O N . M Y . W A Y Being the son of Hephaestus made being the manager of the auto-shop a pretty easy job. Eli had been helping his dad with cars since he was five and he always knew what was wrong and was usually able to fix things without needing the assistance of tools. Currently, he was working on a nice old car. Someone came in saying that they had found it in a dump and they weren't sure if it could be saved, but they figured they would try. Eli assured them that it would be no problem and that he would have it up and running in no time. And he literally meant no time..well kinda. Five minutes after the guy had left he started working on the car and knew what was wrong. In fifteen minutes he was done. Of course, Eli would keep the car for a couple of days so the guy would not get suspicious.
Elijah turned on the radio and sat inside of the car making some minor touch ups. Bending the metal this way and that to get a really cool authentic feel. Eli hum and sang along to the radio not really caring about anyone walking in since most of the employees were off anyway that day. He was always the last one to leave work mostly because he enjoyed it so much. "♫Send me on my way-on my way-on my way♪"

ON.THE.ROAD.AGAINChicago was slowly returnign back to her normal self. She wasnt feeling as slutty anymore, and she was slowly getting her appetite back, and not throwing it back up again. The doctors said it would be a long road to recovery -which was apparent already- and they stll werent sure about a few things, but she figured that some progress was better than none at all. Anyway, the blue eyed girl had gotten the keys for her car back from Vince, finally, and she figured she'd take it into the autoshop just to get it checked. And to scope out the hot mechanics. More the second reason than the first, because she could actually check her car herself, thanks to her dad being a mechanic and all. But they didnt know that. After driving around town for a couple of things, Chicago heard her car make a wierd noise and noticed that her fuel tank was pretty much empty. "Perfect timing" she thought to herself with a grin. Pulling her car expertly into the autoshop, she pulled the keys out of the ignition as the car gave a convincing shudder, and hopped out to see if she could find someone to "help" her. "Hello? ...Is anyone here?"

O N . M Y . W A Y Eli was now signing out loud like the dork he was when he thought he heard a voice. "Weird.." He decided he should probably check, just in case an employee forgot something. Eli grabbed the top of the door way and dipped out of the car in one fluid motion. The nineteen year old wiped his hands with his favorite rag, yeah weird, but that's how he was. He obsessed over certain things and he always had a favorite of something. A favorite rag, a favorite guitar, a favorite spoon to eat cereal with. Eli continued walking until his eyes fell upon a girl.
Oh dear. It was clear that she was breathtaking. Her hair was so dark and her eyes were a complete contrast with its blue intensity. Eli plastered a smile on his face and wiped his hand once more before extended his hand. "Hello, ma'am. How may I help you?" He was almost positive that she was younger than him, but he was a gentleman and he was an employee of this shop and it was his job to treat every customer like they were gold.

ON.THE.ROAD.AGAINChicago smiled to herself as she heard loud singing coming from...somewhere. She did that. Sung really loud when she was alone. Usually slightly out of tune, but she didnt care. As she saw the guy exit the car near the back of the shop. The seventeen year olds bright blue eyes, followed him all the way up the shop until he stood infront of her and extended his hand. Chicago couldnt help but give a subtle look over. He was cute, in a different way. That was nice. He was definitley older than her, but she figured it was only by a couple of years. Ma'am? Wow. she thought to herself. Thats one of the nicest things she'd been called this week. As she held out her hand to shake his, she gave him one of her warm smiles that, usually unintentionally, tended to disarm a person and all sorts of stuff. "Hi, nice to meet you. Uhm, well...something is wrong with my car...and I dont know what it is. I really dont know anything about cars, except how to drive one... " she trailed off. Okay, so it was a bit of an exaggeration on the truth, but he didnt know her father was a mechanic, or that she was anything more than your stereotypical pretty dumb chick, so what the hey? She liked being somebody else every now and then.

O N . M Y . W A Y "Oh well, don't worry. I'll take a look at it. Do you want to drop it off and come back another day or would you like to just hang out for a bit?" Eli already started moving to the car admiring the handiwork put into it. He absolutely loved cars. He had three after all. Maybe it was because his dad always worked on cars and sold cars and Eli was already around just staring, wishing he had enough money to buy one. When he discovered his powers however, he realized he didn't need money. He would spend a weekend searching for an old beat up car beyond repair..well any normal repair, and then he would fix it up. He would then put a new coat on it, add some nice engravings, the works. It was cheaper and he now had three cars that he didn't have to pay anything for. Pretty wonderful if you think about it. "So..what do you think might be wrong? I mean..are the brakes not working or is the engine making a funny noise or..." Eli trailed off hoping he was making sense.
