the wide railing of the pier, staring blankly up at the multi-colored evening sky. No one else was out on the pier aside from a few lone fishermen, so I figured I was alright as far as not being shoved off the railing and plunging down into the ocean and die because I obviously could not swim in the ocean to save my life.
But really, hell if I cared. As fucked up as things were, this was probably one of the better times of my life. Sure, I may have made Tam pregnant screwed over Sage's life done a few minor things, but there was still one person who made me see the bright side of it all... and I can't tell you their name or else I'll be shot when I least expect it. And honestly, I'd prefer to stay alive, despite my earlier beliefs of wanting to be dead. Anyway. I began absentmindedly tapping my boot against the air to a silent, unknown beat, closing my eyes and just listening to the sound of the waves crashing up against the pillars.
((eww, really bad post. Dx ))

It had been a good few months since the last time he had stepped foot into this town, why had he left? Well some things arose and needed to be fixed, and well one thing turned into another. as he walked through the streets, a hood over his head and head down towards the ground his eyes glanced around from place to place. Nothing really had changed since he left. Well except for the fact he along with all his old friends graduated, which oddly he never even showed up to the ceremony. Why? Well as stated things just came up.
The sound of the ocean caught his attention, and brought a soft smile to his face. It was nice to feel the nice breeze with a slight sting of the salts after being in the middle of some forest for the past few months. Turning on his heal he made his way to the crossing line of the road and slowly walked across when it was safe. He walked along the sand for a short time before stepping up onto the pier. As he made his way down a smirk came across his face. Laying their was semper, on of his best friends.
With a smile he slowly and silently made his way to him and stopped next to him and looked down. Giving him a soft kick in the side, nothing that would hurt but would get his attention. "Kid you know its not safe to be sleeping on this pier who knows what kind of guys are out here who would like to bend a boy like you over. "
He smirked and waited to see what his reaction would be, of course he had to mess with him, if he didnt it would just not be the same. And plus the reaction was going to make this night all the more fun, especially when he realized who it was.

The sky was looking beautiful, really, but I was tired. Everything was just all happening at once and it was wearing me down the way massive amounts of rain erode uncovered dirt. I closed my left eye, keeping the right one open since I couldn't see out of it anyway. The milky white cataract had come back faster than anyone had anticipated, covering up the green iris and the pupil. I knew I'd be blind again in that eye, so none of it was all that new to me. I was no stranger to blindness.
Soon enough, I could feel myself slowly start drifting off to sleep when a sudden jab in my side woke me. I wasn't really thinking that anyone was there to rob or attack me, so no retaliative instincts kicked in when I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to clear my vision before seeing someone towering above me. Took me a minute to realize who it was, too.
"Vince," I exclaimed, having not really understood what he had said to be about bending over. I was so glad to see him. "Where the hell've y' been? I feel like I ain't seen y' in months."
