Tonight had been one helluva night. The party, in my opinion, had gone very well. The music had been good, the people fantastic, and the drinks better than anything else there. Eh... I really need to quit drinking so much. I knew it was really bad for my health, but you can't just quit addictions like they're nothing. Addictions are hard to break, let me tell you: you try to stop, you have the determination for a day or less, but then you cave faster than you can say "dammit". I really needed to get to AA and turn my life around, but of course I was procrastinating that. I'm honestly an awful procrastinator. Dammit. Oh damn, I caved.
Sheesh, it was cold outside. Sure it was nearly the middle of the night so it was naturally cold, and it was also winter, and it was just starting to snow, so.... yeah, I guess nature had its reasons to be cold. I had my hands stuck into the pockets of my jeans to try to keep them warm, but it wasn't exactly working. Never mind the fact that I was completely oblivious to realize that I could just roll down the sleeves of my long sleeve shirt; everything around me was hazy from drinking quite a few beers. Before we left I had been sure to pick up all the Mason jars so I could use them for something later, putting them all into the backpack I had on my back as I headed across the great expanse of lawn, hiccuping occasionally.
((Eww, fail post. Dx ))

Dream exited the building with a shiver. It was freezing outside and she had lost her heels at some point during the party and now all she had was bare feet. She glanced around and saw Semper walking across the lawns.
Dream took a deep breath and the darted across the lawns and to his side. Her feet were now officially freezing. "Let me walk you to your dorm, Semp, your gonna hurt yourself if you walk alone" She said, grabbing lightly onto his arm to help him walk.

After vince had patched up the knife wound he sighed and walked inside. He had bled pretty bad but was over all fine. he was just glad no one else was hurt along with the fact no he had proven his point that he was stronger. Putting his shirt and everything on he walks outside and picks up a Beer on the way out along with one of Semps mason Jars. Since he was to busy most of the night patching himself up and trying to relax. That he had yet to start drinking.
As Dream and the rest of his friends left he fallowed after them. Of course he could just drive but he wanted to drink so he decided to walk with them instead. As he made his way to Semp he helped him along as he took a sip from the beer he had grabbed. "Sorry if the party got messed up at all guys.. Though have to admit that was fun." Looking over at Dream he gives her a soft smile He was a little mad he didnt get the chance to ask her for that dance but figured he would get a chance again soon enough.

That party had been...interesting to say the least. Chicago shook her head as she walked to catch up to her friends up ahead. From the back they looked like Semper, Vince and Dream. Quickening her steps slightly to reach them faster, she offered a small smile even though it was dark and they couldnt really see.
Chicago ran her hands up and down her arms in an attempt to warm herself agains the cool night air. Sneaking a glance over at Semper, she knew he had been drinking, and she hadnt been able to do anything about it. The fight had caught her attention, and she had spent most of her time at the party making sure her big brother didnt do anything retarded. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts once more, she continued placing one heeled foot in front of the other across the lawns.
As she continued to walk through campus with her friends and she found herself beside Vince, she glanced down and gave a small gasp. She hadnt seen the knife wound he had got properly, as it happened, but as she saw the patched up gash she was shocked at how bad it could have been. "Oh my God! Vince! You could have died! Are you okay?" she knew it was a stupid question, but she had to ask.

Even though I was a bit tipsy, I was proud of myself. I had only had about two and three-fourths bottles of beer instead of my usual four to six. So instead of my mind being in the normal pea soup-thick fog, it was just a chicken noodle soup-thick fog. Some thoughts were getting through my mind straight, but others were being derailed and never getting answered.
Hearing a familiar voice to my side, I turned to see Dream walking beside me, holding lightly onto my arm. I couldn't help but lightly laugh. "I ain't that bad t'night," I told her, grinning awkwardly. I took my hands out of my pockets and gave Dream a massive bear hug, holding her tightly for a few moments before letting go and backing up a few steps. "Nah, was a good fight. Y' whipped his ass good." I snorted as I replayed distorted images of the fight in my head, though those were all chased away when I heard yet another familiar voice: Chicago's. She was worried about Vince and I didn't blame her; he seemed to have had a rip-snortin' good time with that fight. I wouldn't have been surprised if he had murdered Bear... or vice versa... or a draw, if death can be a draw.
"Pft, Vince can't die." I commented, catching up to the others, though this time I was walking alongside Chicago. "He was up there swingin' like hell's fury." I would've given a reenactment of the fight, but I didn't feel up to it. I hiccuped once, turning around and walking backwards, looking out across the dark lawn.
Everything looked so different at night. The grass was a really dark green and all the scattered trees looked black... the few stars that were out glowed dimly.... not only were there white stars, but orange ones, too. Right down close to the ground. Hmm... there were five orange ones, to be exact. That was odd. I squinted my eyes and tried to see the orange stars better, but then the thought hit me: those weren't stars. I recognized those lights -- they were the cab lights on my truck. Though the head lights weren't on, I recognized the dull roar of the engine.
Fucking hell, that's where my keys went. Someone hijacked my truck and was barreling across the great lawns straight towards us as fast as the rust bucket could go, which was roughly just fifty miles an hour.
Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
As realization came to me, I quickly turned to face Chicago, throwing my hands out against her and shoving her towards Dream and Vincent with every ounce of my two hundred and thirty-six pound body, trying to get her out of the way before my stolen truck h--
Damn, it had been too easy. I waited until everyone had left, then silently watched Vince's group as they headed out towards the great lawns. Pft. Such oblivious bitches. I had told him to watch out, but nooo, don't listen to Bear! He's just a bad liar with a big ego! Hell no -- oh hell no. I was going to get my revenge and damn, was it going to be sweet. Bahah!
Once I was sure no one else was around, I slammed the gas pedal down and the truck, even in its old rusted glory, shot off like a rocket and accelerated up to a "blazing" fifty miles an hour, tearing across the grass and zooming straight towards the group. I was sure to keep the headlights off so I wouldn't be seen, but as the giant freak show turned around, he seemed to see something. Maybe he heard the engine, but I don't know. He'd be the first one I picked off just because he'd seen me. A heinous smirk drew across my mouth as I angled the truck towards him, keeping the "pedal to the metal", as they say, and right as he was shoving that one girl or whatever, there was impact!
The front of the truck collided with him and maybe it was just the engine but I could swear I heard bones shattering, or something. His head hit the hood of the old rust bucket and eventually gravity pulled him under the flying truck, hitting the axels or something, and then the truck was moving smoothly again. I slammed on the brakes and turned the wheel, spinning the thing around so that I turned the truck to face the other standing people. The tall freak show, on the other hand, was laying motionless with what looked like blood on his head, but I couldn't tell; it was too dark. Hopefully he was dead, though. One more person out of the way.
My adrenaline was pumping so crazily that I had to stifle a demented laugh before slamming down the gas pedal again, steering the truck towards Vince and his friends.
"Told you to watch out, bitch."
((If you want to/feel compelled to do so, feel free to say you got hit. xDD ))

Dream grinned as Vince and then Chicago joined them on their walk back to the dorms. "ah It was fun watching you kick Bear's ass" she told Vince with a smile.
Dream turned slightly at the sound of a trucks engine before Semper pushed Chicago into her and Vince. She let out a squeak as she fell backward. She looked back over at Semp she heard the horrible cracking sound as the truck hit him. "Semper!" she screamed. She ran over to him and knelt by his side but she didn't know what she was supposed to do. All she knew was that there was a lot of blood. (fail post..x.x)
