[Miss Smack]

There were several rooms that lined the walls of grand ballroom at Richmond High School. The tenth room was labeled two - sixteen. The persons assigned those numbers would walk into the room where they would walk to the left, two, or the right, sixteen. There was a single chair on each side where the person would sit and face a deep red curtain that covered the whole room. At that time, the curtain opened revealing who Miss Smack had partnered them up with.

Serena had been ready for the dance since the moment she woke up. She was already dressed and her hair was done, curly and cute. She was bouncy and really excited to figure out who her date was. She was really hoping it would be a demigod because students who were the sons of a god or goddess seemed to be naturally sexy.

Serena left her dorm and practically ran to the ballroom. She didnt even stop to look at all the decorations, she just quickly found her number and entered the room.

Serena had to wait for what seemed like a long time for the curtain to open. When she saw who was sitting across from her, she let out a squeak of joy before going silent and just staring at him with her cheeks bright red.

Sage straightened his tie before checking himself out in the mirror. He wore all black with a red tie in the spirit of Valentine's Day of course. This was one of his favorite holidays obviously, mostly because there were so many people who hated being lonely they would say yes to just about anyone which made things easier for Sage. He smiled at his reflection making sure to grab the single rose before he left his dorm.

The dance had already started and there was only a slight pinch of guilt that he had made his arranged date wait. He walked across the ballroom floor and entered the room with his number. As soon as he sat the down the curtain began to open. He put on his famous smile and held his rose. Once the curtain was opened, a blond girl was revealed on the other side. Oh crap, where did he know her from. Hm...oh! The cutie that liked her mocha coffee. He saw her blush slightly and he took it as a sign that she was happy with her match.

Sage stood up and walked across the room. He held at the rose offering it to the blond girl. "I'm glad that I got matched with such a cute girl like you." He winked at her playfully knowing that what he had said was cheesy, but oh well.

Serena giggled as she took the rose. She found her mind getting all jumbled up as she tried to think of a reply. "Your so sweet, Sage" She finally said, feeling a tad bit awkward as she felt herself staring at him. Damn, he was really cute.

"Um, Do you want to talk for a bit or go out there and dance" She asked after a few moments. She was really excited to dance with him and maybe if she was lucky he would kiss her later or something. Serena fund herself blushing at the thought.

Sage smiled sweetly. He was glad that Serena had enjoyed her gift this much. Some might have thought it was cheesy, but let's get real here, it was Valentine's Day, the whole holiday was full of cheese!...Well, chocolate and sex, but still. It was the cheesy things that always led to the girl..or guy, in bed. "Aw, I'm really not all that sweet, but thanks. You're sweet for thinking so."

"It's really your choice. I'm just here to please, my dear! Though it would be nice to get to talk to you a little bit more if you don't mind?" Sage walked back to his side of his room and grabbed his chair and pulled it up to Serena then plopped down. "So..how long have you been at Richmond?"

Serena smiled at him. "Uh, Ive been here for a few weeks now, I got transferred when my sister did" She said. "Have you been here a long time?" She asked. She looked him up and down, blushing. She was really awkward around boys she liked and since she liked sage a lot, without even knowing him, she felt nervous.
