The sun peeked past the horizon signaling to a new day. However, today was no normal day. Today, was the day the senior class of 2011 was graduation. Students at Richmond High School were leaving their life as teenagers and entering society as an adult. The campus which they spent the four greatest years of their lives was being left behind for apartments and houses. Text books and sports would be set aside for taxes and careers. Old friends would separate and new ones would be made. Today, there were no "south campus" or "north campus" dwellers, just nervous students getting ready to end one chapter of their life just to begin a new one. The amphitheater was decorated with blue and black balloons. A banner hung from the podium that said, "Richmond Class of 2011 Go Trojans!" Seats were set up in rows in columns for graduates. Separate seating was made available for family and friends who were there to support their loved ones. Teachers and staff were already lining up diplomas and practicing their speeches as students got ready in the dorms. There was a sort of silence over the school. It wasn't necessarily a sad silence, but a silence that gave every teacher and student the opportunity to reminisce over all the classes, sports, and people they have met at Richmond High School. While every senior said they were ready to graduate, deep down, every single one of them would miss the place they called home for so many years. What they did not know, was that one particular student would not have the chance to graduate. No, she didn't fail her senior year for she wasn't even a senior yet. And no, she wasn't in the hospital unable to make it to graduation. Instead, her cold body was tied to an old bed with no mattress. Her blood was slowly being drained into buckets where a man in a mask was loading into his truck. Her lifeless body laid on the bed and the man reached in his pocket to place a flattened black rose on her chest along with a note that read, "Here lies Romie Fitch. This beautiful young lady may now have a new beginning. Do not fret, she will not be the last one with the chance of rebirth." Signed, "Richmond Reaper."
Note: No one knows that Romie is dead yet so no one may find her. If you would like your character to find Romie please PM this account. Also, After this thread ends August 14, all students will be changed to their new grade. Please be patient.

Sage pulled over his black gown embroidered with a red "R" for Richmond on the left side breast area. He positioned his hat on his head, the red tassel hanging on its correct side signaling that he was still a Richmond High School senior. Once he was handed that diploma and that tassel was moved to the opposite side, he would no longer be a Richmond Trojan. He would have to figure out what to do with his life especially since his father was cutting him off from any sort of family money. He wouldn't be able to live in their home in Richmond like he had hoped and he wouldn't have his butler Niles that was more of a father to him than his actual dad. His whole life was changing all because his years of being a kid was over. He would have to grow up now and that scared him to death.
The only thing he had to hold on to was Semper and Tam. The three were going to live together and he was beyond relived. They were the only constants in his life right now. He had wished he met Tam earlier because she was such a remarkable woman. Semper had always been there since they both came to Richmond as freshmen. Sage knew he was going to cry. He wasn't just leaving people, but leaving memories behind. A sudden wave of emotions flooded his body as he remembered meeting Chicago. Even though she wouldn't be graduating if she was here, she definitely would have been in the front row to see her fiance and half sister and brother graduate. It was going to be weird not seeing her gorgeous blue eyes in the front row. Sage shook his head and walked out of the bathroom in his dorm ready to go.

I'll admit; I wasn't particularly happy to be sitting in a back row, knowing full well that I wasn't going to be called tonight. I wore all black-and-red clothes as a tribute to the school I could still call home. I didn't see me not graduating with the other seniors as an omen or bad luck. Just unavoidable. I might be smart, but it was all an insult to my intellect, so I refused to do 75% of the work, which, sadly, prevented me from passing. Lazy was what I was. Smart, but lazy. It didn't help that my grades dropped so absolutely when Chicago disappeared. I barely knew Chicago, but the mood of the entire school had changed. I sighed, and watched as the graduate class of 2011 went into their seats. I recognized the tall form of Semper, and the stunning blue eyes of Sage. So I just kicked back, relaxed, and watche the show.

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation? You build up hope, but failure's all you've known. Remember all the sadness and frustration, And let it go. This was what four years was coming down to. The best -- and worst -- four years of my life was finally drawing to a close, and I could certainly say that I didn't want them to end. I had discovered so much about myself here, everything from being bisexual and perfecting my powers, and I was having issues leaving it all behind.
Another thing I was having issues with leaving behind was Chicago. Richmond was the only place I'd known her -- other than Hell -- and it was here that I lost her. She was one of my best friends and the first very serious relationship I'd ever been in, so to leave this place was like moving out of the house you spent your entire childhood in. A piece of me would always stay here with her, almost as if she were a ghost that haunted the halls at night, permanently attached to this school.
I couldn't think about that, though. I had to move on, as difficult as that was, and as much as I didn't want to. I had to find the positive things in life and cling to them, but what was there? Yeah, I was still alive. Yeah, I was alright for the most part. But aside from all that, I had nothing left other than three people to turn to. I loved them each dearly, but nothing could fill that empty space that Chicago left.
I sat down in my assigned seat, looking out at all the people that had gathered. Raphael and his family were somewhere in the chaos, so I wasn't going to try to find them until afterward. Right now, all I wanted was to talk to Sage, but this red tassel dangling in front of my face was distracting me. Having nothing else to do, I blew air at the tassel, making it sway back and forth to keep myself occupied.

Fagan sat in with the band, back in the back with all the other percussionist; next to one of her half-brothers. The drummer's were all talking, joking around and talking about who they'd miss and who they wouldn't miss. Fagan was just happy that this was the last year she'd have to play the stupid graduation songs. I mean seriously, how many times can you take the first repeat back to measure A in Pomp and Circumstance before you got tired of it. This would be the last time she'd ever have to worry about it.
The other band kids were milling around; getting their instruments or music ready or talking to friends, or whatever. Fagan's eyes scanned out of the gathering crowd. Parents were there, brothers and sisters, grandparents, teachers, coaches, everyone. She wondered if the more divine parents came to graduation. Probably not Zues, or his brothers.. But maybe the other gods, the ones that didn't have much else to worry about. In her head she quietly hoped that Apollo would be there next year for her graduation night.
Fagan's eyes looked out into the graduating class. She'd been friends with some of them; a few she was starting a band with. Blaise would probably be here soon. Her older brothers and sisters were out there. She was proud, if not a little sad.
She leaned back in her chair, playing with the orange ringlets that fell on her shoulders. The ceremony would be starting soon, and that meant the band would start to play. Until then, she'd enjoy her freedom from the unholy length of the dreaded graduation song, and watch the people fill in.

"] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You've got this, Fox!"
If only she felt as confident as she looked. Graduation was something she had been looking forward to since she walked through Richmond High's doors for the very first time. Four years had managed to pass her by without a second thought. As she got dressed and ran a brush through her mess of hair, Hayley plopped down onto her bed and smiled at her sleepy black cat. "Wish me luck, I'll need it." When the motionless blob of fur perked his head up and meowed, Hayley couldn't help but feel like he was giving her the luck she had asked for. And they said cats were silly animals.
She had the rest of her life ahead of her and not a plan in site, maybe she would pursue a degree in music and make something out of her passion. Getting paid to do something she loved seemed like the perfect plan. The chairs had been set up and the names of the graduating class were set up in alphabetical order. Scanning the chairs for "F" she beamed with joy when she found her name, Hayley Fox written on the chair. The realization that her time to graduate had finally arrived was bittersweet. She had made so many good friends here in Richmond and would miss them all dearly, but this was not the end. It was only the beginning.

Scotty sighed as he looked at himself in the bathroom. He didnt care if he was late, I mean he'd only been in this school for a couple months and he was already gradutating. Well so was Semper Capone, his brother from the same mother (XD). They were both sons of Demeter and both country kids. Apprently Semper had been here way longer than Scotty was, since he was a freshman to be exact. He had loved the school while it lasted, it was a nice school. The school was special. A school for the special kids. No not the retarted or the down syndrome. Although when he got out of school he wanted to help the kids with down syndrome. It was his dream, he loved them. It thought they were actually more sweet that people (pfft, bear xD Also that is my real dream and feelings). He pulled his red and black cloak type thing over him and walked out. He put his hat on and swung it to the right side. He quickly ran down the stairs and passed a boy with black hair. His name was Tori, I recall. Then there was Semper. He walked up. "Can I sit her'?" He asked Semper pointing at the empty seat. He hoped Semper remembered him, I mean they met then met again and he didnt remember him.

Post by Tamara George on Jul 30, 2011 12:40:39 GMT -5
Tam sat in front of the mirror in her room. The place was pretty much spotless, everything was packed away, the posters and the signature mess that had been hers for the past year had simply...vanished. She was a 'grown up' now...whatever that was supposed to mean...
She got up eventually, her camera in hand, her hair and make up done, her outfit beneath her robe pressed and ironed and...wow...it was finally happening. She took the long way to the Quad in a considerably more pensive mood than usual. It'd been one hell of a year. She'd fallen in love twice, had her heart broken once, been engaged, made a whole bucket load of friends, lost a few, gained a few more, made a whole heap of mistakes, probably learned a few lessons and finally, she'd found her place. She would stay there in Richmond, with Sage and Semp, two people she was pretty sure she couldn't live without, and she'd work her way from there. She had her life ahead of her and so much to fill it with. No other school year had caused her to suddenly drop down dead and this one wouldn't either.
So with that thought, she unwrapped her robe from where she was huddling it round her, the usual confident stride returning. She was Tamara fucking George and she'd be bloody well remembered as such! A grin captured her lips as she pulled open the door to the quad, delighting in the few gazes that turned to her, smirking at a few people, waving at some others and beaming at a few more.
She found Semp pretty easily, plonking herself down with a huge childish grin and a playful air.
"Happy graduation day bubz," She said cheerfully with a wink.

I wanted to leave this hell hole more than anything, but where would I go? I'd sooner die than go back to Oklahoma where that slut of a mother is. I could have just failed my senior year so I could stay in the dorms, but then I'd be forced to do all that work again. I barely scraped by as it is and I sure as hell didn't want to do all that again.
But I couldn't really leave. I had Becca and soon I'd have Charlie to keep he grounded here in Richmond, but I couldn't take care of them. It made me feel awful knowing that. Sure, I had a job, but aside from that, I had nothing. Absolutely nothing. I wanted to be able to be there for them, but when you have nothing, what can you give?
I found the K section and sat in my seat, not really wanting to have anything to do with anyone until this whole ceremony was over so I could just go be with Becca. I had no family here, and frankly, I was glad. I didn't want to have to deal with weeping relatives and such. Huh. As my eyes scanned the crowd, I couldn't help but wonder if Zeus was out there somewhere, evaluating all the demigods that were about to walk across the stage. Just the thought of that bastard made my lightning scars tingle as if there was still a little bit of electricity surging through me, and I hated it. I just wanted to get this over with so I could leave and go be with Becca.

Sage looked at the alarm clock that sat on the side table by their bed. A sigh escaped his lips. IT was about time he made his way to the Quad and faced his fate. He would be one of the first people to graduate which he like but hated. He hated that he was going to be one of the first people to leave this school as an "adult." Sage walked out of his dorm looking back at it one last time. All the pillows and sheets were stripped form the bed. Posters and pictures were in boxes somewhere. The only thing left was that alarm clock that Sage planned on leaving. That alarm clock that he slept through several times but woke up his best friend Semp plenty of times. Sage smiled slightly and walked back in, unplugged the clock from the wall, and wrapped up the wires so he could take it with him.
Sage then closed his dorm room for the very last time. He made his way to the Quad where students were already sitting in alphabetical order. Parents and younger students were in the audience holding balloons and flowers. Sage didn't bother to check if his father was there. He knew he has some sort of meeting in Paris that week and wouldn't make it to Sage's graduation. He really wasn't that disappointed since he expected it. He saw Semper and Tam chatting it up and contemplated going up to them. Sage decided against it, not wanting to feel any sort of sadness. He sat in the A area and gently placed is alarm clock on his lap.

Post by Dodger Moore on Jul 30, 2011 23:22:13 GMT -5
The realization that Richmond High's Class of 2011 graduation had arrived finally arrived when he looked at his cap and gown as they were sprawled out on the passenger seat of his car. Four years of his life had flown by with a blink of an eye, four years that had changed him for good it not for the better. High school just about done him in, with the car wrecking and the late nights spent with his face against the keyboard trying to throw together one sad excuse of an essay and waking up with no recollection of the events from the night before. Adjusting his cap, Dodger brushed the tassel out of his face and let it settle towards the side. Against all odds, he managed to survive high school with minor injuries and decent grades. It would be impossible to forget the friends he made along the way, those who were brave enough to put up with him in the first place. All of the memories were rushing into him like a waterfall, most of them good but a handful of them were painful ones he would much rather push out of his subconscious. The "Chill Club's" legacy would live forever, even if the students that persistently promoted it had left. Then of course, there was the wrecking of his beloved red car who didn't stand a change against the truck that slammed into it and crushed it to bits...yeah, that completely sucked. But Chicago pulled some strings and granted him the choice to pick a new one, and he never got the change to thank for it before she completely vanished.
With a shrug, Dodger found his designated seat in the fourth throw from the front with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. Although he was infamous for doing things anyone with a brain would consider stupid...he was graduating from High School. And if you asked him, he sure as hell deserved a snow cone for that.

Sarafina woke up at the sound of her alarm going off she reached over hitting the snooze butten lightly, she sat up looked over at Beau who was sleeping on his half of the bed she reached over scratching his head. She got of bed, walked over to the bathroom turning on the water until it was just right, nothing like a morning shower to wake you especially on a day like this....Graduation Day for the seniors. Of course she would go since her half brother Semper Capone, and her soon to be husband Dodger Moore were graduating. She didn't know if her cousin Xi was or not but she would have to wait and find out. After taking a quick ten minute shower she dried herself out went to her room and got out a pair of jeans, a v-neck shirt a button up shirt to go with it. After getting dressed and drying her hair, she was off to the graduation ceremony. It took her a while to find the seat but lucklie she got one, it would be a bit longer before the ceremony would start so she had time to kill. She giggled as she easily found Semper since he stuck out like a sore thumb cause of his height, but Dodger wasn't so easy, she looked around before finding him in the fourth row. She didn't know if she was the only person here for Dodger but so far it seemed liked that, Sarafina was proud of both Semper and Dodger since it had been a rough year but hey they made it and she was happy for them both.

Post by Fransisco Rios on Jul 31, 2011 15:24:55 GMT -5
Francisco was running late. Today was his senior graduation and he had not too long before the ceremony began. He had been absent for at least a month and he’d have A LOT of explaining to do. He hadn’t had any contact with any of his dorm mates or even his gal-pals Tam and Chicago. He felt disconnected from his school that he only occupied for his senior year. Although he gained great friends and relationships whilst being there, he felt he missed out on a lot. His room mates had been there for what seemed like forever and Francisco was sure they knew every crack and crevice there was at the school. That is why Francisco decided to teach there as a Fashion teacher. He really enjoyed it and what could he say Fashion ran throughout his family so it was a win, win situation. His uncle, Alexander McQueen, was one of Aphrodite’s bringing and a very well off fashion designer. So it should be an easy get go.
As he made his way inside the school he quickly darted to the dormitory, hoping to catch either Sage or Semper before the ceremony. He pulled out his key and unlocked the door to his room. Empty. Besides the beds, desk, drawers and night stands the entire dorm was deserted. No sign of life anywhere. “Shit!” He said as he made his way to the bathroom. Luckily all his toiletries were in a box marked ‘FRANCISCO’ in large red print. He quickly sprayed a few squirts of cologne on his neckline and rushed out of the bathroom. He was about to leave the room when something caught his eye. A black robe was strewn across his bed. Not really caring how it got there or who put it there he easily pulled it over his head. Fixing the cap on his head, he couldn’t help but admire himself in the full body mirror. “Damn I look good.” He lingered there for a few seconds before he needed to rush back out the door.
Making his way to the quad he noticed all the décor that was covering the school. He never knew graduation would be a big thing until now. He stopped and realized: “Wow, I’m actually becoming an adult…” Picking up his stride he came to a small desk where a teacher was positioned. “Hi I’m Francisco Rios.” She looked at a sheet of paper, checking to make sure he was a graduating senor and directed him to his seat. “Thank you.” He said as he went to his seat. He was a few minuets early so he decided he’d scout for one of his roomies. He found Semper who seemed to be busy talking to Tam so he decided not to bother him. He was about to give up searching for Sage when he saw him, sitting alone. With a jolt of success he made his way over to him. “Hey there, amigo how have you been?” He said a little to happily.

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation? You build up hope, but failure's all you've known. Remember all the sadness and frustration, And let it go. The tassel was really doing the job of keeping me occupied. I continued to blow it back and forth, my eyes starting to hurt from having to focus on something so close to my face for so long. Eventually I stopped, blinking quite a few times to fix my eyes and then tried to find something to do while waiting, but I didn't have to wait long. Scotty -- my blood brother -- came over, asking if he could sit next to me. I nodded. "Sure." His last name was Cerry, so we would end up somewhere near each other anyway.
Tam then came over, sitting herself down on my other side. "Happy graduation day, Tam." I replied, returning the same kind of smile that she was giving me. It's really a good thing that she, Sage, and I would be living together after graduation. I honestly don't think I could live and function properly without them.
