Tam sat herself down in her usual seat by the window overlooking the pier and the great stretch of blue spanning out beyond it, contentedly helping herself to her fish and chips soaked in their usual potent amount of vinegar and salt. There was nothing quite like burying your guilt beneath mounds of food. She wasn't sure she even quite had the heart to go out and actually do something that evening but repeating the whole event with another bloke again seemed a bit like hard work.
So instead, she'd be content with her food instead, eventually go back home, hide spend some time in her room, maybe watch a movie or two then go to sleep. Oh and now she remembered it she should probably actually take a look at the post she'd carelessly thrown in her bag on the way out that morning. Bleh, it was like the moment she left school, the bills came literally POURING through the letterbox.

I really don't know why I was here. I never really liked fish and all this restaurant served was fish, but for some reason I was out to try something new, which is completely uncharacteristic of me. But oh well.
I had a few extra dollars from the butcher shop, so I figured I might as well try something new for my lunch break since the grocery store was right beside the bay, which was where the Nom was located. It looked really fancy, but the prices weren't all that bad, actually -- er, well, not bad for someone who was just looking for a one-time deal.
As soon as I entered, I spotted a head of wavy blonde hair that I recognized to be Tam. Well, now. I looked around the place and noticed that it was mostly empty, so instead of being by myself, I decided to at least try to be civilized and friendly. I went over to where Tam was seated and sat down across from her. "Hey." I said curtly, briefly making eye contact with her.

Ryan laid his head on his 96 Bronco's steering wheel. Sighing with boredom, his stomach rumbled. And like any boy, when the stomach calls it calls and you must get food. He revved his truck to life and drove down multiple streets, watching people he passed. He pulled up to a small restraunt, laughing at its name. Nom Nom Fish, oh who woulda thunk it. Jumping out and closing the door of his truck he ran a hand through his shaggy non-kept hair.
Ryan entered the restraunt, it was pretty much empty except for two people. I sat down in one of the booths where I had a complete view of a very very nice looking wavy haired blonde. He looked at the guy that sat across from her. He looked like the stereotypical douche. He couldn't think that those two were dating... ah well. Didn't mean a little casual flirting would hurt.
The waitress came up to him, and he ordered a coke and fish and chips. Not that he completely liked fish, but hey there's always time for new things.

Tam looked up when she felt someone sit opposite her.
"...Bear..." She said, somewhat stunned.
"Decided to bless me with your prescence then, my god you must be ill...or drunk...ooo or you've hit rock bottom...no! The police are finally onto you and you need an alibi, I'm sorry darling, that's not the kind of service I do," She pouted teasingly. She'd recently found that teasing Bear was almost as fun as shagging him.
"Have a good time at the party then? I didn't see you much, see the tide didn't get to you," She snickered as she picked at a chip but her attention was quickly distracted as she noticed a bloke enter the place. She watched him go past, a smirk playing on her lips, her gaze following him as he sat down before throwing him a slight wink, soon turning back to Bear.
"Are you actually going to order something or sit there scowling, watching me eat?" She asked him pleasantly, still very much aware of the rather yummy blonde behind her.

I just sat there staring blankly at Tam as she rambled off all the possible reasons for me to be sitting there in front of her. No, I hadn't hit rock bottom though I was very close, and no, the police weren't after me yet, and I wasn't sick or drunk. To be honest, I really was surprised that I hadn't been arrested yet... I really need to stop going after people. The pocket knife in my pocket suddenly felt really heavy and cold against my thigh, which made me absentmindedly glance down at the small ridge protruding from my pocket.
"What, I can't just try to be friendly and have a civilized conversation without you assuming the worst?" I asked somewhat gruffly, fairly annoyed at her already. I realized that I never really had a decent conversation with her, so maybe that's why she thinks I'm here to beg her for alibis, or something. I give her the "you're fucking kidding me" face, eventually shaking my head. "Yeah, that was oh so funny." I muttered, trying to refrain from telling her how much of a sick joke that was she pulled on me the other day at the party. She knows I hate the water, so she felt it was funny to make me nearly jump out of my skin.
My eyes followed her gaze as she watched some random guy go by, but he didn't quite interest me for very long, so I looked back at Tam just in time to see her wink at him. Okay, what the fuck? I narrowed my eyes at her. "Really, Tam? Really?" Okay, so maybe I was a bit jealous of that guy... and maybe I was overreacting... and I admit, maybe I still had feelings for Tam... but none of that mattered now. I quickly raised a hand to my face and rubbed my temples, trying to get over that. No, I love Becca. I love Charlie. I love Becca and Charlie. Not Tam.
"I'm just trying to figure out what the hell you're eating," I said eventually, dropping my hand back onto my lap and looking down at that plate of wretched looking sardine things. Good Ripred, it looked like those packet of fish you used for bait to go fishing with..... "You're so damn weird. That looks like rotten fishing bait."

Tam gave a snort.

There was more shagging than meaningful talks and it's not like we ever had normal conversations when we did talk, no offence or anything...actually feel free to take offence if you want, but you're not exactly the most eloquent bloke out there...although you are pretty damn good..." She mused, waggling a chip as him absently. She had liked Bear...still did actually, just not so crazy about him and slightly less likely to want to murder his beloved Becca...stupid bitch.
"Very good actually..." She mused before continuing.
"Darling, haven't you hear? I'm the comedian of the year! It was hilarious, you know perhaps you should work on getting over that fear, you know, go for therapeutic scuba diving, you can't go round pretending to be all big and scary when you not only have a cat named Mittens but you're also just as shit scared of water as aforementioned cat," She grinned, her attention being redirected towards the end as she briefly glanced back at the bloke in the other booth before turning back, a small frown furrowing her brow.
"What do you mean, 'really'? He's gorgeous...gah now I wish you'd sat somewhere else, he's hardly going to come over and start chatting me up with some miserable git sitting opposite, you ruin everything for me," She complained. She didn't mind it really, for all the whining and the moaning and the teasing, she liked Bear and she liked his company..then again she always greatly liked the look of the other bloke and enjoyed shagging even more.
"This is good stuff, look, try some," She said pushing the plate towards him a bit.
"Promise you, the sea won't immediately come get you," She grinned.

Ryan wasn't much interested in his food as much as much as he was interested in the blonde, and even more intrigued when he was winked at by the blonde. And from the look of it annoyed the guy she was with. He smirked and chuckled under his breath. He sipped at his coke and listened, well eavesdropped on their conversation.
"Yes. Conversation was never a strong point, remember? "I hope I'm not being to forward by sitting down, but I happened to notice you were staring at me."He grinned flashing a smile. "But, there must be something wrong with my eyes, because I can't take them off you."
He smiled at his really cheesy pick up line. But, he hoped it worked. He glanced at the other guy and gave him a 'bitch-I-just-stole-your-girl.' look.

Today was Aero's day off, which was good because she was really tired of smelling like grease four days a week. She would have to have two showers and wash her clothes before the smell finally got out of her skin. She was going out to get some food, but since it was her day off she wanted to stay away from the grease.
She stepped lightly into the weird fish place she had never been in before to find only a few people there. She raised an eyebrow at the terrible pick up line before grabbing a stool close to the booth and order some fish and chips.
"Extra salt please." Aerowen added just as the guy was turning around. Yes, Aero has a thing for salt. The more the better. Sometimes she could actually eat it out of the shaker if she really felt like it. She was not going to do that this time though.
Not to be overly rude and interrupt but that is one of the worst pick up lines I have ever heard." [/color] She turned on her stool slightly so that she could look at the three others. Something felt weird about then, as if it was a gut feeling. Her eyes locked onto Bear as she gave him a quick glance before checking out the other two blonds. Were they like her? She couldn't tell, she had not been very social around school. She truned around yet again to look at her plate of food that was just placed in front of her. She picked up a fry and nibbled on it, not sure if she should have spoken at all.[/blockquote] |

Tam was just about to launch into another round of nagging when she felt the seat sag slightly beside her, promptly followed by a voice. My god, the bloke must have had balls of some kind.
"Well I don't mind," Tam smirked back, easily responding in the same flirty tone.
"But don't get too forward, we're both perfectly aware of the fact that I just happened to be looking in your general direction and for the most part, not directly at you...but I guess I should let you dream," She teased lightly, her tone still the same seductive humm, a smirk moving onto her face...before she heard the last part, another voice chip in and promptly began to laugh.
"Awww it was awful wasn't it?" She laughed looking up at the girl who'd spoken.
"But don't worry, I'm sure I could teach you a few things," She smirked lightly at the bloke, only loud enough for him to hear.

Evangeline took one step through the doors and felt a wave of power rush over her, Huh, well I guess today's going to be a fun day. She walked past a booth with a great looking blonde guy, a mean looking brown haired guy, and a sweet looking young lady. She sat up at the bar and a young man, a few years older asked her what she wanted to drink. She brushed his hand slightly and tilted her hand asking,"What do you think is good here?" She said it in her normal british accent, the words flowing off her tongue like a charm. He stuttered replying,"T...The fi..ish and ch...chips here are goo...od." She smiled at him with a warm, lustful smile and said,"I'll take one of those and a Dr. Pepper please." She could feel his nervousness, and smiled with another smile as he nodded dramatically and walked away.
A few seats over from her she saw a young girl, a year or two younger than her watching the packed booth across from the bar. She asked in a quite and extremely british tone,"What's going on over there? Did something happen?" She asked it and realized that curiosity killed the cat, but she was still set on finding the reason for the commotion. The man came back with her fish, chips, and soda, and she smiled with her killer smile as he set it down. She handed him a twenty dollar note and told him with a flirtatious charm,"Keep the change, you deserve it with a beautiful face like that." She chuckled thinking, Oh, Evangeline. You are good. The boy smiled and relaxed a bit as she softened her face. He walked away, sticking the change in his back pocket and grabbing a piece of paper with his number on it. "Give me a call if you want to see how real men do it." She smiled thinking, No, not the one for me. Darn. She smiled and said to him,"We'll see if I can fit you into my schedule." They chuckled as he walked away. She ate the fish slowly turning her head ever so often to see what was happening, if anything, until she finally finished.
She scooted over next to the beautiful girl next to her and smiled offering her hand,"I'm Evangeline Byrne." She said it in a natural, but proper british accent.

Ryan had balls, or else he wouldn't be intruding. He loved her playfull flirting back her voice hummed in his ears. And everything was going well until a very annoying voice intruded. He turned his head to the girl sitting on a stool and was now annoyed about how she completely spoke out against his pickup line. He knew it was stupid and cheesy but cheesy can be cute. Now this chick better get off his balls and let him flirt.
Ryan's thoughts were interrupted by yet another pretty looking blonde, dude was Richmond full of just gorgeous chicks or was it just his imagination. He blinked and shook his head. No he was occupied with one at the moment.
"Awww it was awful wasn't it?" She laughed looking up at the girl who'd spoken.
Ryan turned back to the girl and had almost been heartbroken but noticed the playfullness in the girls eyes.
"But don't worry, I'm sure I could teach you a few things," She smirked lightly at him, and whispered only loud enough for him to hear. Ryan completely brushed off the other girls comments.
"Well, that would be mighty kind of you. And I guess it would be kind of me to introduce m'self. I'm Ryan Anderson pleased to make your acquaintance. "

Tam returned to her food, picking at another chip before taking a sip of her drink and returning to other Ryan, giving another light laugh.
"Names..." She began when she was distracted by what sounded a great deal like an accent pretty damn similar to her own. She turned slightly to look over the back of the booth at the dark haired girl who'd spoken before and another girl who was blonde like herself. She lingered for a moment longer before giving a mental shrug and turning back.
"Sorry, my name's Tam," She smiled.

"Well I'm sorry to have fucked up your plans for eventually screwing that guy." I muttered in response to her, then snorting at the offer she gave me for the fish and chips. It really did look disgusting. "Fucking hell no. I'd sooner eat a rotten raccoon." I grimaced at the thought of eating rotting roadkill that looked like what Tam was horking down. That was just disgusting. "How you eat that, I'll never know."
Oh, and then that's when the party really began. That blonde guy from earlier came over and sat right down by her and immediately began talking to her. I couldn't help at snort at that stupid thing he called "a pickup line." "Bitch, if you don't take your eyes off her, I'll tear them out of their sockets and make sure you don't lay eyes on her again." The dark tone I used reflected how irritated I was, especially since he gave me that look. Fucking dammit, that was just the icing on the cake. My hand snaked down to my pocket where the pocket knife was, ready to yank it out and stab the bastard. Yeah, that's right, it was the worst pickup line I've ever heard. I glared at the snarky blonde before looking over at the girl who had mentioned that he had a terrible set of phrases for getting girls to notice him. I sure as hell noticed him, and I must say, if he couldn't come up with anything better than that, he's the dumbest cocky ass I've ever met.
Okay, so maybe I was being bitter to provoke an attack out of Dumb Ass Blondie. I knew I was a good fighter -- just about the only good thing I got from dear old daddy Ares -- so I could sure as hell take him. Pft, he was short, too. Little Dumb Ass Blondie.
"Well, Ryan Anderson and Evangeline Byrne, who the fuck invited you two?" I leaned back in my chair, still keeping all four of the legs on the floor. Obviously neither of these two had any sense to mind their own business -- and that other girl, the one who had said that what's-his-face Anderson had used such a shitty line, who the hell was she? Now that I thought about it, Emily, or whatever the hell her name was, sounded just like Tam, but just a lot less obnoxious.

Her gut feeling them moved into her chest as someone else entered. Another Demigod? Well now didn't this just suck! One of her first days out and now there were at least three demi's around her and were totally overwhelming her senses, and her curiosity. She wanted to know which god or goddess was their parent and how long they knew. It had only been two years for Aero so far.
"Nothing much is happening, just some flirting. I think it is time to chill out though."
You could tell that Aero defiantly needed to chill, when she got uptight then her powers got rather unpredictable. Like now. As she said chill out a breeze came through the open door, but it was just a little colder than it should have been. Even her breath was a little colder. Aero gasped and covered her mouth with her hands.
That was when the newer girl came over to Aero and introduced herself with a smile and an offered hand.
"Sorry, bit my lip. [/b] Aero used as an excuse before smiling back at Evangeline and taking the offered hand with her own. "My name is Aerowen Kalren, but I prefer to be called Aero."[/b] Aero looked her over quickly as they shook hands gently. Something felt off. He ran a hand through his hair, and decided that this was not his scene. Tight ass moody guy, two british girls, and a annoying girl who called herself Aero. Well, there have been stranger things in this town like the rumor that there were kids of the greek gods were running around. Ha, funny shit that is. Greek gods, were just a myth.
He turned himself back to look at Tam, "So lets say you and me get out of here. I'll drive."
