Sarafina put her hair in a ponytail then closed her locker, it was the first soccer game of the year and she was nervouse. Even though she had been playing soccer since she was five years old, she finally made it to captain. And for the first game of the season Richmond was playing against it's worst rival East LA High School, Sarafina remembered how the seniors her Sophmore year got into a rumble after the game and it was her duty to make sure that if it happened, none of the girls would get involved. She turned around hearing the door shut to the girls locker room "Hey, you better get out there, the girls are really nervouse." She said. With a nod Sarafina walked out to the soccer field she looked around as students, parents, and teachers filling the stand of the stadium.
Sarafina took a quick look around, trying to see if there was anyone that she knew already here. With a loud whistle the girls looked at her "Alright bring it in. She said to them, as they circled around her, " Alright I know it's the first game of the season, and as you've noticed we are going against our worst rivals. Trust I would've told you if I had known, but it doesn't mean that we'll lose. If we lose I know all of you played a good game, of course we'll have anothing chance sooner or later. But I want you all to know, I don't care if we win or lose, I want you to have fun and play your best okay? Alright hands in. She said to them each girl from the team put their hand in, "GOOOOOOO RICHMOND!!!!!! They yelled.

Kaleb never really had a thing for going to school sport events, he was the kind of guy who would rather have a beer in his hand and watch some NASCAR of course. But since he's best friend Dodger Moore's girlfriend was on the soccer team he decided to come watch and join Dodger in watching the game if he came, since Dodger decided to join the football team and he ended up becoming quarterback, Kaleb couldn't help but smirk at Dodger being on the football team. Kaleb tensed when he saw who Richmond was playing, East LA High School this was bound to be an intresting game that was for sure. Kaleb could only wonder how this game was gonna turn out, he quickly looked around for the girl that Dodger couldn't talk about, after a few seconds he saw her....So she was team captain, impressive. He walked down to seat that was on the middle field, he saved the seat next to him incase Dodger decided to show up and cheer on his girlfriend.

"GOOOO RICHMOND!!" Serena screamed with her team. She was so pumped for the first game that she found herself bouncing around excitedly. She probably should have been acting calm since she was now co-captain at all, but she just had so much energy. Soccer was her favorite sport and she loved it so much.

Chicago was standing facing her squad, with her back to the soccer field as she gave them a pep talk, and laid down the outline one last time. They still had about five minutes before they were due to go on, so that gave Chicago time to survey the stands and teams. On the end of the field closest to them was the Richmond girls soccer team, and she could Sarafina peppin gup her team. On the other end of the pitch was the East LA team. Looking up at the stands, she placed her hands on her hips and pivoted on her foot as she searched for familiar faces.
As she turned she caught a glimpse of someone and took a half step forward, then stepped back quickly and turned her attemtion elsewhere. It was Kaleb. She felt really bad about the way thigns had ended between them, but in the end, she just couldnt be with someone who constantly ripped shreds off her brother and best friend love of her life. It just couldnt happen. She hadnt seen or spoken to him since, and right now, she didnt plan on changing that any time soon.

Sarafina walked next to Serena, the co-captain. If Sarafina was not here she knew that she could trust Serena to take care of the team, "Ready to kick some butt Serena? Sarafina asked with a playfull smile on her face. Sarafina looked to the sidelines to see Chicago and her cheersquad there, it relaxed Sarafina to see her best friend here, Sarafina was mostly best friends with seniors so it was gonna be a little sad when they all graduate and she's gonna be alone her Senior year. The team started to head to the bench to hear the coach and his strategy for the game.

"Hell yeah! I am so pumped!" Serena said excitedly, following Sarafina over to the bench to listen to the plans. She was just getting so excited she could barely keep still. Usually her excitement wasnt a good thing but she knew if she used it as her motivation then she would do good.

Tam moved into the stand, holding her bag as she did. She'd never been to any school event so far and she wanted to check it out. Not to mention football...or soccer, was HUGE back home and it was a welcome reminder...even if she'd never actually watched a match before. ...There was a first time for everything. It was only after a while that she noticed Kaleb. She smiled and moved over to him. "Hullo handsome," She said pleasantly as she sat down. Outfit!

Kaleb looked around to see if there was anyone he knew except Chicago. There was one girl that was on his mind though, Tamara. God she was a beautiful girl, someone that took his mind off Chicago, infact when he was around Tamara he forgot all about Chicago and how their relationship ended. He heard a familiar voice then turned his head to see Tama a smile appeared on his face "Hello beautiful, how are you doing? He asked as he scooted over for Tamara to sit next to him.

No matter how many times I had asked Sassifrass to explain the rules and regulations of soccer to me, I could never really understand it. It's like football -- I've watched a helluva lot of games, but the only think I know about football is that there's this thing called a safety zone and if you ran across the line with the ball then it's a touchdown and then you gotta make a field kick and you're an absolute failure if you miss it and you get seven points total from both a touchdown and a field goal kick thing. Soccer, though.... all I remember is goalie, defenders, forwards, sideline throw thing, corner kick, and the goalie box and that circle in the center of the field. Yeah, I'm pretty much a failure at everything but crew rowing, archery, and equestrian, but hey, I can't be an expert on everything. Pfft, as if I'm even an expert on anything to begin with.
Anyway, to show my support for my non-blood related sister Sassifrass, I attend all the soccer games and cheer her on like it's the championship game. Sassifrass was a really good player, actually; she was always on the ball and just outwitting everyone that came across her path with some devious footwork that made my head hurt sometimes. Hm... I wonder how many goals she's made her whole soccer careeer....
As I headed across the bleachers, I was startled to see a certain someone and I stopped in my tracks: Kaleb. Not that I hated the guy, it's just... every time we talked, things just went downhill really fast. I quickly turned up the bleachers and headed up to my usual spot on the top row -- so I could see the whole field, of course, and not block anyone's view because of my wretched height -- and luckily Kaleb was a decent ways away, so I wouldn't have to worry about that. Right now I was here to cheer on my Sassifrass, and that's what I was going to do; don't focus on anything other than the game which I just lost. Hopefully her team would totally kick ass again this year again, even though I'll be losing my voice fairly quickly.

Soccer normally wasn't his thing, but there a number of reasons why he'd bother showing up. For one, he had this feeling that his best friend and partner in crime, Kaleb Robertson would show up. He was anywhere that the girls where, and that place happened to be the stadium at Richmond. But the only girl on Dodge's mind, was Richmond's soccer captain Sarafina Scott.
Dodge raised an eyebrow at smirked at his best friend, who was already trying to use that "bad boy charm" to get some numbers. "Kaleb, I think it's time to gave up." He teased, smirking at his best friend. The two of them were inseparable, wreaking havoc no matter where they went. Put them in a class together, and they were sure to drive the teacher up the wall.

Kaleb looked up at a too familiar voice, a side smirked formed on his face "So the almight quarterback decides to join us at a soccer game. He asked Dodger who was now sitting next to him, Kaleb looked back at the soccer team trying to figure out who was this girl he couldn't shut up about Kaleb is so close to asking why he hasn't asked to marry the girl yet, "So tell me now witch one is you're girlfriend? He asked Dodger as he ran a hand through his black hair.

He couldn't wait to see the look on Kaleb's face. "The blonde one right there." Dodger said, pointing towards Sarafina who was sporting her Richmond soccer uniform. She sure looked good in it, too. Before Sarafina came around, Dodge had a bad habbit of picking the bad ones that ended up screwing him over in the end. He'd had his fair share of lowsy girlfriends, but he truly struck gold with Sarafina. He knew Kaleb would approve, he didn't have to think twice about that one.

Kaleb followed Dodger's finger towards Sarafina, he looked over at Dodger " The soccer captain?" He asked him, I must admit you picked a good one. He said to her as he continued to look at her, before he looked back at Dodger, " So have you done anything with her yet?" He asked with one of those troublemaking smiles on his face.

When the two of them were together, the world better prepare for some trouble. Kaleb never failed to ask the kind of questions that only a guy like Kaleb would ask. "Well wouldn't you like to know." Dodge smirked, taking a drink out of the Dr. Pepper he bought at the concession stand. No sport was complete with some old fashioned soda. Judging by the mischevious smirk on Kaleb's face, he had a hurricane of questions and comments coming Dodge's way.

Sarafina took a quick look at the stands while the coach was talking then saw more familiar faces, Semper, and then her boyfriend Dodger who was talking to his buddie Kaleb from who appearently was from Dodger's past from what he had told her. Sarafina smiled before she looked back at the coach and the team before the whistle blew for the game to start, the coach looked at Serena and Sarafina and nodded then Sarafina and Serena where on their way to the middle of the field to see who would be defense and offense for the first part of the game.
