He couldn't blame anyone for having so much fun here, it was romantic and there was great music all bound for one of the best nights ever he thought back to the lyrics of memories what had David guetta said? 'Those will be the best memories' he thought to himself being as he couldn't just talk to anyone out on the dance floor. He looked out for his friends again his brother Damian hadn't really moved and he couldn't find Fransisco in the crowd. He wanted to dance but there was nobody to dance with he shrugged, he'd just have to wait or possible bring up the courage to dance on his own. The sound of someone talking caught his attention.
He turned to see someone smiling at him, she told her name and said hi, then extended her hand. He smiled at her and took to shaking her hand to for it was the polite thing to do "Well Hi Dream, I'm Xolek" he'd heard of Dream a few times most of the time when walking down the Demi-God dorms, she had to be a demi-god right? He wouldn't risk it if she asked him the secret.. well kinda code then he would know but not until then.

Dream took a quick moment to study Xolek. He was pretty cute, not really her type of guy but still, he was cute. She wondered if he was a demigod and knew that the only way to find out would be to ask. " So do you have a, um, special parent?" she asked cautiously. If he was regular she would probably sound rude and then she would have to make an excuse but she was pretty sure that he was a demigod. She was a pretty good guesser at that type of thing.
She gazed around at everyone with a small smile. She was watching for all her friends, she wanted to see what they were wearing. She saw quite a few adorable dresses and couldn't help but think that hers was to plain.

He raised an eyebrow at Dream "I was right" he mumbled under his breathe trying not to sound like an idiot "Yeah my special parent is Athena, and yours?" he asked curiously. Forcing a grin at her she seemed like a nice person, and he couldn't quite think of who had fathered or mothered her. He frowned now he wished he'd gone to work but stupid him had asked his boss for a day off and he'd gladly said yes but it seemed he would have more fun at work then here, nobody other then Dream wanted to talk to him, but he appreciated her for it anyhow.
"So how long have you been going to this school?" he asked looking out into the crowd again, there was just something about tonight and this ballroom that was getting to him, he shrugged and looked back at her twirling his cup in his hand the punch turned and turned and threatened to spill over at him. Which would ruin his night and his first talk with dream, he didn't want to look like a complete fool so he took a drink of the punch and put it back on the table, but this time he started to play with the straw.

"Athena? So are you like super smart or anything?" she asked with a laugh. "My dad is Apollo so I can sing and make people healthy and fun stuff like that" she said carelessly. She had noticed that the atmosphere was filled with lots of tension and glanced around, seeing a few people who looked way hotter then an average person. "Actually, I think a few of the gods and godesses have graced us with their presence tonight"
"I've been here since my freshman year" Dream said, " when did you arrive? I haven't seen you before now but then again I've been really busy" she realized she was starting to babble and quickly shut her mouth, feeling awkward. He probably thought she was being annoying or something.

Chicago was really excited. Her and Semper couldnt arrive togetehr because he had work, but Hayley and herself were going to arrive together in a yellow Lambo her uncle had organised for them. It was a bit of an inside joke between the two, but people would still appreciate the car she hoped.
She gave herself one lats look over in the mirror. She really loved her dress, and her shiny black hair was up in a carefully styled messy bun, with a couple of curls left free.
She had a wierd feeling about tonight but. Infact, she'd had a wierd feeling all week. A pulling or something inside that was confusing the hell out of her. She just hoped that it turned out being good rather than bad.....
------------ fail post X.x Chicago's outfit xD[/size]

---------- The music played and the students continued to flood in as well as the teachers. It was easy for Zeus to tell the difference between those that were human and those that were demigods. Demigods, as well as other gods and goddesses, gave off this special aura. It was more like a change in the air. When someone is alone in a room, they can feel when another human walks in. Well, it was that same situation, except demigods and gods felt that all the time and stronger. When a human walked into the ballroom, the pulse was weak at best. When a demigod walked in, the pulse was stronger, nothing compared to his own, but stronger.
Zeus scanned the room, his perpetrators still not at the prom. The god's eyes found a demigod child and a woman of extreme beauty. Aphrodite. Her pulse was ten times stronger than that of a demigod and he knew there was another god in the room when she entered. A demigod child was blabbering away to Aphrodite, knowing that it was her. In one swift motion, Zeus stood and walked toward the goddess of love, beauty, and sexuality. "Excuse." Zeus looked down at the demigod child, barely acknowledging him. His eyes went back to Aphrodite, his face unchanging. "Now why, may I ask, are you here?" She really had no business being at some high school prom. The only reason Zeus was here under the alias of Joshua Beaman was because he had business to attend to. Aphrodite on the other hand, well, her business was always unknown.

Tam opened her mouth to speak just as a voice called her name behind her. She turned, a huge grin coming to her face when she saw Damian and the rose sitting in his hand.
"Awww that's sweet," She smiled taking it before planting a kiss on his cheek. She heard a vague goodbye from Dream, one that she didn't quite have time to return but gave a small absent wave anyway.
"Give me a minute ok? I wanted to tell Chicago something...not that for the life of me I can remember what it is," She laughed before taking his hand.
"Come," She grinned, pulling on it slightly before she began to move forward. She spotted Fran after a moment, deciding that asking him if he knew where her sister was, was probably a far better idea than trailing her date (and more important her heels) around for half the night was FAR from desirable, especially from the...other things she intended to be doing that night.
"Fran have you seen Chicag..." She began when that little irritating itch she'd been feeling since she walked in flared once more, an itch that couldn't be scratched. She turned to look at the two adults, both almost other worldly in their appearance and more...it was the same woman she'd passed on her way in and it was the same feeling of irritational and strange recognition she got...yet every explanation she came with wouldn't or couldn't make sense...

He smiled at her "I get that a lot, I'm fairly smart but I'm no brainac" Xolek said sitting proper again he raised an eyebrow like he did often "Is that so? I must say, I'd love to have such a father" he was pretty amazed, they had some of the best skills he'd ever seen, it was fascinating to him. He wanted to ask her a few questions but he felt as though now was not the time. He had an odd feeling like something or someone was big, and powerful in the room, he wondered if Dream felt it or if it was just he.
"Your definitly lucky, I can't even count how many times I've moved schools" he frowned as though he was very upset about this but it really wasn't that bad for you learned to depend on yourself more then others. "I've been here for maybe 2 weeks max, it's not very long but still" he said grinning. He looked across the dance-floor and saw Fransisco, Tamara, and two strangers to him at least talking, he wondered if they had gotten in trouble but he wouldn't go to there aid unless he felt as though they needed him. despite not wishing to he diverted his attention back to Dream.

too many dreamers,
There was no way in hell Mona was planning on attending her Prom. Usually, she was in the know kind of person, but after the hockey concussion, she simply wasn't herself. She was sent back to her semi-quiet Cape Cod home for most of the spring trimester, and much to her dissapointment and degradation, had heard little to no word from her classmates since then. She had only returned the week before prom with no date and no dress, and simply no motivation to search for and buy one.
Was it worse that within moments of splaying out on her dorm bedroom floor that her phone buzzed obnoxiously? She had forgotten to place it in the other room, and instead had left it right next to her ear, alarming her completely. Flipping open the cell, she tried to read through the cracks. Mona used her phone very often, but it was inconvenient with an old LG phone with scrapes, scratches, and veiny spiderwebs running along the screen. Despite this, Mona could see a series of numbers beyond the poor, worn lighting.
That's odd, Mona had most of her friends numbers. The fact that this one was disconnected to a name was surprising. She bit her lip, assuming the person had the wrong number, but she was lucky she read the text before pointing that out to the correspondant.
--- Mona. You goin 2 prom?
The girl bit her lip a little harder for just a second, knowing this was her final moment to finalize her decision. If she said no, she coul crash all night, and hear about the party through eavesdropping in the morning. But maybe, if she went, she could be the one on everyone's lips. She didn't know whatever number it was, but it didn't realy matter than much.
---- I guess I am now.
In an hour, she was dressed tip to toe in last year's fashion (but not like any one could tell) in a dress her mother had bought her for her eighth grade semi-formal. Mona had never gone to that either, with three date offers and no final answer to each of them, she had told everyone she was under the weather. It still smelled brand new, but it felt worn in from sitting in her closet for so long. She wasn't ready for this dance, at all. She had rushed everything on, and had simply crossed her fingers that everything looked good. But she saw a lot of happy couples there, and her stomach started to sink. Whatever type of 'thing' she had a few months ago had vanished, after her dream guy almost completely disappeared. In fact, she hadn't seen a blink of this Ryan Savant kid since they had thrown the frisbee at the park.
Whatever, he didn't have to matter anymore. This was prom. "Magical" or not, no girl-ditching guy shoulder ever matter tonight.

Dream started fidgeting absentmindedly in her seat. The tension was high and yet no one was glaring at eachother or fighting. "Ive never really been amazed by being Apollo's daughter, I mean I dont really understand how to really use the powers im supposed to have" Dream frowned slightly and then smiled again.
"Im sorry to hear that. It would be really hard to have to change school so often. I dont think I could do it." Dream noticed that he kept looking at other people and she could help but laugh slightly. "Do you wanna go dance or something? Theres really nothing else to do" She said.

It had been well over three months since he had left Richmond. And when he did so it was not by choice. Three months ago Vince had recieved a call saying he had three hours to be packed up and out the door. What was all of this about? Well we all know that he does not have the best of moods towards certain types of people, and this time he got into a fight that more then he could handle. So with out a single word to Dream, his family or any of his friends he was gone.
Once things where taking care of and he was able to return he took the quickest flight he could find and returned home. The only issue was how was he going to explain to every one his vanishing act, Especially with Dream, at the least he could have called would be what she would most likely say yet he did not make any contact with any one. Not because he didnt wish to but more or less to keep them all safe and out of his troubles.
As he walked through the town he saw a few posters up about prom and about the theme. Smirking a little he returned home and got ready, He figured this would be the best way to just show up. Prom had already started but he figured at least if he showed some one would take notice and things would be like the used to. He put on a white tux, and left the house and headed to the school.
Parking outback he looked around and let out a soft sigh and smiled. Glad more then ever now to be back. making his way through he paid the fee to get in and walked inside. Their was music playing and class mates dancing. It seemed to be going well, and every one seemed to be happy. Walking over to one of the tables he sat down and looked around the room to see if he could find some one he noticed.

Dream was startled when she noticed Vince walk in. He was incredibly handsome looking and she found a smile on her face but the smile was quickly replaced by a frown. "I need to go talk to someone quick, Xolek." she didn't explain anything else but quickly stood up. Her pale yellow dress fluttered around her legs and she took a moment to smooth it out.
Her mind was spinning as she slowly walked towards him. She didn't know whether to be happy or to punch him. She was a confused mess by the time she reached him. She stood in front of him with her arms crossed, unsure of what to say. She hadn't even decided if she wanted to yell at him or not so she went the easiest way. "Hey Vince" she said softly.

He had not really seen any one around since he had arrived, honestly he was thinking about just getting up and leaving, Why had he even come here? Three months and not a word and now here he was trying to get right back into things? Was it a good idea of not? His mind was frantic trying to figure out what he should do. Letting out a soft sigh he looked down at the floor and tried to clear his mind.
His eyes lifted when he saw some one standing in front of him and the soft familiar voice of the one person he was more worried about seeing then any one. Looking up at her he smiled and stood up. He had no clue even what to say, and he could tell by the look she held neither did she. The two of them where with out words. Taking a soft breath he cleared his throat and walked up closer to her and gave her a soft hug. And spoke softly.
"I am so sorry.. thing came up and i could not drag you into my problems, If something happened to you id not have been able to live with it. I know this is not a excuse for not even so much as calling you but please know that their was not a single day that went by that I did not think about you. "

Dream let out a soft sigh as he hugged her and then a moment later she hugged him back. It felt so good to hug him again. "I've missed you so much. I....I thought you weren't gonna come back" She couldn't think of anything more to say but she wasn't as confused now. She was very happy to have him back.
"I don't know whether I wanna yell at you or not." she let out a slightly choked laugh. She was close to crying and she didn't want to cry.

he could not help but smile a little. He had to admit he was happy to be back. And every thing he had said was true. Looking down at her he stepped back a little and smirked at what she had said. She did have every right to do so. But he could also tell she was trying to not cry. Which made him feel rather bad. He wished he was able to turn back time and fix what he had done so they never where separated.
"If you want to yell do so. You got every right in this world to do so. But it is prom.. so what kind of boy friend would i have been If I did not make it to this event? And I promise I wont ever leave again with out letting you know."
Stepping away he looks around for a moment then back at her. Smirking a little he looks back towards the boy who she had been talking to before he had arrived. "So who was your friend? Cause I do think you said you would dance with him.. hmmm If I had not arrived tonight i might have lost you.. well guess I thank the gods for not letting that happen."
