Cutie(Sage)

Serena woke up in her dorm with a sigh. She was pretty much exhausted and would need coffee to survive the day. Okay, she didnt need coffee, she wanted to go get coffee so she could see Sage. Serena was pretty sure that he was the hottest guy at school, and it helped that he was the son of aphrodite.

Serena only knew about demigods through her sister. She knew that she wasnt supposed to know but that didnt bother her very much.

She slowly got out of bed and got dressed before dashing out of her dorm and jogging to starbucks. It took her a long while and she hoped that Sage would still be there for her to stare at.

Serena entered starbucks and quickly ordered her mocha. She sat down at a table by herself and noticed Sage. He seemed to be talking to employees or something.

Sage leaned against the counter of the Richmond's local Starbucks sipping on his ice blended caramel mocha. Sage was never to actually work. When he first got the job at Starbucks everyone thought he was going to be fired within the first week and honestly so did Sage. But his love for coffee made him work hard. There were few things he worked hard for and that was only for his hockey team and his job at Starbucks. He had been promoted to assistant manager of the coffee shop and that made him happy.

Sage took the order of an a customer then started to make coffee. The scents of vanilla and chocolate and coffee beans filled his nostrils and he couldn't help but smile. Sage took the mocha that was ordered and tried to find the girl who had ordered it. He walked up to a blond girl who seemed to be in high school. Maybe a freshman or sophomore? Sage shrugged and approached her. "Excuse," Sage flashed one of his famous heart melting smiles. "were you the one who ordered the mocha?" He then showed the girl the mouth watering drink.

Serena watched as Sage approached her. He flashed her one of his super hot smiles and she giggled, feeling her cheeks turn red. "Yeah, thats mine" She said, taking the mocha from his hands and placing it on the table in front of her.

Serena didnt want him to walk away so she struggled to think of something to say. "Uh, hi, Im Serena Bryant" She said, grinning at him.

Sage got ready to turn around after the girl took her coffee, but she spoke stopping him in his tracks. Yes, he did have to get to work. No, he was not going to be responsible and instead was going to sit down next to the girl and chat. And that's what he did. He turned around and smiled sweetly at the girl her called herself Serena. "Hi Serena. I'm Sage Amato. Uh, do you go to Richmond High?" He knew that almost any teenager in Richmond went to Richmond High School, but he was just making small talk. He sat in the chair across from her hoping she wouldn't mind too much that he didnt' ask.

Serena felt her grin get even bigger as he sat down across from her. She found her cheeks turn red again without her even saying anything. "Yeah, me and my sister Cleo both go to Richmond" She said, "and you go to Richmond too...Ive seen you play hockey" She felt her cheeks turn even redder. Now she thought she sounded like a stalker. He was gonna think she was weird now.

Serena took a drink from her mocha, giving herself a moment to let her cheeks turn back to normal color.

"Cleo? Yeah..I think I know her." Sage smiled. This girl was so obviously fond of him and he was just soaking up the attention. She was cute, but he would probably never do anything else but tease her. "You've seen me play? Am I good?" Sage chuckled then gave Serena a wink. He then turned around and waved at an employee so he could get his own drink. He was planning on talking to this girl for a while.

"Well, Cleo's the boring one out of the two of us" Serena said thoughtfully, before adding quietly, "Although she's lucky enough to be a demigod" Serena had always been jealous of her sister, but had done her best to keep her feelings hidden since her and her sister were actually really close.

"Your awesome at hockey" Serena told him, smiling. She had watched most of the games already and tried to make it to every one, unless she had to go to soccer practice, which was more important then hockey, even though she loved watching Sage.
